I hired L.A. Appliance Care to repair my 20 year old Viking Grill that was no longer working. The company sent Max out to diagnose the problem, and then provided us with three repair options based on how much we were willing to do (and how much we could spend--this wasn't cheap!). Even though it was quite expensive, we had gotten other estimates and LA Appliance Care was less than the others. They then sent someone to thoroughly clean the grill, which took a few days. I really liked how they responded right away. But really made me try them out was that they were offering free estimates. I'd say that is super smart. Because average repairs will be just a few hundred bucks at most. So when they give you the estimate, the average person will be OK to fix it. Better than trashing a unit than having to go through the trouble of looking for a new one plus the days of no laundry being done. These guys were able to come quickly give the estimate quickly and repair quickly plus they were super courteous and even showed pictures of the repairs being done. It turned out to be way more work to remove the old vent hood and install the new one than expected - due to the way the old hood was installed and the angled ceiling.
