Really great fruit basket, thank you! Thank you for holding the doors, really enjoyed the concierge. Shoutout to the personable pool bartender. If you stay here, take a look at the special, super large book of art photographs by Annie Leibowitz. There was some odd, loud construction downstairs when we showed up. I guess it had to happen during the day but it lasted all day. Also I'm so confused. The restaurant off the lobby was so bad. Our original waiter was horrible, we were only given tap water (oh man I sound like such a douche), but seriously, there wasn't even a choice given and there wasn't one place, even the most casual of places that didn't offer Spring Water. If it wasn't for a charming conversation with Nabiel that we had, I would have blasted this place. Perhaps this restaurant and the hotel are not related? I was so confused that what seemed like a L'Ermitage restaurant got stellar Yelp reviews so we went and it was horrible. Like, the bread, the food... if I was at The House of Pancakes I would have set my expectations differently but it was portrayed as a quality restaurant. So, maybe it was our bad and we ate at a different place than the people that reviewed the L'Ermitage restaurant went and the one attached and open to the lobby was the wrong place. Five stars for the hotel, two for the restaurant. I'll round up bc Nabiel saved the day.

We attended a work event at the Poza rooftop swimming pool bar. The area is spacious and the seating is very comfortable. They were serving us wine but I opted for the mixed hard drinks which I could order from three selections on the menu. The comped mix drinks were Fuego Dulce, Bali Hai, and Tierra Verde which were all delicious and costing 25 bucks each. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere with the various views of the city.

Our love story with L'Ermitage began 11 years ago. My husband and I had our wedding reception here on April 11, 2014--and since then, this hidden gem in Beverly Hills has felt like home. Hands down, the best staycation spot there is! L'Ermitage is the kind of luxury that whispers rather than shouts. Every time we return, we're met with warmth, elegance, and a personalized experience that always feels special. The staff goes above and beyond--genuinely kind, attentive, and thoughtful without ever being overbearing. The suites are spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. It's the little touches that stand out each time we stay or dine at the restaurant--details that never go unnoticed. We're especially grateful for Delidji Gbaguidi, the Director of Operations, who truly does it all with grace and excellence. From serene balcony views to the indulgent turn-down service, every part of the experience is intentional. The hotel itself is peaceful, stylish, and never too crowded--a true escape tucked away in the heart of Beverly Hills, yet close to everything. We've stayed at many luxury hotels across LA, but we always find our way back to L'Ermitage. We're already looking forward to celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary here. Cheers to Year 11--and many more to come!

Such an amazing stay here with girlfriends for a girls weekend getaway! Excellent service. We booked a suite and it was gorgeous. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The closet was HUGE! The pillow on the bed even had my initials monogrammed. They have a car that took us into town for shopping which was so convenient and the bar downstairs is intimate and quaint, just what we needed. Will def be back!

We had an amazing stay. A beautiful spacious room, very quiet, very comfortable, bed and pillows . A beautiful vanity area with plenty of room to move around. The bathrooms are very spacious double sinks. We were offered multiple bottles of spring water as it was a hot day . The staff are so friendly and kind . We were lucky this day we had the privilege of having a house car take us to, and from our local destinations very nice our driver, Sasha was extremely attentive and shared his knowledge of the city. They have a Keurig coffee makers . And valet parking location is spectacular. They have a beautiful, rooftop pool and a very small fitness center.

Easily one of the best hotels I've ever been to. Service, cleanliness, location, presentation, and professionalism was incredible. What a treat experiencing this luxury hotel. Highly recommended!!

This hotel is chic, boutique and magnifique! While it appears to be underrated compared to the larger historical hotels in Beverly Hills, it does boast the Five-Star Hotel Award by Forbes Travel Guide and is ranked #1 of 21 hotels in the city on Tripadvisor, amongst a few other accolades. With being only 116 suites, it feels very exclusive and personalized. In my interactions with about 10 various employees of different levels, all were nothing short of excellent. I booked a Deluxe Classic Suite and they honored my particularities about the room location and level I wanted (located on second, third or fourth level). The back of the hotel is quiet but faces north and has the least amount of light, so I preferred a front south facing room despite being able to hear cars go by since it was right on the street (Burton Way). I also appreciated the fexible check-in/check-out policy. The bottled water, personalized card and fruit that greeted me in my room was a nice welcome. I can't remember ever having sweeter kumquats! My room was exceptionally clean and I am very particular, so much so that if I have any doubts of cleanliness I will never take a bath in a hotel's soaking tub. Here, I enjoyed a soak each night! It was divine, especially with the lovely scented Diptyque bath products. I was also happy to have a nice selection of drinks and snacks at my disposal, as I was wanting an uninterrupted two days of solitude. A half bottle of Sancerre, Sugarfina Gummies, and Amos Famous cookies were some of what I enjoyed - when in Rome! I also ordered room service for every meal and there was nothing I did not enjoy. The french imported condiments, an added treat! I am thrilled I was able to enjoy a getaway here. All my needs and expectations were surpassed.

Can't say enough about my stay at the BH Viceroy. Everyone who works there is incredibly service oriented from the front desk, pool, cafe, and engineering team. The manager himself gave me brunch options and followed up to see how I enjoyed myself. I was constantly asked if I would like water, assistance, or anything that could make my stay better. There was a wedding by the pool/roof area as well for those looking for fun venue options with a view. The hotel is also I. Walking distance from shopping and eats. Car service has a 2 mile radius, great for dinner or anything nearby. You can tell everyone cares! If you're an Amex or business traveler the hotel has some great perks as well. I'll be back!

Viceroy L'Hermitage is among a group of high end hotels in Beverly Hills. This one is on Burton Way and Foothill Drive close to the Beverly Hillls courthouse and Beverly Hills Tennis Club. Many family, friends and clients have stayed at this hotel and had great experiences. When meeting family, friends and or clients, I frequent this hotel for the amenities: rooftop pool, the lobby lounge connected to the current restaurant Avec Nous...both the pool and restaurant are COVID close until further notice. However, of the past times, my experiences were positive. Primarily, enjoy and like it's convenient location and upscale customer service. Also, it's not very touristy and more private that other hotels in BH. Lots of athletes and high profile celebrities prefer the low key yet posh amenities. Note worthy fact is Angelina Jolie's Mom took residence here for years. Also, Julia Roberts prefers this hotel for privacy and less crowds. This hotel is still operating, however, a recent article published in the LATimes revealed this swanky hotel was subject to fraud and embezzlement from the operating owners from Malaysia, specifically Mr. Jho Low, a Malaysian financier, who is a fugitive on the lam. He fraudulent dealings included fraudulent financial dealings involving the purchase of several properties with elicit funds from the Malaysian government. More details is published in the article for reference. This hotel will subsequently be auctioned next month starting at $100 million to prequalified buyers. It will sell for at least $100 million, federal representatives said Thursday, or perhaps more at an auction set for Aug. 19. Bidding has commenced in an auction of the Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills, a legendary hotel last owned by a highflying Malaysian investor now on the lam after being accused of embezzling billions of dollars from his country's government. The low-key boutique hotel has been known as a celebrity haunt for decades, where the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton and Laurence Olivier have bunked for the night and dined in its fancy French restaurant. Since it opened in 1975, the L'Ermitage has had a series of owners -- most recently the U.S. government, which moved to seized it in 2016 from Malaysian financier Jho Low. Federal investigators said Low bought the hotel and other properties, including a Hollywood Hills mansion, with money embezzled from a Malaysian government-owned fund intended to spur economic development in the Southeast Asian country. Again, Viceroy L'Hermitage Hotel is still open, but expect changes after new owners take over after the auction August 19 finalizes and close of escrow.

So wonderful!!! Wow, they went above and beyond! They remember you every time you get back to the property. Everyone was so kind and attentive. I'm so glad I found this gem. Customer service was nothing less than amazing! I mentioned we were celebrating my sons birthday, and WOW.... They went above my expectations! I could never stay anywhere else each time I come home to visit. From the valet to doorman, front desk and especially the night crew that greeted us every night as we return! This property has definitely set the bar high!

Review for hotel only. Gracious and highly attentive staff from bellmen to front desk to concierge, housekeepers and pool attendants. There is always someone right there to get you what you need! The rooms are spacious with seating area (grand king suite) and a large working desk area. Bathroom and dressing area are also quite large and well-stocked with bath supplies and with even a separate makeup/hair dressing table and bench. The interior is very clean and nothing feels worn or old. The pool is lovely and private on the rooftop. Relaxing stay with perfect Beverly Hills sunny weather!
