Awesome neighborhood grab-and-go spot! I come here almost every morning for a breakfast sandwich and iced latte. I get a bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant and it is insanely good! Generous, warm, and tasty. The service is also so quick and friendly. They recognize me as a regular Not a place you can sit and eat -- it's just grab and go! Also, if you're looking for a high end bakery, this isn't the place for you. This is more of a quick grab and go! read more

The bagel was the highlight of this coffeeshop. It was very creamy and warm; would recommend this as a breakfast option on the go. We ordered a dirty chai and an earl grey tea latte. They were piping hot but not all that flavorful. The service was quick and efficient; there was only one staff member working. This is an in-and-out style cafe. There is not seating available and the shop is small to wait inside. Menu is rather limited compared to other coffeeshops in the area and pricing was higher than other locations, too. read more

Everyone here is sooooooo friendly! You can't come here and not leave with a smile on your face. It starts your day off right. A perfect cute local neighborhood spot to grab and go and get tour coffee or iced coffee . I haven't had a chance yet to try their food but from the other reviews it looks like it's awesome! Small and cute place for coffee/tea, smoothies, and sandwiches. Family owned from the looks of it. They made hearty sandwiches. The avocado tomato and egg was 6.50 and frankly was like a lunch portion. The ham cheese and egg too was quite big. We ordered two and had half each with a latte each and were done for lunch :) Will certainly be back for quick breakfasts. read more

I've been in here so many times I can't believe I never did a review. The muffins and scones are so good. I paid $3.50 for a huge Chocolate Chip Scone for breakfast. The two ladies behind the counter are always pleasant and friendly. It's a busy place so get what you came for and move on! The space is small but people used to sit inside. Too tiny a space for me. I got an iced latte with oat milk, and unfortunately this coffee just doesn't really compare to the other local shops' lattes. The taste and consistency are both lacking. I wouldn't get the coffee here again, but I'm seeing there are good reviews for breakfast sandwiches. Might give those a try! read more

I've been out looking for a good egg and cheese sandwich and wasn't having much success until I gave JJ Brown Cup a try. I ordered an egg, Swiss and sausage on a hard roll and it was just perfect. My recent experience with ordering egg sandwiches is that they have been flavorless. I don't know how someone manages that - but it's been happening constantly. The sandwich I picked up from this place was the exact opposite with the taste of the Swiss being clear and the sausage adding a perfect compliant. I am just so happy to have found this place. Take note - this is purely a take out space. There is no place to sit - and as the name implies, it's primarily a coffee joint (and I personally don't drink coffee) but despite this - if they can make an egg sandwich like the one I had today on a repeat basis, I'll definitely be back for more! read more

This small cafe is a NYC gem. Hidden amongst the other stores it offers from coffee, to muffins, to delicious freshly made breakfast sandwiches and more. The bread is fresh and each of my friends bragged about how soft and tasty their sandwiches were. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. read more

What a great little place! About the size of a phonebooth but lots to choose from in here. Coffees, smoothies, iced drinks, snacks pastries, sandwiches, etc. Such a welcome edition to the neighborhood, especially when the only places to get coffee up here is Dunkin Doughnuts and Starbucks. Dropped in yesterday and had a large house blend coffee for only $2. It was actually very tasty. Iced coffee is terrific too. Friendly staff that is so nice - I think it is family run. I love little places like this. read more

Great place to stop for some some coffee and a sandwich on the way to the park! I got the chicken pesto sandwich on ciabatta and it was really great. It came with a little orange slice on the side and was wrapped up and boxed well. The iced hazelnut latte was delicious too! And the woman working at the counter was friendly. read more

I ordered a ham, egg and cheese on a bagel and the power green smoothie. The bagel sandwich is what it is, just a bit bland could use a sauce. The smoothie tastes exactly as described and it was fresh. The service was great they were very friendly and kind and quick given how busy they were at the time. read more

Hands down the worst coffee I have ever had. Watered down, Bizzarre aftertaste. The coffee is not freshly brewed. Kept in a flask. Tasted old. Couldn't drink more than a single sip. Went back to talk to them about my disappointment. They turned away and didn't care. Stay away! read more

I used to love this little place, I make sure to pay attention to tiny little places to make sure Starbucks doesn't take over every corner of our beautiful city (just every other corner haha) but have to start making juice at home. Perhaps they r friendly but not really part of our neighborhood - I was there every day n then forgot my water bottle on the way to the gym- so figured they knew me, right? Wrong!!!! No water for u!!! Sorry!!! That defeats the purpose of tiny holes in the wall like this one- it should be personal and close knit and be part of a neighborhood. They only care about making a profit while saving on rent. This little hole in the wall can go back to where it came from!!!! Just a quick update on the fresh juice front.... I've been on a bet with a cousin that neither of us would drink coffee for a month (why did I agree to that?), and so I've been getting a fresh juice here instead. Look, as long as you start with good ingredients, and you have blend suggestions that aren't completely squirrely, a fresh juice is a fresh juice is a fresh juice. Which is to say, their fresh juice is good - but you can get that anywhere. But do you know what really takes this up a notch? The first time I ordered a juice, it was really hot out. The girl juicing my beets/carrots/apples asked if I would like it shaken with ice to cool it down, since it was so hot out. YES PLEASE. Also? No other juice place I've been to has taken that extra step. Anticipating the customer's needs - not just meeting the ones they're voicing - is the hallmark of a good business. So y'all are going here, right? RIGHT? Don't disappoint me, UESers. read more

Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

They are running a really interesting under the counter espresso machine where the main bulk of the equipment is hidden away, leaving just these sleek, minimal group heads rising up from the counter. This place is awesome! It took me a while to try it because it looks kind of boring and unassuming from the outside. They don't really have a theme like many of the other places in the neighborhood. However, the theme really is: Delicious Food and Drink With Friendly and Fast Service at Reasonable Prices! I love the iced green tea which is nice and strong, unlike many other places. The Americano is as good as Hutch & Waldo's single source espresso one. The scones are tasty and huge. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. Get the avocado, tomato, and egg for a big breakfast or lunch. I love that I'm supporting a local small business, but that's not why I go here. I go here because it really is my favorite spot for a quick breakfast and drink. read more

i found this place by accident, as it turns out they have great juices and know why they're good for you. the real reason i keep going back though is the quality of their sandwiches. they make the best steak sandwich i've ever had for ten bucks. what makes it so great is that it's honest to goodness actual choice steak with a mild garlic mayo. it's simple. clean and super fresh. great products, knowledgeable (family) staff, and great service. i think this place is pretty much a perfect neighborhood coffee, juice, sandwich joint. read more

Yes! I found a coffee place to go and I'll say goodbye to Starbucks. Staffs are friendly and nice. I guess their Korean and they owned this store. I have to admit that the space is tiny, but if u just wanna take a break and read some news. This is definitely enough for ur needs. A good place to chill with ur friends. read more
