Instead of honoring the transparent terms we established upfront, the finance department took advantage of the situation, knowing I was too fatigued after hours of waiting to walk away and start the process over elsewhere. While I have the vehicle for the next 24 months, the lack of internal alignment, back-office pricing shifts, and disregard for a customer's time and circumstances guarantee that I will never do business with this location again. We initially were made aware of Nerger's from Costco after purchasing new tires there. We have always trusted those businesses affiliated with Costco since they vet them all pretty well. Therefore we made an appointment and asked them to conduct an extensive review of our Rogue. Our dealer had just given us an estimate and it seemed too steep in price. We took the car to Nerger's and had them balance and align the car with its new tires, we had them do the work they uncovered that needed to be done, including fixing some poor workmanship that the dealer had performed earlier in the year. All of this work was done and it didn't cost as much as the dealer would have done which was less work. Beyond all this, they provided personal transportation back to my house since it would require an overnight to receive the parts (no extra charge). The bottom line is that we found a reliable repair shop for our vehicles and have been talking them up to our friends.

I wanted to test drive them and was told after she ran my credit to get an idea of what I can afford. I told them ahead of time the range of my credit score and was told no problem . We go in and I sit for an hour with her. She runs my credit and comes back to me with the monthly payment and a 2000.00 down payment. I still was not given a car fax report nor was I allowed to test drive either car. She wanted me to purchase that day but I told her I had to come back over the weekend with the money for down payment. I was told I would be able to test drive and get the car fax. I get a text and a call over the week asking me if I was still interested. I told them the car I wanted to purchase and they gave me an appt. We get there and the car now has a dent in the door that wasn't there before. So I asked about the second car we looked at that had the engine light on and was told she didn't know if it was still on because the mechanic wasn't in. So there was new car that was the same type but didn't have sticker on it. I inquired about it. She went in and brought the key out. My son had come with me because he knows about cars. He turned it on and we asked to test drive it. She immediately wanted the car shut off and wanted us to come inside. I asked why? They then act like they were going to run my credit again and I told them no because I didn't want them lowering my credit again when I was told by her I was already preapproved. They did it anyway. She wanted access to my bank accounts. Some man whom I never met was there, he asked an employee to put the sticker info in the car we were interested in and got upset when we were looking at it. He then came over and stated he wouldn't approve me for either car. Not the one we originally came in for with the dent which they acted like was not there or the one with the engine light on. They wasted another hr running my credit again after I told them not too and I was treated like I was delusional for thinking I was preapproved when I was told the price range of car I could buy. I should have known not to trust them when I found out that the price they had listed online was not the real price but the price for the down payment I would not recommend them at all. I would give them a half a star for lying, wanting to get into my bank account on my phone, and wasting my time.
