Went for the first time over the weekend with a friend to a pedicure. I thought overall they had a nice selection of colors which is always good. We came in without having an appointment and we only waited about 15 minutes before we were able to sit in the pedicure chairs which is pretty good. Overall my pedicure was nice. I didn't think it was the best Ive had but overall the paint job was great and my feet left feeling smooth. I didn't think about it until I'd left but I don't think they really checked to see if I had any ingrown toes nails and I should have said something while I was there. I really appreciate the quality of my manicure and the attention they paid to my nails. they would also pause and confirm if I liked the shape/color/etc. before continuing. We discovered this place because they have a kids pedicure chair. The staff is so very friendly!! They treat every customer well, chat with you without being disruptive if you want to just relax. Which is awesome. Only two minor drawbacks: I don't think they get many people who want cool designs so bring a picture and they are a bit pricey. read more

Love this spot. My dip manicure and regular pedicure were both excellent and exactly what I wanted. The staff is friendly and does great work. I came in here as a walk looking for them to fix my nails that had been done poorly by another salon. They found a way to fit me in, on a time crunch, with my 10 month old baby. From the moment I walked in, they were so accommodating. I even told one of the ladies about how I was scared to trim my daughters nails because I was afraid I would hurt her, so she trimmed and filed her nails for me. It was just a very kind gesture. I also heard her offering to give a ride to an elderly woman who loves coming in and lives close by, but can't drive herself. They fixed my nails quickly, and I love the way they look, but there's lots of places that can make your nails look good. Their customer service went way above and beyond. I REALLY wanted to like this place, as it's closer to my office than my regular salon, but my manicurist, Duy, seemed to do everything possible to make this the least enjoyable experience he could, and therefore, I will not be back, even though I get dip manicures every 3 weeks. I will stick with my regular salon. Side note: One of the reasons I get regular manicures is that underneath the polish, my real nails aren't pretty. I wasn't genetically blessed with pretty nails, which is fine. I got good hair and cool eyes. It's a trade off. Can't have it all, right? My nails are paper thin, tear easily when they are unpolished, and my nail beds are crooked and raised from my nail. On top of that, I also have a bad habit of chewing my cuticles and picking at the skin around my nails. I'm also incredibly hard on my hands. I enjoy getting dip manicures because the polish makes my nails stronger, and when my nails look good, I don't pick or bite at them. If I go too long between manicures, and the polish layer comes off, my nails generally break quickly and go back to looking terrible until I can get into a salon. I say that because today was one of those days. I needed to get my nails done today because we are leaving tomorrow to go out of state for a wedding. My last manicure was 4 weeks ago because I didn't have time to get in sooner, so the polish layer had all come off, and my nails looked bad- they were broken, uneven, and my cuticles were a mess. However, my manicurist seemed to bring this up every 5 seconds. He asked me lots of questions on why my nails looked that way...and then when he was finished with my cuticles, he said, "okay, got that 'massacre' cleaned up." Look dude, I know they aren't pretty. You don't need to make me feel like a circus freak. This is why I pay to get my nails done- so they can look as good as possible. Clean them up, and drop the non-stop commentary. I'm not looking for your opinion here, and you don't need to try to humiliate me. I'll probably manage that later on my own when I trip over nothing. Secondly, this is probably the least relaxing manicure I've ever had. He told me probably 20 times to "relax" while pulling my fingers and arms into uncomfortable contortionist positions, while laughing to himself. Finally I told him that I didn't know what else he wanted me to do - I couldn't really relax my hands anymore than they were already relaxed. Perhaps I need to be double jointed to comfortably get my nails done here. Third, this manicure was an hour and 20 minutes long. It took FOREVER. I've gotten dip manicures MANY times. I appreciate the time he took to make sure he was doing quality work but this was just excessive. Part of the appeal of a dip manicure is that there is very little drying time on the final coat. There is no UV light, and it dries quickly. My regular place, it takes 3 minutes, and they rub your shoulders while you are "drying." My manicurist here was very insistent that I sit with my hands on the hand rails on my chair for TEN minutes and not touch anything at all, including my phone. He sat across from me and played on his phone for the 10 minutes- and my nails were dry less than halfway through, but I still sat there just in case they were using some weird type of top coat that magically got messed up if I got up sooner. He said it was because "most places" do only one coat of the dip powder, and 2 coats takes longer. No, sir...I've only ever had 2 coats. It doesn't take 10 minutes to dry on this type of polish. He treated me like a child and I didn't appreciate it. And for the record, the extra time this manicure took didn't make it look any different than the quality my regular salon does in 40 minutes. He didn't even put lotion on my hands and arms when he was finished. Cuticle oil only, and then "you're all done." Also- just as a side note...you really should have a system that allows you to tip on a credit card. I've never seen a salon that doesn't have a system where you can write in your tip on top of your total. He ran my credit card and presented me with my receipt to sign and there was no line to write it in, so therefore no way to leave a tip if you don't have cash or checks. After my card was run, he told me tips were cash or check only (which I did not have), but there is no sign instructing of that. I feel really bad that I couldn't leave a tip, even as annoyed as I was with the service. Who carries cash or checks these days?! I think I'll be sticking with my regular salon...where they don't patronize you and make you feel like a freakshow...and also where time is valuable. Figure out how to streamline your services. I don't want to sit in a salon chair wasting time for no reason. read more

AMAZING PEDICURE!!! I got the $45 one and its worth every penny. That was by far the best foot massage I've ever gotten. The guy is who I had, hate I didn't get his name. I'm a travel nurse so I've had pedicures all over, and hardly ever go to the same place twice bc I'm always trying to find somewhere better. Well this place will be my regular spot as long as I'm in town. They do punch cards too so that's a win. Also, I was with a friend who also got a gel set done. This is a very well kept and clean spa. The prices are reasonable. The staff will talk if you want to or just let you relax in the massage chairs. They are great with young kids too. My daughter loved the panda seat and that her pedicure water changed colors. :). They have a great selection of polish colors but the gel polish is my favorite. i've been to Bravo many times, and have had a decent experience every time, until now. I got a gel manicure and not only did my lady take absolutely forever, but she sliced the inside of my finger nail with a nail filer on two of my fingers, it hurt so bad i had to tell her to stop. Another time, i got a gel manicure but they used regular nail polish! They had to start all over which took way longer. Let's just say i'm not going back there again. read more

And what a treat it was! Vinnie did my pedicure and she couldn't have been sweeter. All the equipment was in excellent shape and the shop was very clean. Best place in Ranchmart for mani-pedi! You can truly relax here!! It is very clean and the staff is very professional. Never pushy or rude. Employees focus on you and not each other with conversations; but if they do speak to one another in their native language, they make sure they tell you what they said. Big plus is that employees or owners don't bring their kids and have them running about like some places. Unlike the other nail salons in the area, this one takes credit cards for purchases (although you can only tip in cash or check). A great polish assortment. read more

After trying this place over and over, I finally had my "fill." It's supposed to be a relaxing experience, and it's far from it at Bravo. The pedicure technicians are too rough, and the last time I was in there, although I was the ONLY client, one technician did my pedicure, while another did my manicure at the same time!!! And she was a snot. I became a contortionist to oblige the manicurist. It was dreadful...not only because it was uncomfortable but because the concentration was not on ME, the client, but on THEM for their convenience. I give them a zero for personal attention and service. Bravo is getting a little full of themselves, and you're mediocre at best. The crowning blow is when they ask you to leave the "payable to" line on a check BLANK!!! Hmmmmmm...suspicious if you ask me. I went to a different place today that had many positive reviews on Yelp. This salon used to be great. I had always enjoyed getting my pedicures here and have taken my daughters to do the same. The last year or two they have continually declined and really aren't even friendly. If you complain about something they pretty much refuse to fix it. This salon does not have the best service. They were quick to help us when we walked in, but they did not engage in conversation with us whatsoever. My nails were bulky and poorly shaped. The color was no where near how the sample looked and the stylist noticed this but did not change anything. My nails dried oddly and I had to have the topcoat redone which took over 20 minutes. Throughout my time the stylist continued to fidget with my hands which made for a very uncomfortable and definitely not relaxing experience. The entire process was $40 which is a reasonable price for having dipped nails but my service did not compare to the pricing. I will not be returning. read more

This is the only place I go for pedicures or manicures. This is the FIRST place I have ever found where all of the employees are consistently good at what they do, not just the owner. W/hen a leg/foot massage is advertised, that is exactly what you get. It feels SO nice, and it's not just a 5 second rubbing of the legs with lotion. I LOVE that you get a complimentary drink and I love the professional feel of the place. So relaxing, and they've just added Panda chairs for the little ladies in your life to come and get a pedicure! We are going today, actually. My girls are crazy about this place. Highly recommended.
