We were in communication over text and she helped me choose and prepare everything I needed up until my wedding day. I was also quite budget conscious and she was very understanding. When I first met her in person (the day I landed), a day before my wedding, I immediately knew I was in good hands. She's extremely professional and has tons of experience. I had rented a veil that did not look good with my dress and she was able to quickly swap something out for me that she had at her shop. My dress was also too big when I got there and she was able to help me with that :) La Bella Wedding has tons of wedding dress options at their shop, which is really convenient if you're looking to rent something. Prices are also extremely affordable and was a fraction of what I paid to rent in LA. Jennifer has a great attitude and it was such a pleasure hiring her as my wedding planner. I have no regrets and highly recommend her and her team. While it was super hectic on the day of my wedding, her team kept me in check and made sure everything turned out the way I wanted things to be. I will preface this review by saying that during the three months that I was looking for my wedding dress, I visited four bridal salons (Casablanca, Vows, Masako Formals, and La Bella Bridal) on Oahu before giving up and taking my search to the mainland. My main reason for going to Oregon was that I found the selection on Oahu very limited, as no one carried any of the designer brands of Monique Lhuillier, Claire Pettibone, Jim Hjelm, or Lazaro. That being said, of all the bridal salons on Oahu, La Bella Bridal is definitely the premier bridal salon as their designer selection and customer service cannot be beat. La Bella Bridal is blessed with two of the best bridal sales associates I have ever met and one of the best designer selections of bridal dresses including the lines of Kenneth Pool and Reem Acra! On my first visit to La Bella Bridal, I was accompanied by my dad and my maid-of-honor, and was equipped with pictures of dresses I absolutely loved on my iPad. To my astonishment, they actually had a couple of the dresses! (Note: No other store, including Casablanca was able to accomplish this feat.) They immediately pulled a few of the dresses, but I quickly found out that these dresses looked better in my pictures and on a hanger than they did on me. Always listening to my comments of what I liked and disliked about each dress, both girls quickly found me other dresses to try on, and their picks were right on point. I immediately fell in love with a Kenneth Pool dress that I had not anticipated I would even like, but I, along with my Dad and my maid-of-honor, fell in love with it as well. Unfortunately, there was a picture of another Reem Acra dress hanging, and every time I turned around to look at my group, I couldn't stop myself from staring at it. The girls looked through their inventory and long story short, they realized they had sold their sample of it. Not to be stopped, they got in touch with their sister store in Korea, and without any charge to me, they were going to have it shipped to Hawaii, just so that I could try it on. If this isn't customer service, I don't know what is. The dress came in in less than a week, and I was back at the store to try it on. Sadly, that dress, like so many of the others, looked better in the picture than it did on me. While I ended up not finding the dress of my dreams at La Bella Bridal (and ended up buying one in Oregon while visiting my sister), I wanted to write this review because this bridal shop is second to none. Their selection is absolutely amazing, and their customer service cannot be beat. For any bride looking for a premier bridal salon, I highly HIGHLY recommend La Bella Bridal. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced; walked in, 3 people looked at me, and not1 moved. A lady did come from the back, and tried to help me (she was actually sweet, but you can tell she is new, and barely knew English).... A woman yelled from the back, as a I asked her to get my measurements: "We don't do that," I said mam I had it done a year ago, she yelled again "well, we do not do it anymore." Since I began dress shopping in LA, I felt it was only fair to check out the local bridal shops to ensure I wasn't missing out. Plus, tax is half of what it is in CA, so why not at least try & every penny counts when planning a wedding! I made an appt & desribed my dress preferences so she cld try to select items ahead of time. The shop itself is small. Small shop = limited inventory. Then one of them came up to me with a business card and told me that its easier to look at the dresses online!! Yeah, easier for her! Excellent service!! My husband and I are thankful we chose La Bella Bridal to help us plan and make our dream wedding come true. We booked their full service package of planning & coordination service for ceremony and reception. The package was great & helped a lot in simplifying some of the preparations, it included 1 standard wedding dress rental with wedding accessories (shoes, veil, earring, necklace, hair pieces). Selections were limited, nonetheless was still a beautiful wedding dress. You can upgrade your selection for some additional cost. I already had bought my own wedding gown months before, but I still wore the rental dress from La Bella for my wedding day photo shoot which was a nice addition/variation for wedding photos. It also included rental for the groom's tuxedo, boutonniere, bouquet, limo service, hair & make up for bride as well as light make up (optional) & hair for groom, 1 hr ceremony photographer, & mini wedding cake 8". But let me just focus on their service, our wedding planner Karin was amazing! She was always ready to listen to our requests & suggestions and very pleasant to work with. And because my husband and I were shouldering all of the expenses, she helped us get the best deal from all the vendors to keep our wedding within our budget. On our wedding day I truly felt like a princess. Karin and her team handled everything, my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything at all. My sister who was my maid of honor even told me that she didn't have to do any of her MOH duties because someone was always there ready to help me fix my dress, hair, touch ups & made sure I was holding my bouquet right to show off in all of our official wedding photos/video.The photographers from La Bella were also great. We had booked a 1 hour engagement photo shoot a month before our wedding, Karin and her team were there to accompany us and even provided transportation to our chosen location. Even though it was only for an hour, they made sure to capture our photos as we had envisioned it and ended up doing a 2hr-2 1/2 session without any additional cost. My family and my husband's family were all impressed with La Bella. Some of them even told us that if they were to have their wedding in Hawaii, they want La Bella to do their wedding. Karin, Mira, and I'm so sorry for not getting everyone's name who helped us, but they all did an amazing job! Im just going to start by saying that I'm not into getting married in a traditional way. I am also from an outer island so finding the perfect dress sooner than later is very important to me. I have visited a few other bridal shops and did not feel as if the consultants were understanding the look that I am going for. La Bella has made me feel so comfortable. Karin has been the only consultant that understands my ideas of my perfect wedding dress. She has been so accomidating to all of my wants and has been willing to go out of her way to meet with me to see and hear out my ideas. She has also been great about giving her honset oppions about what's going to work and what's not going to work. In the fitting room Karin was the only one that acctually helped me get into the dresses comfortably. She just placed each dress just so nicely that they were easy to step into and slide on. The boutique itself is small and quaint. Clean. Easy to find. Not as fancy as I thought it would be but thats ok. Customer sevice makes up for it. I really reccomend this place if you're looking for someone who will listen to what you want and not judge your ideas. read more

First of all this is meant not to offend anyone and not to upset the ones that did have a good experience in La Bella bridal shop. When I walked into the store the lady told me that they're closed for the day, well hello, why would you keep the door open? It was noon on Sunday. She basically rushed my maid of honor and I out the door, making me feel like I, the bride, isn't welcomed there. It was more then upsetting, I was appalled by that sort of behavior. She did give us a card and told to make an appointment in order to look at the dresses. I decided to give it another chance and took that card. My maid of honor been calling them for several days in the row to hear same answer "We will call you back". No one ever called her back about the appointment. It was by far very disappointing experience with unfriendly staff. I don't appreciate when you basically put me out the door and make me feel like it's my fault that I want to get the dress I want. You have lost a customer, it's a pity, since I did like the dress that they had on the window display. I'd highly recommend to hire people friendly employees that will bring a good reputation to the shop. read more

My experience with Labella was exceptional. Despite my worries of planning for a destination wedding, our wedding in March turned out to be perfect. Jennifer was our planner for the beautiful wedding ceremony at Paradise Cove Luau. She was very attentive and responsive to thousands of questions I asked and was willing to go back to the florist multiple times to come up with the ideas for beautiful bouquet and flower crown. All other managers who helped with the set-up and coordination of the ceremony did an excellent job as well. We went with one of Labella's wedding ceremony packages. The reception was not included so we arranged one ourselves at a hotel restaurant. The package included wedding dress and tuxedo rentals for the bride and groom. Not to mention all the accessories and shoes are also included along with the attires. However, we brought our own dress and suit as we had specific designs in mind. The hair and make-up services I got on the day of engagement photos and the wedding were great. The hair and make-up lasted the entire day despite the strong winds of Hawaii. Everything regarding the ceremony was great except for two things we think could have been better. First, the wedding officiant at the wedding ceremony came a bit unprepared. He was checking our names and asked the name of the location couple times. Additionally, we arranged a mini bus as a transportation for our guests from the hotel to the ceremony and to the reception. I later heard that the driver mistakenly dropped them off at another wedding that was happening at the chapel right next to where we were getting married. Upon realizing, the guests hopped back on the bus to be dropped off again at our wedding. Notwithstanding these two minor items, our wedding turned out to be great where everyone had a good time. We worked with two photographers for our engagement photos and wedding photos. They are the experts in finding spots that would give you the dream photos. They were continuously communicating with us to suggest different gestures and poses for the photos. We recently received our engagement and wedding photos. We could not have been happier. She went out of her way to look up a dress that I was looking for and was able to locate it, find the price and order it from the East coast within 2 days. I rarely leave reviews but this venue left me no choice. First of all, this place doesn't even deserve a single star but for the purpose of writing this review I was forced to (you're very welcome La Bella!) I've never received such unprofessional and rude service from the same nationality! Initially, I heard good things about how they provide high end services, even to celebrities...so I had high expectations. They didn't reply to my first email inquiring their services until I had to send a second email a week later as a reminder. I finally got an email, but all the information it gave me was the extra costs such as coordinator, bridal make up and hair stylist round trip airfares and their rental car fees that will be added on top of the ceremony/reception. It continued to say that if we agree to pay the additional fees let them know, if not, don't even bother to contact them again. Obviously, they only care about money and couldn't care that a wedding is one of the happiest moments of our lives! I don't understand how they are still in business because they can't even get the basic customer service down! They served celebrities??! Yea that's only because those celebrities probably couldn't speak English! Anyhow~ enough of the truth talking. The only advice I can give this venue is to close shop. I planned a destination wedding in Waikiki and LA Bella was amazing to work with! I looked the packages online and then called to verify if it was available for the day I needed. It wasn't but they helped me find another venue to fit my needs! I went there a month before my wedding to meet with them. They did not require this but I was nervous so I called for an appointment. Jennifer met with me and went over the process in full detail and even emailed everything we discussed during the meeting so I would have a copy~ I arrived 4 days before my wedding and was fitted for a dress. They are really good at picking out a dress that looks amazing on you! On the day of the wedding the hair/makeup artist came to my hotel room and made me look beautiful. Jennifer came with my dress and helped me put it on~ The ceremony was so beautiful! They hired a photographer who took amazing photos of my husband and I! If you want exceptional customer service and a stress free wedding I definitely recommend this place~ My wedding planner was Jennifer and she was absolutely a dream to work with! read more
