This is a little shop on Broadway. The outside is extremely discrete. There's not a large selection of items but you can definitely find what your looking for. The employees were very pleasant and knowledgeable about the products. There was a mixed crowd inside, various races and ages. The products were reasonably priced. Not as cheap as Amazon, but cheaper than most of the other stores in the area. The store itself was reasonably stocked and neat. I made the mistake of not seeing the "unauthorized parking.. vehicle will be towed at owners expense.." sign because I went next door to have lunch at New Canton. I initially thought La'mour Shoppe was New Canton because of how close the restaurant sign is to their building. After about 30 minutes, I left the restaurant and noticed my vehicle was gone. Come to find out, an employee named Tofu called to have my vehicle towed by H&R Towing shortly after parking (approx. 10-15 mins? Also, see my Yelp Review on H&R Towing). I would not recommend this store to anyone. I bought 3 DVD's last night, 2 of which were defective. I tried to return or exchange them today but the guy wouldn't return them because I didn't have the cases. I told him when I purchased them last night I told the lady I didn't need the cases -- I was walking in downtown so I wanted to slip the DVD's in my pocket-- but she didn't say anything about not being able to return without the cases. I said to him, had she told me that, I would've of course taken the cases. his answer was that it wasn't him who sold me the DVD's. I said I deal with a store not a person, and that what he was doing wasn't right because I had bought $80 worth of DVD's that were not playing right (they kept freezing and not letting me even fast forward through it)...The guy still wouldn't budge, he kept repeating there's nothing I can do for you. I left the DVD's and receipt at their counter and walked out, never going back. I'm giving 1 star rating not only because they sold me defective items, that could happen anywhere, but more importantly because they were unethical, and unwilling to fix it for me read more
