Had an issue with a couple of my California appliances... no not my car tires... anyway what I did was search on Yelp and found highly rated Mr West Repairs. I was concerned that his area did not cover where I'm located based on the Yelp map so I hesitated but ended up calling anyway. Glad I did! As he frequently goes outside the service area. We scheduled a 2-hour window and Michael showed up on time. He inspected both of my appliances.. and wouldn't you know one of them didn't show the leaking it was doing for me when he was here. Michael said the leaking in my fridge could be solved by thawing it out for 24 hours. But I opted for the quick remedy that Michael offered. As I wasn't ready for so much food that might get spoiled if I went the 24 hour route. All in all, I'm very happy with Michael and will recommend him to whoever needs an appliance repair. I called Mike based on the number of 5 star reviews here to have a look at our 14 year old Maytag electric clothes dryer which was not heating properly. We were on the verge of buying a new dryer but figured we'd see if it could be repaired. Mike came over a few hours later, on time, and determined that there was nothing wrong with the heating element in the electric dryer. It turned out that so much lint had collected inside the dryer it affected the operation of the appliance. He cleaned the lint buildup and solved the problem. Mike went above and beyond. We had a washing machine that needed the gasket replaced due to mold. Our washing machine was stuck inside a cabinet due to the gas hose length. My apologies for forgetting the technician's name, but I had the gasket replaced on my 2014 LG washing machine. It had collected about 9 years of gunk and that gunk made itself known by wafting throughout the laundry room every once in a while. The super kind tech replaced it with a new one and recommend to use those washing machine cleaning tablets every month or so. So hopefully I've extended the life of my machine...or at the very least had the tech exorcise the foul gunk demons. read more

Mike is a lifesaver! We have been having issues with our washer overflowing every other load, so we called an appliance repair company (obviously). The company gave us a three hour appointment window, and still arrived 20 minutes late. That would have been a non-issue, had they fixed the problem. They had their tech come out three different times, each time getting a more complicated (therefore expensive) diagnostic code. The estimate was over $300. Something seemed fishy, so we opted for a second opinion. We called Mr West Repairs, and they were able to get someone out (ON TIME) that same day.
