Wow! I received same-day service. My dealership quoted me a price for axle replacement, but Auto…read moredid the job for $800 less. I dropped off my car, and Mark quickly called me back to explain what was needed and provided an estimated cost. By 4:30 PM, it was ready! I hope the mechanic stayed warm--I happened to choose one of the coldest days in Austin for my service. When I arrived at 6 PM, right at closing, Mark still took the time to explain the issue and how it was fixed. Thank you for your excellent service! I'll be recommending you to everyone. In fact, I found out about you through a friend who goes to All Tune Auto.

Most of the time, getting your car repaired is an onerous task. Finding a real mechanic is…read moredifficult as most shops today focus on parts replacement rather than real diagnosis. And who among us has not felt they were taken advantage of when the bill arrives? Yup, unless you're mechanically inclined, it can be tough to know if the repairs are legitimate. After getting suspiciously high repair estimate from my friendly local dealer (whose name I won't mention to protect the guilty), I looked for a second opinion and found All Tune on Yelp. They were busy but were able to get me into the shop a week later. Well, it took all of 15 minutes to determine that I didn't need any of the recommended repairs. All Tune took the time to show me the parts in question and treated me respectfully. They also looked up my service schedule and let me know when I would really need to perform maintenance. Even more, they didn't charge me for their time. I'll be bringing my car back to All Tune when I need service. These guys are the real deal, the bomb. Thank you All Tune! Highly highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about Lamb's Tire & Automotive. I had just driven in from Dallas…read morethe night before and don't live in Austin, so I had no idea where to go or what to expect when my Tesla started making this awful noise--like it was dragging a bunch of empty cans underneath. It was loud, embarrassing, and honestly pretty stressful. But as usual, Austin showed up with that signature Texas charm. They took me in immediately, had someone look at it right away, and fixed the issue in under 10 minutes. No hassle, no upsell, no runaround--just quick, honest help. And the best part? They didn't even charge me. Everyone there was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful. It's rare to find a place that treats you that well, especially when they could have easily charged for the time. If you're anywhere near Austin and need automotive help, this is the place to go. Fast, honest, and truly customer-focused. I'll absolutely be coming back here any time I'm in town.

I brought my 2004 jeep liberty to this shop yesterday for a simple oil change and tire rotation…read more This car is in PERFECT condition. The tires have perfect tread. I drive my car today to find my back right tire completely BUSTED. I take the car to the shop and I'm told it could only be the possibility's of a nail or just bad luck. NO. My tire is completely ruined because the shop either did not rotate them properly or they were just careless. Or even worse this could've been a manipulative way to get more money out of me and they did it on purpose. I have no way of proving the fact that I know it's the shop's fault and they are trying to make me pay $200 to fix it. If a nail had busted the tire, then it would've only deflated. If I would've hit a curb, then I would've known! My father died last year and passed this car down to me. He made sure it was in perfect condition and I only wanted to continue that coming to this shop yesterday. My tire is completely ruined hours after leaving an auto shop and the shop wants to convince me they had nothing to do with it? Um no. To have the tire ruined by someone and have it blamed on "luck" is just a lie and beyond devastating. I do not recommend bringing your car to this establishment if it's as special as this one is to me.

The most honest mechanics I have ever worked with. I have taken my car here twice for brake pad…read morereplacements and both times they were transparent about what services I needed, and they will take the time to fully explain to you why they recommend the services that they do. Recently I came in to replace the rear brake pads because my Mini Cooper gave an automatic warning to replace them based on mileage. I brought it to Auto 7 Tech; rather than simply replacing the pads they inspected it and actually told me that the pad thickness was fine and that I didn't need to replace them yet - the prioritized being honest over getting me to pay for potentially unnecessary service. However when I went to pick my car up, they let me know that they had inspected more closely and found that the inner surface on the left pad was indeed worn down. I appreciate this attention to detail and transparency. I also asked them if I needed to replace the rotors, and they told me that they had driven the car around and concluded that the rotors didn't need replacement (in contrast two other shops insisted on bundling the pad replacement and the rotor replacement). In my experience Auto 7 also gives very fair pricing compared to other shops. At Auto7 they will inspect your car carefully and thoroughly before recommending service, and they will not try to upsell you or take advantage of you.

I started checking in, and the worker asked if I wanted to add tire rotation. I said yes, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. While I waited for them to finish, I decided to take a walk and browse the stores around the area. Fast forward to 10 AM, and I returned to find my car still in the same spot. I was a bit upset to see that it hadn't been worked on yet. I went to get a status update with the manager, and he asked if I had an appointment. I told him I had one at 8 AM. He then started looking for my appointment on his computer and told me he couldn't find it. I pulled out my phone to show him the reservation, but he still said he was having trouble finding it. His coworker chimed in and told him the number of the appointment. He then said that they had cars from overnight that they were working on first. I would have understood if this had been communicated to me when I arrived at 8 AM, but it wasn't. So, I waited for 3.5 hours, and my car was finally done at 11:25 AM. I paid and left with my invoice emailed to me. Please don't come here. They don't care about customer service or setting expectations. If an oil change takes 3 hours, they should at least communicate that to the customer. Many of us don't want to spend all day at an auto shop on our day off, especially since this was just for an oil change. To add to this experience, it was raining, and instead of parking my car in the covered area in front of the shop, they parked it in the parking lot. I will not be returning to any Firestone in Austin. This is the second store location I have tried, and I have left extremely disappointed. They don't respect your time, and if you arrive early, even if it's just three minutes before your appointment, they should also respect your time as you have respected there time by arriving early or in time
