Actual authentic French food that is absolutely delicious!! Nothing else compares to the food and baked goods they offer. Which they were open on Sundays though.

I stopped by quickly to have a quick chai latte, and it was nice. I took a bunch of macaroons which I loved. Amandine was a nice pastry snack. I think it had the almond filling. Overall, I loved this place.

I love coming to La Baguette. The variety of treats are fantastic. Great place to meet up with a friend while you have delicious food. Their citron tart is a delight!

Walking into La Baguette feels like you're stepping into France. The French decor, the French music, and the amazing display of French pastries. They have a cute dining area where you can enjoy breakfast or lunch. The staff is very friendly. The menu includes traditional French cuisine including crepes, sandwiches, pastries, soup, and more. One of my favorite spots in Madison!

Good food! Prices are a little bit high, and the shopkeepers can be a little bit cranky, but I guess that's expected of the French ha ha. They have a lot of good pastries that are relatively authentic, and also some nonsweet things, like quiches. They also have crêpes on Saturday, and they must amazing thick, hot chocolate ever. It's definitely a nice morning outing on a weekend.

I came here everytime I came to Madison for their French Onion Soup (FOS) and also for their pastries. My boyfriend likes their FOS and I get why. It's pretty good with lots of cheese, flavorful caramelized sliced onions, it has a really great flavor. I love almond croissants and of course, I had to try one here. It was pretty good. So moist inside and yet its crunchy outside with all the almond flakes. I tried one from Madison Sourdough and I like theirs a lot better. To add, I feel that pastries sold here ar La Baguette are a little too expensive but its good enough so I let that slide. I am just used to eating Porto's Bakery's Almond Croissants that are a little over a dollar back home in Southern California. The girl working here nice. She's friendly, fast and knows what shes doing. I didnt like the owner's attitude though. He would greet all other customers but us. I hate being treated differently. In fact, when I went to Europe, I also visited Paris, France. They were definitely not the friendliest people I have seen visiting 6 different countries in Europe. This one guy tried to break my brother's 2-days-old M4 side mirror just because we didnt have any cash to give him. That was such an experience that I dont have good memory in France. Anyway, sorry for all that random story but I really didnt like the owner's attitude but other than that, it was all OK. Its also very convenient for me to come here since its very close by.

Decent for Madison. Staff are a little snobbish. The sandwiches and desserts are good. The bread is its selling point.

You can taste the unique, superior, high quality coffee that is unlike any coffee rooted in culture and tradition. The coffee is sourced from Haraz, Yemen in the Arabian Peninsula which produces the most rare coffee in the world because of the unique elevation, soil, and climate. I love this coffee shop because it offers exotic flavors and spices such as Cardamom, Clove, and Qishr. This is a beautiful cafe inside with a relaxing, sleek, modern ambience that offers premium hot and cold coffee that are single serve or sharable larger sizes in a kettle, exotic teas, light refreshers, and smoothies. Qamaria Yemeni Coffee also offers some snacks and delicious treats/sweets that pair with drinks! Definitely try their Khalyet Al-Nahel which is a popular Arabic honey-drizzled sweet bread, stuffed with cream cheese which is absolutely delicious! I really also enjoyed their Dubai chocolate cup! My favorite is their Iced Qamaria Latte which is espresso, milk, cardamom, cinnamon, with some honey! The coffee alone stands out with delicious flavor that is slightly sweetened with honey and offers a hint or warmth/exotic spices with cardamom and the cinnamon which really wakes up your taste buds! I also really like their Adeni Tea which is black tea with cardamom also known as Karak Chaí in south Asia. Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is a great cafe to enjoy exotic unique coffee while also being a wonderful place to relax, study, unwind, and enjoy also with friends and family!

I made a reservation on a Thursday evening but it ended up not being too busy. My server was amazing and she explained that they have a mandatory service fee of 20% added on to the total, to ensure their staff gets a fair wage. They split it between front-of-house and back-of-house, and anything extra you choose to tip goes straight to your server. I ordered the beef bourguignon, and it was divine. Hearty without being too heavy. Highly recommend!

We loved the ambiance, but unfortunately the rest of the experience fell short…read more We chose to sit at the bar and told the bartender it was our first time dining there. We were hoping for a little guidance or enthusiasm about the menu, but she never really talked about the food. When we asked what she recommended, her response was simply, "Snapper." Every question we asked was met with very short, one word answers. She wasn't busy. She just seemed completely uninterested. Having worked in restaurants for most of my life, I know hospitality is about creating an experience. Bartenders are representing the restaurant and helping guests feel excited about the menu. If this were my restaurant, I would be disappointed by that level of service. The food itself was just okay. The presentation was beautiful and definitely deserving of five stars, but the flavor did not live up to how impressive it looked. After reading other Yelp reviews, we also realized a 20% gratuity had already been added for our party of two. We did not notice it at the time and tipped on top of it. While that was our oversight, it made the experience even more disappointing given the lackluster service. This was our first meal on our first visit to Madison, and we were really looking forward to it. Sadly, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. I will say that our first encounter was with the hostess, and she was very friendly. She welcomed us warmly, thanked us for coming, and even made a point to tell us goodbye on our way out. She was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing experience. Great dining is about more than just the food. It is about the entire experience, and this one missed the mark.
