It's either too busy, or the truck isn't at the location when I try to stop by. Just a warning: Parking can be a mess. Ordered the chicken special (quarter chicken w/ baked bean), rib special (2 pieces of ribs with Mac N' Cheese, and green beans), and a turkey leg. Asked for sauce on the side. That set me back about $32. Took about 5-10 minutes to get the order, and paid. The turkey leg was the only thing that I "enjoyed". My wife didn't care for anything. Ribs and Chicken didn't hit the spot. Baked beans had cinnamon in it - I actually like that. Mac N Cheese was a total miss. The green beans had to be canned and the seasoning used was too salty for my taste. In addition - The meat portion was quite limited. King of BBQ is still on Blanding and 103rd, for now (NOT the green pineapple shack). There's also BBQ joints opposite sides of this place on Lane, and unfortunately I would prefer to go to one of those places over this one.

We came in on a Wednesday evening. We asked about the menu and were told at the counter that it was Wing Wednesday and the wings were $1 each. Well how could we not add those onto our order. We ordered a Burnt Ends platter with mac and cheese, and corn nuggets, a Brisket Platter with corn nuggets and beans. We also ordered a large mac for my son and a side of lean brisket. For the wings we ordered the Cajun ranch. Our food started coming out in about 5 minutes. Firstly, I was shocked at the wings. I love wings, but they aren't something I usually order often as I find them just OK. There are only a couple places that I visit specifically for wings. Well, let me tell you, I would make a visit back just for these wings. OMG, the Cajun ranch was simply amazing, really addictive. They were my favorite item. We devoured them. The burnt ends were very good. I appreciate they are big chunks of brisket with no pull pork filler. The flavor was amazing as well and the bits of fat melted in our mouth. The corn nuggets were fine and the Mac N Cheese was quite tasty. We enjoyed the meal so much, were were trying to figure out somewhere for a family lunch the next Sunday and came back again. This time my sister, son and I brought my dad. We of course ordered more wings and burnt ends and brisket with lots of Mac N Cheese. The food really is something special. The wings are absolutely wonderful and the burnt ends are a hit. This is definitely one of my new favorite restaurants and will always be on my list of visits to enjoy when I come back to Jax.

The turkey was moist and perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of smokeiness. The sides were pretty good as well. Beans weren't too sweet and mac & cheese weren't dry or too cheesy. Overall the flavors were on point and made me forget about my corn nuggets disappointment real quickly. The service was quick but they weren't very personable. They arrived at my office at 11:30 am but within an hour they were already out of the mac and cheese. The price was a tad high but luckily my company paid for 1/2 of it.

First yes there's a TreeMendous BBQ restaurant by the same name located at 8927 Herlong Road - same great food and service here like the restaurant. Second there's another food truck with a slightly different name "TreeMendous Sea and Soul Food" - good stuff as well but entirely different menu. TreeMendous BBQ Express serves up a delicious mobile menu of lunch BBQ plates - sandwich, lunch and dinner portions. You can pick from Beef, Pork, Turkey, Robs and Chicken and a slew of sides - baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad, Mac-n-cheese, and French fries. All sandwiches served with 1 side and drink. I chose the Chicken Feast BBQ Sandwich meal with Mac-n-cheese. The pulled chicken BBQ sandwich was very savory and perfectly cooked with a soft sesame seed bun. The Mac-n-cheese was tasty cheesy and definitely not "from the box." A couple things that were evident: food is quality and this is reflected in the meats that are smoked daily and the homemade sides. Today they rolled into my office parking lot with an oxtail special, a plate loaded with fall-apart oxtails, jerk rice, green beans, and cornbread. I added mac and cheese because a good carb plan requires commitment. Plastic utensils seemed like a bad match for oxtails, but these bones surrendered at the slightest nudge. The meat was rich and silky, full of flavor, and entirely too good for a desk lunch. The sides were no afterthought. The mac and cheese was creamy and indulgent, the green beans properly seasoned, the jerk rice fragrant and bold though a few grains resisted the bite, and the cornbread leaned sweet, closer to cake than bread, in a way that felt like dessert was already built in. You could pass by this truck without a second glance, but you'd miss a meal that demands your attention. 4.5 out of 5 stars Soul food this good deserves a table, not a parking lot.

Everyone was absolutely raving about the flavors of every dish on the menu. The birthday party wouldn't have been as great without them.
