This is a learning experience. Take the few minutes to hear your client so you can accommodate them properly. And when they say no to the upsell, don't try and make them feel bad. Maybe they only have a certain amount and if they did the higher price service you could be screwed out of a tip. Respect goes a long way. It could even make you get a bigger tip.
