When I first read these reviews I thought all the positive comments were too good to be true! But they exceeded my expectations! I needed a good cleaning within 2 days, other cleaning services were booked! I called them on a Thursday and was able to have them come over the next morning! The cost was little higher than what I expected... but when I saw my apartment after I was so impressed I gave them a $40 tip! I had a crazy infestation of flies and larva, and desperately needed a cleaning crew to come in after the exterminator came. The larva were even embedded in the rug (so gross). I found LA House Cleaning services and decided to give them a try based on their great reviews. I spoke to Carlos, who was very kind, and he gave me a great quote for both a deep house cleaning and carpet cleaning. The crew came 15 minutes early and the entire process took about 4 hours (including carpet cleaning). I was so impressed when I came back home. I didn't expect such a deep cleaning! They cleaned every nook and cranny, including the blinds on my windows and the top of the fridge! Plus, they did the dishes, which many places charge extra for. One star is WAY too high for this company. I have an 850 sq. foot house that is very neat and clean and I decided to treat myself and hire a house cleaning service every other week. I booked the first cleaning and they didn't show up. After 6 hours and 3 texts later I received a phone call saying there was a mix up. I rebooked and the same thing happened again! When they finally came they did an ok job of cleaning but not spectacular like my previous house cleaner that moved away. I confirmed that they would come every 2 weeks and the next time they didn't show up AGAIN. After a few hours of my calling and texting, the owner, Carlos, called back and apologized saying he doesn't know how this happened again but they had other houses to clean that day. I took a half day off work to accommodate them coming on a Monday and they were still late that day. Also, I caught one of the cleaning ladies snooping through my bedroom dresser and when I asked her why she was looking in my dresser she said she was cleaning it. The inside of the dresser drawer??? The 4th time they were supposed to come they didn't show up AGAIN. I texted the owner with no response. This is by far the most unprofessional and WORST cleaning company (if you can call it that) that I have ever used. They only charged $80 for cleaning my house and I guess you get what you pay for. I'd gladly pay more to another company (a reputable and real company) to have them show up on time and do a much more professional and thorough cleaning job. read more

First of all, let me say that I understand how detrimental leaving a bad review is to a business. After careful consideration, I decided that I had to post something. Yesterday I had LA House Cleaning Services come to my house for a cleaning. It was our first appointment with them. Within ten minutes, one of the two cleaners came to me saying that the toilets were backing up. I went to check it out, and indeed both toilets were overflowing and sewage was coming up the bathtub drain. We've never had a problem with our plumbing. I immediately asked them if they put anything down the toilet, they replied "No". I quickly ushered them out of the house and called my plumber. He came over and snaked our sewer pipe three times, each time fishing out baby/clean wipes from the pipes. My husband and I don't use wipes. EVER. So the two cleaners clearly used them and then flushed them down our toilet. And then they lied to me about it. To make a very long story short, after numerous attempts, our plumber was unable to dislodge all the wipes from our sewer pipe, as they were wrapped around a few roots deep into the system. He was here for a total of four hours trying. He is now breaking up the concrete in our backyard, to dig down six feet, and manually unclog the wipes from the pipe. This damage, caused by the two cleaners from LA House Cleaning Services, is costing us $1950. Yes, you heard me. $1950. The horrible thing is that Carlos has not responded to a single message. He's MIA and unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage caused by his cleaning people. Needless to say, his cleaners will never be allowed back in my house. It's one thing to make a mistake, it's another thing to lie about it and not take responsibility. DO NOT hire these people. So Carlos finally responded. He denied any responsibility and claims there is no way his workers could have caused the damage since they were only there for 15 minutes and don't use wipes. Here are the facts: They were only at my house for 15 minutes, BUT they started with the bathrooms (until I quickly kicked them out). And neither my husband nor I have EVER used wipes in the house, so they are the only ones who could have flushed them down the toilet that day into the sewer pipe. I think Carlos takes me for a fool. The disappointing part is that I wasn't looking for him to pay for the damage (I know, shocking). I was only looking for him to take responsibility and apologize. Sadly, this dishonest businessman couldn't even do that. I'm tempted to sue. He and his team continue to lie and deny doing what they did. If you have them in your house, I'd watch them like a hawk. Otherwise your $150 cleaning job could turn into $2000 in plumbing damage. read more

My husband and I always thought it would be a waste of money hiring people to clean our home, so we would do it ourselves.
