LB coffee is a great local neighborhood coffee shop on the upper east side. It's a fairly small spot with very limited seating inside and a couple of tables outside. A limited assortment of pastries to purchase. They have dog treats available as well. The coffee is locally roasted while also offering speciality drinks and teas. read more

What a great addition this coffee shop is to the Upper east side. I went on their soft opening day and have been coming back ever since. It is small but has such cozy vibes and there is a little sitting area where you can enjoy your coffee, Tea and pastries. They have added a little area on the back wall its a mini library. Customers can bring books to add to it. What a fun idea. The baristas who work here are some of the nicest people and the owners here are super nice and friendly. They also have very little out door seating. They also make amazing coffee drinks. And if you want flavors they use wonderful tasting syrups to make that happen. I have bought a mint iced latte here which tasted like holiday in a cup! It was super good. I have also bought cappuccinos from here. Super tasty! Absolutely one of my favorite coffees in the UES! I got a caramel latte and it came out super quick after ordering. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me as someone that doesn't usually go for a bitter latte. The touch of caramel wasn't super overpowering either. I'm a big fan of this new spot! The caramel latte I got was perfectly made and I enjoyed the atmosphere while I waited. They have some room to sit and a little free library. LB means my heart in Arabic and you can definitely feel the love in this quaint meticulously designed upper east side neighborhood coffee shop! I am the world's happiest coffee drinker since I tried the coffee at LB Coffee in the UES. I passed LB many times going to and from from the gym on the weekends but decided to go in recently and try their coffee on a lark. Glad that I did. They not only didn't disappoint, the coffee exceeded my expectations. It was the best coffee I've had in NYC. Although I can't boast that I've tried them all, I have tried plenty, from good, bad, ugly, and forgettable to exceptional. LB Coffee is first place, the blue ribbon. I am a cortado-drinking person and the cortado was smooth, silky, and well prepared. I was tempted to buy some coffee beans but I am not worthy. My barista skills are not of that caliber and it would be a waste of good coffee beans married with mediocre skills. Great job. Keep up the good work. read more

If you're in the Upper East Side, do yourself a favor and stop by LB Coffee Shop. The coffee is consistently excellent, but what really makes this place special is Brooke. She is an outstanding barista, friendly, welcoming, and incredibly skilled. I finally tried this coffee spot after always seeing it so busy on the weekends, and I'm so glad I did! I got a strawberry iced latte with almond milk and the cheddar chive biscuit, and both were SO yummy. The staff was super friendly too, which made the experience even better. Oh my god... the zaatar croissants! Absolutely decadent and very dangerous for my waist. lol. To top it off their coffee was unlike any I've had recently and delicious. One of the owners was there and they were so kind and thoughtful. Definitely will be back soon! read more
