Scheduled an appointment for Tuesday 7/28. I was looking for a specific color and had inspiration pictures. The nail tech who had my appointment kept wanting to use a different color. Finally I asked to see more color options and she just got up and left for like 10 minutes. When she came back she rudely said what number. I told her I couldn't find the color so I would just do a French tip. While she was working I told her one of my nails was uneven and the tip was uneven and asked if she'd fix it but she did not. Then, after all that 2 nails had peeled off by Thursday 7/30. Nails didn't even last two days. Not going back. Do not recommend.

I went in for a soak-off to remove my acrylic nails. Instead of soaking them off, the technician immediately began cutting the acrylics. While she was doing this, I felt a sharp pain in two of my fingers and noticed she had broken my natural nail on my thumb. I immediately reacted and pulled my hand back.The technician then grabbed my hand and told me she wasn't finished and continued doing what she was doing. At that point I was crying, irritated and in pain. I decided to stop the service and went to the front desk to explain that I no longer wanted their services because the technician was being reckless and insensitive.This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. I ended up going home and it took me about four hours to remove the nail myself because it was extremely painful. I would not recommend this place based on my experience.

If you're looking to walk in, this place is set up with a dozen or more nail techs to meet your needs. The inside appears clean and is well equipped and decorated. We wandered in here mid day on a Friday for mani/pedi's (2 people) without an appointment and were seated in massage chairs for our pedicures in about 15 minutes. The nail techs did a good job, made us feel comfortable and overall we had a Good experience. Fast forward 7 days and my gel manicure is peeling off already. I'm not sure why, perhaps they didn't do enough coats? Regardless, I paid $100 for my mani/pedi and would sure expect it to last me more that a week. This is my reason for deducting two stars. Would I try them again? Yes! Giving the benefit of the doubt I'll give this place another try next time I'm in the area. But, you better believe I'll ask them about why my mani didn't last and see if there's anything they can do differently the second time around.

Service is genuinely the worst I've ever experienced. The staff always rush and the nails are always horrible. I'll ask for a simple design and it comes out horrific and sloppy. At my recent appointment, I was simply asking for a letter to be put in the heart for valentines, and the lady could not understand what I wanted and kept doing it wrong and then ended up giving me the brush to do the design myself. She then charged me $75 for the set after doing them horrible and nothing close to what I wanted. I'd never recommend this place. Go somewhere else or find a private tech if you can. I included pics from when I went a year ago and they came out horrible.

I went in for a gel manicure ... the nail technician cut two of my fingers . Another concern was that she was not wearing gloves and my fingers were bleeding .. I DO NOT recommend this place nor will I be going back. The owner did reach out to me on the matter. However , I would have appreciated a more careful job without needing to remind the technician.

Very clean, warm, and welcoming environment. Fair prices. Friendly staff. You walk in and you're immediately welcomed with an offer of refreshments. The interior is well decorated. There are many stations. You would never guess how big it is from the outside. We'll be back. read more

Duy is my go-to person every time I get my nails done. He super detail oriented and never leaves my nails uneven, he's just the best. Ever since I started coming to him, there hasn't been anybody else who does the same job quality. The only downside is that it's super hard to make an appointment with him as he's always booked. read more

Salon has a very nice environment and the staff values hospitality. As far as nail techs, Duy is my favorite! My cousins and I followed him from his old spot and he never disappoints. It sometimes bugs me that he doesn't have set prices for his services; he sometimes charges me $35, other times $40, and other times $45. But it's not THAT big of a deal since he does such an amazing job! When he does my nails they DON'T LIFT after a few weeks, which is very important for me. This set was $45! read more

I really wanted this place to be amazing, but unfortunately the nail technician cut me 3 times (twice on the same toe, which I yanked back twice, and then once on my index finger). Additionally, when putting on the slippers she messed up my small to to the point where half of the polish was on my toe. Yes I understand mistakes happen, but instead of starting over, she glopped nail polish on half the toe. I told her that wasn't acceptable and still she said wait till it dries. Well...it dried and still looks horrible. My husband had a great experience with his pedicure. So I guess my recommendation is to go, but still specifically ask for the older nail technicians, as the younger ones are not experienced enough. read more

I've been coming to La Bella since they opened and it's getting really pricey. Everything seems to be an added charge, which I understand that it's a business that needs to make money however I'm not sure why certain nail polish is $5-$10 more.... if I'm going to pay for a $55 pedicure it truly needs to be worth it. I hope they start specifying on the samples if there is a price difference - it seems kind of sneaky. It also seems like they're out of colors and I'm rushed to pick one- pretty irritating. read more

The first time I went in, they mismatched my fill...leaving a weird color variation on my pinky finger. Two days later, my nail lifted and fell off completely. When I went back to have it fixed, they showed zero concern that I was having a problem with the work they had done. Then they mismatched the color fill AGAIN and didn't bother to fix it. And then they still charged me $5! This is not how a new business should be operating if they want to keep business. read more

I've gone here for a couple years however, on numerous occasions I have been cut by the nail techs. One time it was so bad and the woman doing pedicures called another tech to come look at my nail and they were both laughing at me. It was so bad the nail was raised. Today I went in to get a Valentine's Day nail look and the guy who cut me last time was my tech again today (also cut me again today) said yes he can do a simple design before he was going to do the design he said he would charge me an extra $30 on top of my fill price! So now my nails are not done the way I wanted them and it made me say okay, this has to be my final time here at la Bella. It's a nice spa but there has been to many occasions where it was more bad than good. read more

Great experience. Love my girl Hanna for my no chip pedi she did a great job! Got the deluxe I think came with calluses removal and paraffin dip exfoliation with fresh lemon and message. Love how they have portable nail dryers for the no chip. Go tue-wed between the hours of 10-3 for 15% off bonus points: they have the one time use plastic bags that keep everything nice and clean in ur tub!!!! read more

Honestly this has been the best place I have been in. That is in Salinas I am not from here and I have an event Saturday. And I didn't know where to get my nails done so I went here and let me just tell you they offer you there best assisting and wonderful greeting. They are super nice ask for mimi she was amazing and nice. They'll even put up with your long and boring stories of life. Some lady that was next to me had a long story to tell lol. Went in today for a well over due pedicure and Katy was AMAZING! super welcoming from the minute she asked to seat me. Usually I feel awkward in the nail salon environment but Katy made me feel welcomed and as if she really cared about my wants in my pedicure. I walk in with out a appointment I got Tina today she was professional and polite I just wanted a regular manicure French tips I had previously had acrylic nails so my nails where a little in the bad side but she did good job on cleaning them and even tho I can see paint from my previous nails it's not bad not sure if I would come back but this place is luxurious and great customer service when you walk in. read more

This spa has a beautiful, inviting, and relaxing atmosphere despite its constant flow of patrons. The customer service is A1 as they pay close attention to your needs and do not rush through your service. They offer hot tea, water, and sometimes wine during your appointment which adds a touch of class. I suggest making an appointment over walk-in service to make sure you can been seen on the day you wish. Also be patient when calling to book your service, their phone line tends to be busy. Their constant flow of patrons speaks to their level of quality service! read more

What a wonderful place! Beautifully decorated, tons of pedi chairs, SUPER clean, and every person we encountered was friendly. Great attention to detail on my toes and fingers, and I didn't feel rushed. Tools were in fresh autoclave bags, the pedi chairs had liners, and the bathrooms were spotless. Pricing was as expected and no more than the "other" big nail salon on the South Side, but the service was far superior. Final nail results were fantastic, and for once I wasn't pressured with an up sell for waxing or facials (which they do also offer). Such a great experience from start to finish. I will definitely be back. read more

Great salon overall. Technicians can be slightly hit or miss (had a girl that rushed through my gel manicure and I ended up having to come back to have it redone). Katie does amazing gel manicures and I would highly recommend booking early because her limited schedule fills up. They do take forever to answer the phone and will put you on hold so long that you think they'll never pick back up, but if you can get past that, the experience is great otherwise. read more

I showed her a reference pic and she said that it was beautiful and she would do her best. She didn't do it exactly as the photo but I still love my nails. Great first impression! The salon is absolutely gorgeous. I came in on a Friday afternoon, no appointment - they took me right in, no wait. They offered me water upon arrival, that was very kind. I had an acrylic full set with gel. The lady that helped me was very nice, a little rough, but I didn't mind it. She did exactly what I asked for (length, thickness, shape), I did feel like she rushed a little and ended up with nail polish on the bottom of my finger nails but it's a good thing no one can see that lol. Took approximately 45mn if that. It cost $28 but that's including the grand opening 20% discount, it would otherwise cost $35 read more

Very beautiful inside. Very open and clean and the interior decor makes you feel really relaxed. Awesome they give you 20% off all services for their grand opening. The prices for everything are very reasonable. The lady that was doing my pedicure was great. My only complaint is after the pedicure she didn't even help me put my sandals back on so I won't mess up the polish. She just left me and went on to someone else. :/ Overall this is my new nail place. Can't wait to try a facial and get some waxing done :) read more

I love La Bella! All of the employees are amazing there! Always happy and chatty when my friend and I go in. They do wonderful manicures, pedicures, acrylic nails and waxing! I always make my appointments with Lena. She is always so sweet and remembers little things like that my feet are super ticklish. The facility is very clean. They use the covers in the pedicure chair bowls. And they wipe them down with Clorox after each use as well. read more

It is my first time here and I really loved the service I did not have an appointment but got someone to do my full set in about 30 min. The front desk young lady is super sweet and attentive. I'm visiting family here in Salinas and needed to find a nail salon. The reviews on Yelp persuaded me to come here and I am so glad I did! I made an appointment with Hannah, as her name kept coming up in the reviews. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I got there a few minutes early and was seated right away. Let me tell you, Hannah is AWESOME!! I had to have my acrylics removed and she took such care and time in soaking and gently removing them. She was also very patient with me while I was trying to choose a gel color, as I was being very indecisive. My whole experience here was wonderful! If I could, I would travel from Arizona just to have my nails done here!! I highly recommend this place. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. I was not treated with respect and was not shown any effort in achieving what I had asked for. I even showed pictures of what I was wanting my nails to look like. I felt rushed and overcharged. I feel like the lady that did my nails (Hannah) just did not want to put in any extra effort to achieve what I had asked for. If you want a place that goes above and beyond with high standards, avoid this place. If you're looking for an average, mediocre nail salon that overcharges, and is more concerned with the number of clients they can squeeze in that day without any concern about the quality of service they are giving, then this is the place for you. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I'm a really easy going person, so when I have to speak up and tell a technician she's hurting me it's uncomfortable for me. I can overlook a technician not giving you the full service you paid for and yes even not asking you how you want your pedicure. But I draw the line a physically hurting someone by literally pulling their skin off, making them bleed repeatedly, and nipping them with tools. I sadly have an infected toe from this experience, from the exact piece of skin the tech ripped off, and I spoke out about. I would absolutely advise proceeding with caution with this location. And I am not assuming all technicians here will do the same thing, hence the proceed with caution. I just want to share my experience. read more

I'm so happy to have a nail shop close to home this is my second time going back to get my nails done, my first time was just ok they were kinda lumpy and had stuff under neath my nails so this second time I went back I got a lady named Kim she did a excellent job I have stiletto nails they came out perfect and she painted them very good not all messy, so yes I will be coming back again. I always make my next appointment before I leave cause this place is always busy! read more

they do not soak off acrylics. they, quite literally, just rip them off of your nails. they cut off excess length and take a nail tip to push underneath the acrylic and they just rip them off. it takes about anywhere from 10-15 minutes. and i cannot…

Sad part is the following weekend. I took my mom to happy feet down the street and she got a foot and neck massage and I got a neck and shoulder massage and the total was $70 and to be honest I felt more relaxed when I was leaving there, then I did with aqua blue . I'm kind of glad I decided to do that because honestly, I was going to book with Manny again because he was amazing but with those prices to not be happy was pretty unacceptable. My dad passed recently, so Mother's Day had proven to be harder than expected. That's why I wanted to do something extra special for her this year by booking the spa. We have been to massage envy before and that's honestly where I was gonna go this time, but I was trying to do an elevated experience that was outside of a corporate place but honestly, I think even the value at massage envy is greater than here because again with those prices to not be happy it's just crappy honestly it took me a while to write the review because I didn't want to seem Like I didn't enjoy the time with my mom. I absolutely did. I just didn't enjoy the lack of customer service- if I was paying what I paid over there at happy feet this would've been a five star review but $400 later to leave unsatisfied.... All I'm saying is I'm down to spend some money and I'm down to spend some good money on quality stuff. I just feel kind of ripped off.

The techs there are skilled and there seems to be a lash salon on every corner. We moved to Marina 2 months ago, and I was bummed that I couldn't find a good lash person in Monterey or Carmel. The quality of work just wasn't was I was used, especially for the price. Driving to San Jose for fills was becoming such a pain, so I decided to try Nicole based on the Yelp reviews. Here's what I like: Nicole is friendly and clean. I liked the fact that I could smell hand sanitizer (or soap) on her hands. She uses good products. I can't remember the lash size she used, but they were soft to the touch and perfect for my eyes. They are thick enough to be seen, but not so thick that they weigh my eyelids down or look like I'm wearing falsies. The glue she used didn't both me (sometimes during allergy season, I can be extra sensitive to the glue). Nicole is fairly quick. I think it took an hour for a fill. Now understand, this was the first time I saw Nicole. She was doing a fill on someone else's work, so I think an hour is pretty decent. Nicole's prices are reasonable, especially for the end result. What I really like and appreciate about Nicole is that she is REALLY gentle. I have an extra-sensitive lash line, and she never once made me flinch. There was no pulling or yanking of my old lashes. I could actually relax and enjoy my time on the table.

I never really write reviews but the customer service & quality was shocking, and not in a good way. Lina & Lisa are very nice but their work is okay. I feel terrible for saying this but the work quality in this place has gone down substantially. My mom, little sister and I got basic pedicures. The service my little sister and I got was decent however my moms experience was upsetting. The lady helping her ( didn't get her name ) barely soaked her feet, didn't scrub her feet with the sugar scrub and had a very rushed & rude demeanor. We all got basic pedicures and while my sister and I got the scrub, cuticle removal and an overall good pedicure, my mom got a rushed, sloppy, mediocre service. On top of this they are not updated to new nail techniques & the work done here is very outdated. Lastly, we couldn't believe how they did my mom's manicure, I guess they give a variety or nail shapes and unexpected designs? While certain staff are very nice, the work here is rushed, outdated and not worth the price. I included various photos of the "manicure" in different lighting. Gave 2 starts for how nice Lina & Lisa are, other than that I would give it none. read more

I went to get my nails done with my sister on a Friday at around noon. My original nail tech, Natalie was all booked up so I went with whoever was available. BIG MISTAKE! I got Kim and she did the WORST job on my nails. After 5 days of having a brand new full set it looked like I needed a fill. After a week of having the nails on they started to chip, fall off easily, etc. I just took them off completely. WASTE OF MONEY! On top of that Kim had the WORST customer service. She kept slapping my hand like I should be lucky to have her service. She was very rude and talking with the other nail tech Lucy and laughing like if they were talking about my sister and I. I felt very uncomfortable and for that reason I'm very hesitant to go back there. I love the salon atmosphere but to have nail techs that are rude and have attitude should not be aloud. If I go back I'll only be sticking with Natalie. She's very nice and welcoming as well as she does my nails up to perfection. I have gone to this salon multiple times with family and friends. The inside is modern, clean and well kept. However, the nail techs are a hit or miss. I will be straight forward about this. My acrylics are average at best. The shape is uneven and doesn't match every nail on one hand. The length asked for always gets filed way further down then needed. The nail techs make no effort to be friendly or welcoming. I came in with a picture and received nothing close to it. I have also gotten eyebrow waxed on two occasions. The first time was terrible and half my eyebrow on one side was gone and they were both way too thin. I had told her I would like to keep my thickness and just to clean up the shape. The second time she had spilt wax in my hair and then put a gel like product in my hair to take out the wax. No where in the salon did I see a certificate of anyone being licensed. read more

First things first, the place is beyond beautiful. From the outside it looks like a normal Nail Salon. But as soon as you walk in, you'll be surprise on how lovely this place is. I been here 3 times already and so far I been satisfied. They have their own little coffee/tea station where your more than welcome to treat yourself. You can make an appointment or do a walk in. I do walk ins and they help me out right away. I had to wait 1 time but that was only for 5 minutes, which is nothing. Other than that, I'm really pleased and satisfied with this place. Been going to the same manicurist for almost 20 years! Now that he has his own salon the service he has always provided me has continued. Whenever he has not been available I have also gotten my nails done by other manicurists who have also done a fantastic job! I highly recommend going to La Bella nail spa if you need some "me" time and want to get pampered. It's a very welcoming salon with great ambiance and the staff is always very friendly! I was queen for a day I was a walk-in and so wonderfully surprised to see how beautiful the spa is. I only waited about 5 minutes. Natalie and Nancy gave me the most wonderful peaceful experience. They gave me my manicure and pedicure at the same time. Everyone was so professional and no kids running around. My feet haven't looked this good in 20 years! I had an amazing experience with Lisa! I was initially worried because one of my toenails had fallen off, but Lisa worked her magic, and after the pedicure, you can't even tell which one it was Lisa did an incredible job. She also did my nails, and since I'm not used to having long nails, I was a bit nervous. But Lisa shaped them perfectly, was super attentive to every detail, and made them look so natural. The chairs are comfortable, and the staff is always friendly, professional, and welcoming. They genuinely seem to enjoy what they do--you can often hear them laughing and having a good time while still providing excellent service. The quality of their work is consistently great. I appreciate the bags that line the tubs to make it clean and safe for us. The staff also speaks English very well, along with other languages, which makes communication easy and is something I really appreciate. Another thing I love is that they usually accommodate walk-ins. I've never had to wait long, which is a huge plus. My only criticism is that on a few occasions I stopped in just to have my gel polish removed, but I was told I would need to pay for a full manicure even though I only wanted the removal. I wish they offered a standalone gel removal service for customers who don't need a manicure. I also think the prices are higher at this salon than others in the area. Overall, I highly recommend this salon. The excellent customer service, positive atmosphere, and quality of their work keep me coming back. Keep up the great work!

It was painful in the moment and I thought it would go away but it's now the next day and I'm still having pain and I found some yellow crust next to the big toe of my right foot which is where she did the most damage. I have tried antibiotic ointment now and am just waiting to see how this progresses but this is such a safety hazard! It looked like their tools have been autoclaved since they were in the small blue baggies but even then I can't guarantee that. I would definitely avoid this location, it's just not worth the risk to your health despite it being fairly cheap ($40).

I will say, I don't think I saw them open their tools for the pedicure from a sealed like bag, they just came from the back on a tray - though it's possible that they were just opened away from me. So many people are popping in and out and I would say I don't know how they manage all the clients they have with maybe like 6 people? But they do. My mani pedi took 1.5 hours for reference. I will update this as far as wear later on. I would say it was good quality service for the price and for a general nail salon - you may disagree if you are used to going to nail art specific people perhaps but that's my view. As far as vibes - super busy like I said - people come and talk to each other while they get services - not what I like to do personally but there's lots of that. Employees talk to themselves in their language but surprisingly quietly, I had no idea how they all heard each other. There are two big TVs they have generic shows and ads running on and general spa music. They also have a either ancestor altar, and or ancestor plate - I think that is what it is called though I am not certain - in the front. I thought it was a nice touch personally.
