Initially, I came on here with some complaints about work that was done on my car a little over a year ago. One of the managers reached out to me and had me bring my car back in and I'm pleased to report that my issues have been resolved! I don't complain a lot on here. I'm one of those people that likes to review stuff that I love! However, auto body work is expensive and it's important you pick the right place first time around. Was in communication with me when needed. I certainly left with a smile because of how well my car came back to me. They even did a great job washing it before I picked it up. Amazing work and customer service. I was hit 2 times in 1 week by uninsured motorist. I was referred to Andre's by my coworker and they took care of me from the minute we talked. They came and picked up my car from my house because it was not drivable then worked with my insurance immediately to get the estimate. They gave me a timeline and my car was done 1 day before estimated timeline. The insurance quoted them and amount that was using all aftermarket parts but when I asked that they only use OEM they honored my request. My car came out looking better than before it was hit. Horrible, Horrible. I am a single, female, senior citizen who was treated horribly by the workers and worse, terrible, terrible work on my car. It was involved in a collision, passenger side. Andres' shop was approved by the insurance company, so I went there. One of the lies they told me was that the at-fault-driver did not hit my tires. Anyone could see from the accident that they both had been hit. Given that, I was still told my car was safe to drive. The rubber from one of my, fairly new, tires was so rubbed off by being hit that it ballooned up and went flat while I was driving on the frwy. I could have been killed if I had not been driving slow in the slow lane and able to get to the shoulder, asap. Andres installed molding that fell off, did not replace damaged molding from around the window from the used door they installed, scratched my hood, did not completely cover the doors old paint color, Replaced the quarter panel so a large ugly bolt showed from the outside, installed hub caps that kept coming loose and required me to push back in after each short trip. My car did not make sounds, crunches, groans, scraping sounds before the collision and now does. They did not correct that. I now suffer from PTSD from the collision, the bad work on my car, not feeling safe driving my car, and Andres' employee's treatment of me. Oh, yes, they took my expensive 3 yr battery out and replaced it with a bad cheap one that caused my car to stall when I tried to start it. They said mine was bad. Ok, so why not give it back to me when I picked my car up? It still had 1.5 yrs left on the warranty. I asked for it back. While it was being put back in my car, I walked my dog. When I came back the man was stooped down by the tire. The next day the tire started to go flat and was flat the second day. I called my road-side assistance and the man who came to change that flat for me found a slit in it. He said it looked like someone had slit it for a slow air release. Not accusing, but, Coincidence? I came for a free estimate maybe a couple years back and put my information on paper, a lil while later my insurance tells me that there was a claim made and I didn't even do anything as far as repairing I literally came in just for a estimate . So me being the nice person I am I give second chances because hey maybe there was just a misconception , so I just came in today for another quote for a separate issue and didn't put all my info this time to just avoid the same issue happening again and other shops all around the area were able to give me an estimate with the general info . The owner was getting mad at me that I didn't want to put my unnecessary information down and I explained to him the issue I had last time , he literally starts yelling at me and tells me to get out of his store . I'm not generally one to jump on yelp and write a review, but this felt like a healthier venue to voice my frustration than calling a number they DON'T answer, and speaking to a technician who DOESN'T give a shit about your grievances. This place has now had our Toyota Sienna going on TWO months after an accident (that wasn't out fault), seeing as good ol' Mercury sent us to them as their local recommended shop. Who the hell knows why at this point... Week after week they have put off us getting our car back with one contradictory excuse after the next. My husband as been the one to deal with communication with them, and they have obviously taken his patience and agreeable nature as a free pass to keep prioritizing anything and everything other than getting our car finished. Seeing that it was promised almost a month ago at this point, you could say I was a little fed up when I was told ONCE AGAIN, that our car we were supposed to FINALLY get tomorrow, is now being put off until "sometime next week". If I had a dollar for every time we were told "some time next week" by this place....well it would certainly soften the blow of having to deal with the flippant customer service they are providing. At the moment we have a rental; however our van is a hybrid, and our rental is not. Its no secret that gas right now is astronomical; and with all of the mileage we do on a daily basis with 3 kids, the price of gas alone is killing us. I don't think its asking too much of an establishment to follow through with the timeline THEY themselves give you. I can even be flexible with a speed bump here or there that puts that off a little. However, week after week....excuse after excuse (often contradicting the one they gave previously) comes off as a flaky, dishonest, disregard for your customers. I have gotten a quote from this place before and even though my insurance company chose another shop, I didn't forget how helpful and competitive their prices were. So recently, I was driving on the 14 freeway, and a big truck's tire rubber had flown off and hit my car. Of course, I was not able to determine which truck it was so I just kept driving until I got home and was able to see the damage. My front driver's side bumper had separated. I knew that I would have to pay for the repair and I remembered Andre's Auto Repair. When I arrived, I was greeted by Carlos. He told me that he would be right out to look at it once I told him what happened. He then took the bottom of the "plastic" bumper and pushed it back in place. And when he realized that a screw had fallen out, he replaced it. After my surprise, I thanked him and asked how much did I owe him, and he said that he would not charge me. I am guessing because it was an easy fix, but to me it was more than that. He didn't have to do that. His helpfulness, friendliness, and fairness is uncommon these days. They cut corners to minimize their work while charging their costumers top dollar. Never the type to write reviews, but I had to make a yelp account for this.. Got into an accident and needed some work done to the upper grille and this is how this so called body shop released my vehicle back to me on 17March2023, I am now writing this review on 24September2023. My car was in the shop for a week and little to no work was done as the damage was to the upper grille, not sure why they needed the vehicle for that long. No updates throughout the week and when I went to the pick it up, front grille was gone and was told multiple times that there was a backlog of about 5 weeks at Honda for my front grille, So I waited of course as I understood. Followed up around the 7 week mark and seems they had no idea that I was talking about, hit me with the same excuse that Honda is in a backlog. Followed up with them about two weeks later, same excuse and seems there is no progress. Multiple follow ups later I am STILL waiting on my grille for an accident that happened in February. I do not have time to be chasing down employees to do their jobs, completely ridiculous. Was curious on how much they'd charge for a minor chip on the hood and they hit me with a $900 estimate, compared to a shop that did it for fourth the price and quality was impeccable. Andre's body shop is clearly able to profit off insurance claims and it's customers without doing the actual work and lacking professionalism. I will not be bringing my car back to this scummy shop after they provide me with my grille, please do yourself a favor and take your precious time and money to a hard working shop that deserves it, would rate 0 if I could. read more

I was rear ended on the freeway and the at fault driver's insurance sent me to this shop. I work and go to school so my schedule is very limited. I made my drop off appointment for as early as I could which was 8 am. I had to drop my car off and get to the rental place ASAP to get to school on time. At 8:20 someone finally showed up and made me wait an extra 5 minutes. That was strike one. My car was finished on schedule and the repairs were well done, so I thought. within a week one of the reflectors on the "new" bumper they put on had fallen off. I called to inform the shop of the issue they said they could just order the reflector and pop it on. So I went back a second time when my schedule allowed only to find out that they couldn't just "pop it on" I was informed at that time that they had ordered and after market bumper and that's why the newly ordered reflector couldn't be put on and they would have to order a whole new bumper and call me when that came in and it would be about an hour job to replace. strike 2. a month went by with no call. I finally called them to follow up only to be told once again that they could screw the reflector on. I went back for a third time, it took them 30 minutes to screw one little reflector on. I was astonished at the amount of back and forth this shop caused me. As I said I work and go to school full time so making extra trips up the freeway isn't easy on my schedule especially since this shop has no weekend hours and apparently do not hold to their opening time even when someone schedules an appointment. I'm glad I don't have mercury because if they tried to send me to this shop again I'd change carriers. This shop added so much extra stress and frustration to my accident. I'm just glad everything is said and done and I don't have to go back. read more

I have used Andre's twice in the past ten years. The first time I fell asleep on the highway and side swiped a semi. My little mitsubishi was pretty messed up. I took it to two other places for estimates before going to Andre's. I used them at the time because they were who my insurance used. They did a great job, any mechanical issues resulting from the crash were resolved and cosmetic wise you couldn't even tell I'd been in an accident. They did the work quickly too and were really nice every time I came in. The second time was in 2011 with a different car. I managed to lose both my side mirrors on my Ford fusion. I went to Telesis and they quoted me around $300 for parts and labor. I went to Andre's and not only did they find me cheaper but similar quality mirrors, they didn't even charge me labor for it since it was an easy fix. I ended up getting both mirrors replace for just under $90! Travis helped me with everything he was super nice and they did the work quickly while myself and my two children waited. In both instances they were less expensive than the other places I'd gotten quotes from. They had great customer service (especially the last time) and did quality work in a timely manner. We are returning customers, only I did not know it! I had a spin out in San Francisquito Cyn on the way in to work. I had no idea my bumper was broken apart. I took my car immediately to a place in Valencia, but they said they needed to know how I was going to pay (either personal payment or go through my insurance). The problem was, I did not know if there was more unseen damage under the car, so I could not make that decision. This other Body Shop (a chain), said they would not even look under the car until I signed paperwork on how I was going to pay. Something told me not to leave my car with them! My Husband immediately urged me to bring the car to Andre's Auto Body/Paint in Palmdale (as we had two previous cars worked on there, only I did not remember, as my Husband had taken them there, years before). I'm so thankful that I did!!!!! I was blown away at how my car looked. After a small wreck we were referred to Andre's by Mercury Insurance. I negotiated to get our roof repainted as well as the body work. I was expecting to see the paint blending but it was seamless. Andre's even threw in a repair of a small unrelated ding in the door and had the car detailed. It has never looked as good. So I got into a little accident last weekend and had a huge dent on my bumper, I have been looking for a trustworthy shop that can give me reasonable price so I went on yelp and wrote down the top 5 high ratings shops in the area, first shop gave me a quote of 1100 bucks, one is 800, then 500 and this is the 4th shop where my boyfriend brought my car and guess what,! They were willing to do it for free!!! I was really hesitant about it and was even arguing with my boyfriend, because really it's too good to be true!!! We even offer to atleast pay him something but he refused to! Like what's the catch? How did I go from 1 grand to free service!!? But then again I don't really know how these mechanics work all I know is that they tend to over price everything!! Anyway, despite of my uncertainties, I told my bf to just take the deal and we'll see what happens. It took them less than 20 minutes to fix my car and you can't even tell the damaged! They have horrible customer service. Got into an accident and I was referred to them by my car insurance company. They replaced the left headlight which was a complete unnecessary task. The headlight was completely fine. The paint job was done ok, but it could have been better. The liner they installed under the drivers side fender over the wheel was done horribly. It looked like a 5th grader just stapled it to the roof of the fender. And to top it all off, I get my car back and my alarm doesn't work anymore. I called them to discuss the issue and they stated they never touched the alarm system and that I probably broke it myself. Clearly I did not do so and they must have disconnected a wire when installing the unnecessary headlight. They are liars and I would not recommend ANYONE to take their vehicle to this place. read more
