A Truly Fantastic Experience at L'Occitane - Citadel Outlets I stopped by L'Occitane at the Citadel while Christmas shopping with a friend, and I honestly didn't expect the visit to be this memorable. We had just finished lunch in the food court, and I dragged my friend inside to try one of the hand soaps. He was confused about washing our hands inside a store, but once he realized it's the best way to actually test a product, he was sold. He protested when I put a bit of hand cream on him (classic guy reaction), but even that turned into a funny moment. The sales team had a good laugh with us before they got busy, so we slipped out -- but my friend actually suggested we go back in to look around more, which should tell you something. We ended up being helped by Kathryn and Silvia, and they were exceptional from start to finish. Both knew the products inside out, offered honest recommendations, and were genuinely warm and personable. I'm already a longtime fan of L'Occitane's lavender hand cream -- the metal tube is iconic -- and I even convinced my friend to buy one for his wife. As an artist, he said it looked like an oil paint tube, and he wasn't wrong. Kathryn and Silvia told us about the gift-with-purchase, and then about the mystery bags -- which were an incredible deal. Full-size products, nothing discontinued, and almost $300 in value. I'm so glad they mentioned it, because we would've missed out entirely. My friend left fully stocked with gift boxes, complimentary paper, tissue, samples -- the whole nine yards. The store itself was spotless, well-organized, and easy to shop in. On top of that, I joined the rewards program, and Kathryn let me know I could even call in the future to hear about specials and have items packed and shipped if I didn't want to come back to the Citadel. That level of service is rare. Bottom line: We would not have had such a great shopping experience without Kathryn and Silvia. They made the whole visit genuinely enjoyable, and I'll happily return to this location because of them. Highly recommend this store and these two fantastic associates. read more

Had a really positive experience at L'Occitane this week. I went in there originally because I heard great things about their hand cream and because of the weather lately I needed it. They were also having a few sales since I went after Christmas. I spent a long time sampling scents and seeing what called out to me. Kathryn was the associate who greeted us and offered us some additional information. She is such a sweetheart and was very welcoming and knowledgeable. She explained products provided some recommendations and we even got some free gifts with purchase. The whole experience was wonderful and we really enjoyed the experience. My sister and I got a few hand creams and body scrubs and we left eager to try everything out. I went for the Cherry Blossom scent and have been loving it so far and look forward to testing out new products and scents from this brand. Had a very terrifying experience with a sales person named " Melissa" as we walk in we are usually greeted by a sales person and advised about any on going promotions or just merely asking how they can be of any help. Yet today I guess Melissa's universe was upside down as we entered the store there was no greeting she was the only one there on her phone and completely ignored every single customer as well as as us and it's rather bewildering as anyone could of walked in and out taking anything with her not even acknowledging the situation. After being ignored for over 30 min I asked about a product information which she then blew up as if seriously bothered by her being interrupted with her phone conversation. She snapped, screamed and yelled to get out of " her" store I then asked to speak to manager as I may relay the poor, belligerent and aggressive response and she began going wild screaming and yelling foul language as well as being defiant as if she was going to strike. The manager came out and could not restrain nor quiet her down she was frantic, psychotic and completely out of control. We left seeing the situation become violent and extremely unsafe needles to say walked out empty handed only seriously confused and for the first time feeling " not safe" by an occitane employee. Erica, the sales associate found an item I wanted from the back and did a price check without me asking her. She said it was $20 and when she handed it to me, I saw the sticker for $20. I assumed she did the price check to see if any extra discounts would apply (since this is an outlet location a lot of stores at the Citadel do this too). I bought it along with another item, totaling two items. The same sales associate rang it up at the register. Came home and looked at the receipt. I was charged for two $25 items plus tax. If the item had shown as $20 before, she must have manipulated the price when I was paying to $25. This is total fraud! Avoid this place!! read more

I went in on Monday 9/27 to buy my face cream and had a beautiful experience! I normally shop at the location in Newport Beach however I was in the area and decided to stop in. So glad I did. I unfortunately did not get the name of the assistant that was there at the time (10/11am?) but she was very helpful finding the correct face cream for me and I also purchased some body wash and she recommended a more valuable size. I found some great oil diffusers for my mountain cabins on my visit months back. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with helping select the right fragrance. Just recently, I was in need of more oil and was disappointed to see they were completely. Lisa, the manager went above and beyond to call other stores and check if they had any of the specific product I was looking for. Luckily, she located the oils at another store and set up shipping. I really appreciated the extra help and service. Lisa provided terrific service and is a great example of how a retail unit should be run. read more

Kicking on the drawer if you open it. Questioning you who told you to get the lotion from drawer. Another sales associate stays on Sophia side to against customer. Will never visit this place.
