To try and save time, I tried painting my own nails before a trip and failed (HARD). Googled and ended up here at the professionals getting my handiwork fixed. When I called friendly receptionist Kasandra answered my questions - great first impression! They were able to take me as a walk-in, and the same, knowledgeable young lady ended up help me select the right services. Facility was clean and neutral-smelling! My mimosa with frozen juice cube was the best drink I've had at a nail salon. Cindy went the extra mile and worked meticulously hard to make my nails PERFECTION. Since I had already trimmed my nails and half-assed the rest, I appreciate how much effort she put into their transformation. OMFG, thanks to Cindy's skill, my nails are disco heaven! I was very hopeful because of the comments made by managers to other clients "we take our time" "we make sure everything is good!" "We aren't like the other places." Well this is the result of that. Lumpy blotchy gel manicure. My mom's dip took literally 15min!! It was unreal and not in a good way. And to top it all off we got sat at uncleaned stations and the folks just worked around that. This was at 11am on Wednesday April 16th with appointments so no excuse. Better yet, the man doing my nails left several times to have a smoke even though he said he was going to get something and came back smelling so strong of cigarettes it was disgusting!!! And to clear up any potential confusion, my nails aren't lumpy or bumpy so that's all terrible polish application. Such a shame :( when the business saw my review on Google they proceeded to claim that I was mistaking and that it wasn't their that this all happened HA!! So here is the reply to that claim: The male technician with the rotting teeth who was absolutely smoking is who did my nails. If you need more proof I can gladly post the bank charge that was charge to my account on the day I paid for the two services I refer to in the review. Instead of being combative and make it sound like a customer is being dishonest or confused, recognize that the services provided were horrible and either try to make it right or at least try to improve. read more

Both my aestheticians were wonderful! Joanne went out of her way to save my poor, worked hands and I am impressed! I went in with terrible cuticles and very dry, cracked hands due to homesteading in the desert and I can't believe how well they did! The place was clean, organized and friendly. I was excited to try this salon as I've been looking for my go to place since moving in the area. My husband and I came for a pedicure only since we were trying them out. Although every nail tech was with a customer we didn't mind waiting. Would have preferred at least waiting in the hot water bath but that wasn't an option. When it was finally our turn my nail tech started on my toes first and rushed through the entire pedicure. For what is usually a relaxing event for us, this was by far the most expensive and least favorite experience. Ultimately, I came to the conclusion that the fancy decor is a façade. I got my dip nails done yesterday, and by the next day, two nails had already fallen off. I'm very disappointed with the quality and service. I decided to go here because it's close to my place, but after this experience, I won't be coming back. I went back to get two nails fixed. Then later that night, another nail fallen off again. Went this morning to get it fixed, then another nail fallen off again in a couple hours. Total of 4 nails fallen off in 4 days. It's ridiculous. read more

My daughters and I all got manis and pedis. I had Jessi who was awesome and my nails came out exactly how I wanted. Jessica did my pedicure and she was so sweet and took her time to make sure my pedicure was perfect. My daughters were all happy with their nails. The front host needs some training and it took 15 minutes just to get us checked in due to so much confusion. But other than that we had a great experience and will be back. read more

UPDATE: I called and wanted a refund on just my nails and the owner insisted on fixing them for me. I went in and we started over. They look amazing now. I appreciate them going the extra mile to make it right. I have gone to this place twice. First time my nails were ok but I still had to go home and file them the way I asked. I went in again and my pedicure by David was amazing. I would recommend him. However it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to do my dip with tips. I asked for skinny square w/round edges. I really wanted to love it here, the reviews were good. I went early on a Sunday morning with no appointment. I was helped right away and was told no problem. I was having a regular polish manicure and pedicure. Here is where things went a little down hill for me. The manager(multiple times) desk person and nail tech all tried to upsell me to gel. I shouldn't have to say no 5 or 6 times to something. It was such a turn off. But the nails techs were great and very nice. read more

Today, I had my powder nail removal. At the end, the technician told me to wash my hands, but I realized that my nails were sharp and pointy. I asked for them to be filed for correction, as they were uneven. Tiffany, the lady who helped me, was very disrespectful. She didn't even say thank you after the filing and simply walked off without saying a word. Please avoid getting services from Tiffany; she is very disrespectful toward customers. read more

I was excited to try Golden Nail Bar in Frisco during their grand opening, but unfortunately didn't have the experience I was hoping for. There was some confusion regarding our services due to miscommunication between the employees. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, which were done simultaneously... something I usually don't mind, but in this case, it felt disorganized. They weren't fully prepared at the start; the pedicure basin had to be filled using a bucket from the back since the faucet only dispensed cold water, so the temperatures were off. It was hard to relax during the pedicure because my hands were being done at the same time, with a pillow and UV lamp unsteadily balanced on my lap. Despite turning off the massager upon the tech's request, the setup was so unstable that it bumped two of my nails and messed up the polish. I let the tech know, and she did a quick fix which seemed fine at the time, but one nail still ended up visibly bumpy and uneven. More concerningly, the tech accidentally nipped the skin around one of my nails. It bled and still hadn't stopped two hours later. The cut is still visible. To their credit, most of the staff was friendly. They handed me a rose and gift bag as part of their grand opening gesture (which was lovely) but they didn't offer one to my friend and instead told us to share, which felt a bit awkward. Before we left, they asked us to leave a 5-star review, but I wanted to reflect on the service first. I'm glad I did, because less than 48 hours later, one of my gel nails chipped. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering I was charged an extra $40 for gel polish on my hands and toes. I was told the gel should last at least two weeks- I expected much better quality and care. read more
