Ummm what? I've had lashes for almost 10 years and switched to her because she convinced me she had better service and better product. She told me she was going to give me a free volume set- i told her that wasn't necessary and I would gladly pay for whatever a fill cost because that's why I was there and I wanted to remain a client for years to come. I don't like moving around... Well after my appointment she told me she had refunded me my deposit and told me i was done "happy Halloween " she said snarkily as I was about to leave. I brushed it off and asked again if there was any way I could pay her for the fill she said no, and when i mentioned coming back for a 2 week fill she said "ummm i don't know your eyelash regimen...." i was so shocked i didn't even know what to say.... so I said oh okay well I'll book online when i get home. I get home to find out she has blocked me from booking on her online services and has also blocked me from FB. What the actual f.... Why do people think it's okay to treat others this way? I'm not exactly sure what I did other that let her know they all came off sooner that I thought but I'd like to continue to use her because I know she does a good job. This is not okay, this is not okay to treat customers this way. Mandy Collins was my tech!

Let me tell you exactly how I've come to fall completely in love with her work: 1) Perfectionist! Katie does spend time on her volume sets but that's because she is literally making absolutely perfect fans on every single one of your lashes. How do I know? Because as my lashes grow out and naturally shed, I'll find one on my counter sink in PERFECT fan, not clumped together, not 3-4 lashes with globs on glue at the base. They are perfectly spaced lash fans that create beautiful wispy volume. I would rather lay there for two hours with PERFECTLY fanned out volume lashes than have a rushed one hour session with clumps. 2) Genuine and Real! Katie is honest and isn't trying to just make a fast buck with shoddy work. When I came to see her after not being able to be scheduled with my previous lash girl, she very honestly told me that she needed to remove the previous work and let my lashes grow back a bit. She could've easily just removed my previous set and put a new set on, but after removal, she saw that I had some natural lashes that needed to grow a bit more (apparently they might've been pulled out in a chunk due to glue clumping from my previous artist's work). She wanted what was best for my lashes and not what was best for her pocket! 3) Caring! She cares about the health of your natural lashes and wants you to be able to enjoy lash extensions for a long time. She educates you on your natural lash growth circle and lash care and because she is so meticulous in her careful placement of every full lash fan, my lashes really DO get healthier! 4) Lastly, TALENTED AF! She knows that I have thin but long natural Asian lashes and that a D curl is not going to work with my small Asian double lid. She knew to use a C curl, she knew to use thinner but more lashes versus thicker and less, she knew what length would work with my eye shape! She customizes it to fit your look. I even referred my girl friend to her who is also Asian but has different shaped eyes than me and I could tell she did a slightly different style and it looked amazing on her. Oh wait sorry and one more 5) did I mention her lashes lasted ALL MONTH? I used to get my lashes filled every two WEEKS with all my previous lash artists. I don't know how she does it, but they still looked good a MONTH later when I came back in for a new set. You know what that means? Better for my wallet! Katie is in it for quality lashes, customized looks and longevity of your natural lashes! Anyway, I've found the Cinderella to my glass slipper. I've enjoyed the lashes of my past but I think Katie fits me the best and I'm done searching!!!

My technician, Tia, started my appointment right on time. She was quiet but checked in with me to make sure she understood what I wanted. While the service itself wasn't bad, there wasn't anything that stood out. At other salons I've visited, the experience typically ends with small finishing touches--like applying lotion or a brief hand massage--but this service felt very basic. I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. Since my nails were completely dry when I departed, I believe those issues should have been caught before the service was finished. For me, the overall experience wasn't worth the drive or the price I paid. The video of my nails tells the story better than this caption ever could. That said, based on my interaction with Honey, I genuinely believe booking with her could result in a different experience. She made a great first impression, and if I were to return, I would specifically request an appointment with her.

While I typically refrain from leaving negative reviews online, I feel compelled to address the consistently poor service I have experienced from Pam, the front desk attendant who also performs nail services. Despite numerous visits to this establishment with my elderly mom who has dementia and daughter, where I've encountered courteous staff, Pam's demeanor has been consistently discourteous and unprofessional. Recently, I scheduled an appointment with Michele, which was listed in the system. Upon arrival, it became apparent that Michele had been double-booked. Instead of addressing the situation directly with me, Pam chose to converse in her native language with a colleague, instructing them to reschedule me without so much as an acknowledgement of the oversight. This pattern of disregard for customer service is unfortunately characteristic of Pam's interactions. As the primary point of contact for customers, her behavior reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. If it is not within Pam's capacity to extend respectful treatment to all clientele, regardless of race, I will seek services elsewhere. read more

I had a wonderful experience! Gina did my gel builder nails and they turned out absolutely beautiful. She was meticulous, professional, and made sure every detail was perfect. My nails look amazing and feel strong and healthy. Henry did my pedicure and was equally fantastic. He was thorough, attentive, and made the experience so relaxing. I visited L'Amitie Nail Spa and had a very disappointing experience. I intended to leave a cash tip after my service, but before I had the chance, a staff member confronted me in a rude and accusatory manner, assuming I wasn't going to tip at all. This behavior was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. No paying customer should be treated with suspicion. I will not be returning, and I hope this issue is addressed seriously. read more
