"We take credit cards," he said. I sent him on his way and called ARG Locksmith. Had a phone call and text exchange with Nicole, who assured me that they could do much better. Gus was professional, helpful, and kind. He took the lock apart and found fragments of a small broken spring jamming up the works. He removed it, cleaned and lubricated the inside, tested the mechanism, and had me turn the key and the interior knob several time to ensure that I was satisfied with the repair. The cost was ARG's minimum service fee -- a fraction of what the other guy quoted me -- and the lock glides like new. Gus even apologized for the poor treatment I had received from the first locksmith. He assured me that he was available 24/7 if I needed further help. ARG not only repaired my lock and saved me hundreds but also restored my faith in the goodness of people. I have the utmost respect for those who take pride in their work and do business fairly. For not doing a damn thing. I might understand the $35 travel fee, but the guy tacked on $35 for labor. He worked on the lock for 5 minutes!!! And DIDN'T FIX IT! Avoid at all cost. I'm surprised these guys are not facing a lawsuit, judging by all of the people they've been pissing off.

This company needs to be shut down YESTERDAY.
