Horrible service. Cant paint nails.. Didn't use proper equipment for the nails to dry. They messed up my nails and then told me to come back and when I did the next day the lady starts giving me a hard time and didn't want to fix them didn't want to work with me and blame me for the nail polish not drying and messing up. Terrible service. I came in because my nail technician wasn't available, i have surgery on finger due to a tragic incident so i can't use my pinky but I'm able to get it done. Now the guys pulls and I politely told him to cause it stuck like that and hurts. He has a rude attitude and and does my nails so messed up. I seen the other workers nails didn't look this so asked him to fix what was bothering me and since didn't do it i asked if another worker could do it. He starts yelling blaming my pinky for his work and just cuts off my nails. Now i been growing my nails for a while so for him to do that because I asked if someone else could finish my nails, i will never recommend this places. I had a fabulous experience here last week. I called in at 6 o clock, just an hour and a half before they closed, to try and get myself and a friend in for the works: an acrylic balance with gel pedi and a full acrylic set with gel pedi. We got there at about 6:15 and they were ready and waiting for us. The salon itself feels professional and clean, and even sports a cool clear waterfall wall between the nails/toes sections. The massage chairs are good, and they even have a full service BAR with cocktails! Who knew that happy hour and mani/pedis could be combined into one accidental epic girls night?! We were excited and the service was excellent. As soon as we sat down, they got to work on our nails and our drinks. We each had 2 nail technicians working on us to get our services done as quickly as possible. They did our nails and toes at the same time. They worked diligently and quickly and did some of the best work I've ever had from a random salon that I went to on a whim. The staff were also super friendly and helpful and made the whole experience such a fun time for both of us. I was very pleased with the shape of my nails and I can be very picky-- my pedicure is also perfectly on point. The nail tech who did my acrylic balance got them so perfectly close to my cuticles that my nails still look pretty much Day 1 fresh almost a week later. This is sooo important to me because it adds time to the life of my mani and spaces out my expenses on my balances. I would 100% go back and would totally recommend this spot to anyone. read more

Do Not Ever come here for anything. They charges my nana $80 after telling her the price was 69 for short acrylic nails it was literally the same length as her regular nails. She sat there and showed my grandmother no prices and told her it was cheap and to not worry although they had no prices in their shop. They sat and rushed her out and gave her no receipt!! My wife went here twice for a balance and nail repair. The man who did her nails was very unprofessional and the work he did damaged her nails. My wife went to another nail salon and was told that because her acrylic nail was put on incorrectly that water was trapped underneath causing nail fungus. Advise not to go here. read more

I have never written a yelp review, until today! Walked in today for a gel toenail polish change and a gel manicure. The young guy that performed my service was sooo incredibly rude. He didn't like how short my toenails were (I am a runner and I have to keep them short). The way he talked to me was awful. He asked me if I was getting my nails done and I responded "Yes a gel manicure please." he then replied "Are you wanting to add tips to those nails because they're awfully short?". He wasn't happy with anything I answered. Then he only did one coat of polish on my toenails. I have always gotten 2 coats and they look terrible! I have never been treated like this and I would never return to this place. I didn't even end up getting the manicure because I was so upset. This place was terrible! They tore my nail down to the skin with no remorse! I had gone in to have my acrylic nails taken off and get a whole new set. The young man doing my nails (seems to be owners son) didn't even apologize for being so rough that he tore a piece of my nail off! Then while bleeding, the lady in charge Lee comes over stating she's done nails for 20 years and this happens all the time but it's an easy fix because they'll just put a nail and acrylic over it. OVER MY SKIN????!!!! HAPPENS ALL THE TIME??!! Who says that?! And I still had to pay $20 for the manicure they gave me instead since I couldn't get my nails redone due to their negligence. THIS PLACE IS KNOWN FOR SPREADING NAIL FUNGUS, SEEDY OVER-CHARGING METHODS AND UNPROFESSIONAL NAIL REMOVAL TECHNIQUES. They consistently overcharge and their methods of charging for services is questionable and not based in any menu. They charge you based on what they feel like charging you. I once was charged 20 EXTRA DOLLARS from nick after he explained there was a fee to have my nails filed to the shape i wanted. I have never been to a place that charges extra for filing because most places realize this does not make any sense and leads to over paying for basic nail services. The technicians at this establishment use unorthodox, unsafe and damaging methods to remove acrylic and dip nails which includes using ANOTHER NAIL to pry off a acrylic or dip nail that has not been soaked off to save time and energy when they know they should not be doing this. They have also cut my friends and left GASHES, broken nails and pain. The last time i went here my pinky nail was BROKEN after they used another nail to pry off the dip powder on my nail. I was in so much pain they could not finish the acrylic set i was getting. The technician proceeded to tell me that i have extremely sensitive nails and that i had to be tough because the pain was only temporary. NOPE!! This is inexcusable and i left half way through the set. My close friend received a untreated NAIL FUNGUS from unclean utensils that she is still dealing with after being a loyal customer for years. I would not recommend this place to anyone but especially not any Black women!!! As a Black women i feel the owners of this establishment are very racist, condescending and prejudice. They would know everyone else's name at the salon, and would not know mine even after me and my mother were regulars there for 3 years! read more

I probably wouldn't return. I made a appointment and still had to wait an hour before I was able to get in a chair. I understand that it's still pandemic so I try to just shrug it off cause stuff happens. I had enough time to look through all the gel color options and made my choice. When she asked if I'd selected a color I showed her the one I chose. She said they didn't have the color and to look for another and I told her I'd already viewed them all and just asked if she had something similar to the color (a sheer beige/nude work friendly color) and she sighed loudly and threw the color pallets on the table. I just settled for a pale nude color to hurry the process up for both of us. The nails were rushed which resulted in the lumpy gel application and the gel chipping off only after a week and a half of having this set even though I was told gel didn't chip. i usually go here but I won't be coming back. I was disappointed that the salon was unwilling to remedy my complaint. I got a full set with French tip and felt that it had been done rushed and not to the best quality (for nearly $70 too). I went back in same day and asked for my lady to take off the gel and just put a solid coat on. she gave every excuse not to do it and said they looked fine (but they're my nails). I personally think it would have been better to spend the ten minutes correcting it then to permanently lose a customer... if you choose to go here, don't try to get fancy with the design! I recently relocated to the area and wandered into LA Nails for a gel manicure and pedicure. I was pleasantly surprised and will probably go back. The place was clean, the massage chairs were comfortable and the nail technician was friendly. My only suggestion would be to have more gel polish colors to choose from. (They maybe have 20?) and I wish my nail person would have offered me the frequent buyer card that was sitting on her table. I was referred to this place by a friend for lash extensions. I loved them at first, I went back for a few fill ins as I should but this last time I left there so excited, my lashes looked incredible and fuller than ever before. This excitement came to an end when I realize that instead of shedding a single lash (which is normal) 3-4 lashes would fall out at a time. I couldn't tell until I got in the sunlight that the gel polish did not cover my entire nail and looked like it was dripping on the sides. I called but since it was a holiday weekend I couldn't come back until Tuesday. I went back. I asked for someone different but was told the same girl that did them would fix them. Let me tell you they are not fixed. The gel is all around my nail and one of my nails doesn't have a shiny topcoat. My mom and I went tonight for pedicures and decided on the $30 service...They handed us a ring of colors and said pick one so we did... not knowing the ring the gave us was "gel" polish... neither of us have used gel before. We went to check out and they up charged us each $17 for the gel polish.. We both looked at each other shocked because we asked for the $30 pedicure. When I asked her about it she said you picked out gel polish which is an additional $17... I said well we didn't ask for that nor did you tell us the gel was an additional $17.. the lady got snippy and said it's on the menu and walked away. Yeah she turned her back and walked way... WOW!! You know there are a lot of nail salons in this town and I certainly will NOT go back here... I understand up charging which is part of this industry. But it's in really bad taste to give us an additional service and not tell us that there would be an additional $17... They were very clear about telling us both how badly we needed manicures which they said they'd do for an additional $15 ( they asked me this 2x and my mom 3x during the pedicure) We politely declined each time. Again I get the wanting to up charge but this was in really poor taste.. Sadly they could have cared less. I had been here once before. Tony did my nails last time and I had a great and relaxing time so I tried it out again. My pedicure was done well and it started off great. Then, when it came time for my manicure, the manager, Lee did it. She was distracted, on the phone, trying to get people seated and organized and trying to rush through my manicure. I got dipping powder which looked like shit even after she started to file them. As she was filing with the hand file, she was filing my knuckle and the tip of my fingers. Not the most painful but not the most ideal feeling. Then, when she was using the round file, she kept cutting my cuticles and making me bleed. The first time she did that, I asked her to please be careful. The second, third and fourth time, I told her I would wait for someone else who isn't distracted to finish my nails. Lee tried twice to continue doing my nails and so I got loud and told her that I will wait. Instead of dealing with the other distractions (customers left unattended for hours, the phone ringing, getting customers checked in) she just stood there and kept telling me someone would be right over. I heard her the first time but she kept trying to remind me. Another customer asked me what happened and I told the other customer and showed her. Lee interrupted us and told the other customer that she cut me with the file because of my cuticles. Mind you, I had just gotten a manicure and should have no issues with my cuticles. A nice gentleman had to step in and finish my nails and redo all of what Lee did because it looked like shit. Now I have left with residue from when they removed the GelX extensions I had on previously and cut cuticles. I'm not sure why Lee didn't take accountability or apologize but the gentleman who had to finish my nails tried to offer to pay for my dipping powder if I paid for my manicure. I shouldn't have to pay for ANY of it. I only paid for my pedicure and my manicure should come out of Lee's paycheck. She is not well equipped to be the salon manager and she clearly shouldn't be doing manicures so either get her more education or fire her. Unfortunately for everyone else that did a great job, my day was ruined, I was ready to get out of there and I will not be coming back. Lee needs to take accountability for her actions. When I was leaving, Lee was yelling at employees because she over-sat customers and they weren't being tended to on time. That creates a stressful atmosphere for both clients who want to relax and employees giving great service. Getting your nails done isn't cheap so if that's the best Lee can do, I would do a performance review on her and improve the experience for everyone. read more

Such a hidden gem. It's so hard to find a good nail place; i've tried many others and keep coming back here. Their gel manicures are $30 which is great. Their staff is always super friendly and patient. I would highly recommend going to Tony for your manicures. He always takes his time in a super friendly and engages in conversation while you're getting your nails done which is something that i find strangely hard to come by at other places. I recently moved and I still drive across town to come back here because of the great service. However there is one male technician that works Sunday's I would avoid. I was very pleased with the service and the prices are reasonable. I got gel nails and absolutely loved them! Lee is great and very sweet.
