I would give it 5 stars, but I felt the service was a little pricey. I paid $70 for a balance, which included shaping and filing, with no designs and just a single color. The shop was clean, and the employees were respectful and professional. Overall, a good experience, but the pricing felt a bit high for the service provided. read more

Very disappointed. I am new to Ohio and struggling to find a nail tech and glow bar nail is definitely not worth the price or time of day. I was hesitant to get my nails here but figured since I'm attending a wedding soon, I'll give them a shot. My nail tech, Lan did a good job with my pedicure however I am extremely disappointed with my hands! I felt like I was coaching her through how to do fill -in and a French design. - the shape of my nails are inconsistent - The pink (primarily French part) is patchy and the amount of pink varies on every nail - The white lines are very sloppy - The overall nail design is not clean and you can visibly see mistakes and smudges It was clear that Lan was rushing. Being very transparent, I felt has I was being nickle and dimed for trying to voice my opinion on what I was looking and was being charge a "compliment fee". I paid $172.00 for this and feel as if the quality of this work is worth $50. I am very upset as if feel like I should never leave a nail salon immediately thinking I need to go to another so they can FIX it. Major let down, I recommend you try anywhere but here. read more

Beyond disappointed. Long time customer here and my daughter got nail extensions with gel. Within 24 hours one fell off. Within 72 hours most fell off and she just let me know yesterday. Called to get them redone at no charge and they could not fit us in. Then they had a last minute cancellation that we couldn't get to. Now they won't fix them at all at no charge. Will never go back. read more

Came here on a whim due to having a wedding coming up. I initially only booked a pedicure but after hanging out for a bit I decided to get my nails done as well. They got me in right afterwards and my nails are so cute, I went with a Gel X manicure since acrylics usually make my finger tips hurt. Tess was amazing! Got a standard pedicure and pink and white acrylic nails. Almond very very short. All of it was 159 plus tip. So for almost 200 I don't know if I will return again. But they were nice. But just kind of a scam for basic pink and white and standard pedi. read more

I called before trying this business and specifically confirmed the services I wanted and they agreed and asked me to come on in. When I arrived I was mildly greeted. Waited for about 20 minutes before being approached. When my turn came I was summonses rudely by the one sitting closest to the door. Only to sit down and learn that the basic plain pink acrylic short full set I called in to confirmed offered was not an option!! I was told,"We only have white and a light pink powder". Glow Nail Bar is the BEST in Columbus. This nail salon is clean and the staff is why I keep coming back. They are all very personable and clearly enjoy making their customers happy! I get gel and they don't use a drill to get the polish off. They wrap in acetone and foil and then soak and scrap off gently using a tool that doesn't damage my nail. I used other salons for gel and couldn't figure out why they used the drill other than to get me in and out fast. This salon is all about quality and you can tell by the attention to detail. This salon is located in a strip mall and ample parking around. Easy access right off Hamilton road. Ask about their reward program to earn discounts, giveaways and upgrades. They took there time on my mani and pedi. My nails were done and shape to my desire. In love the vibe inside with all the lights as well. More importantly they are very clean!!! I've been to Glow a couple of times now and I absolutely love the service I get there every time. This last time I got a pedicure from Jason and he did such an amazing job. From talking with him, You can tell that he cares so much about his customers and their experience at his salon. Everyone is super professional, the salon is spotless and never too crowded. My nails were done well, the products used are quality, and there is special care given to each customer. Do NOT expect to walk in here. It is not one of those types of salons. There's booking info on her IG if you're interested. I know it can be hard to find a nail tech but as far as I'm aware, she's still taking new clients. I started seeing Kayla because she offers the Aprés Gel-X nail extensions. They're like acrylic nails, but gel. They last longer on me, look more natural, are more flexible, and much much quicker than building acrylics or gel nails. Also, they're much less damaging on my nails since they don't life the way acrylics do on me. So if those are issues you've had in the past, hit Kayla up! She's super sweet, and has a lot of colors, glitters, and stamps to pick from.

My sister and I came here yesterday 1/27/ 2017. I got a fill in, and she got a pedicure. We had an appt. at 6:45. I really enjoyed the vibes and design of the salon, it seemed clean and organized. The brothers that own it are very conversational, and enjoyable to talk with. My sister is nine months pregnant and she said that Joenah gave her the best pedicure she has ever had. She said he was talkative but not annoying, he gave the best massage to the point that when we got home she said she wouldn't go anywhere else from now on. As for my fill in, I got black with a matte finish. Since it was my first time getting matte Andrew waived the $5.00 extra charge which was very nice of him! I don't know why but I think it's with the matte finish that I can see horizontal lines where he buffed my nails. Which isn't anyone's fault, I believe it's just the finish. Since they have a two week guarantee policy for their services I am going to go back and see what they suggest/ get it changed and I will update my review after. They seem so nice, and I plan on going back in two weeks! Update: 02/07/17: I never made it back, since I didn't make it to them before they closed on Saturday, and had to go back to school which is out of town. But I will be back home this weekend and plan on going back to get a fill in. read more

To be honest, was initially frustrated because I tried walk-in a couple of times and was not able to get in. They explained that they strictly prioritize appointments and do not take clients if they do not have appropriate time to complete service. I finally made an appointment and got in on a Saturday. They did not disappoint. I have to agree with many of the reviews, the salon is in immaculate condition, literally not a spec of dust anywhere. The tech, forgot her name, was so helpful in helping me pick a color and was extremely gentle when she removed my gel. The salon environment did not seem rushed at all. She took her time and painted my nails completely. It's been 4 weeks and my gel is still not chipped. Will definitely be back. read more

Nice place! Love the decor and massage chair, and the service was top-notch! I had an "On The Rocks" pedicure, and it was luxurious and extravagant. You receive a menu, and can pick from different ingredients for your own customized foot scrub and moisturizing treatment. Paraffin dip, hot towels, and hot stone rubdown were relaxing additions to this full-service pedi. They have plenty of beautiful polishes to choose from, and a complimentary beverage when you arrive. (Wine would be even better ;) ) These folks definitely know what they're doing, and will give other high-end nail spas a run for their money. I'll be back, for sure! read more

So wife and I decided that I should try a pedicure. Very first pedicure at that. Push my pride aside and went full throttle. Honestly, went to Glow and the staff made it extremely comfortable for me especially for my first experience. The salon itself was so so clean. The employees allowed me to settle in without making it awkward for guy to get a pedi. They answer all questions I had and made the first pedi experience absolutely enjoyable. We were in the area for Father's Day/daughter's birthday celebration and booked a last minute pedicure at Glow Nail Bar. They were absolutely fabulous! Attentive to detail, friendly and their massage chairs made it feel like we were getting a real massage. Very relaxing. Definitely recommend stopping in! read more

I was not disappointed. It's located in Olde Towne East. Spa is a cute little shared space with about four local small businesses. I got the Simply Beautiful manicure. Great price at $17 (don't forget your gratuities). Services performed were as described: -Trim and shape the nails -soak to soften skin -push back, trim, and buff cuticle -scrub and massage the hands -apply color of your choice (I did Clear).
