Tried La Bella's gluten free pie. Made to order on a cauliflower crust if you need to avoid gluten. Service was quick and friendly. Pie is small and rectangular. Tasty and customizable to your liking - toppings, etc. They even have us some free zeppoles which was very nice! The only problem with this little shop is there's no AC. It's been very hot and the heat inside is almost unbearable. I feel sorry for the people who work there. There's a cute outdoor patio in the front if you're planning to "dine in." read more

Excellent Chicken Parm - big pieces of tender chicken and great sauce! VERY filling, to say the least! For whatever reason though, you have to order pasta separately (at least for catering orders...just FYI). Ok, so right away I was a little confused. I put in an order for a large plain pie. When I saw the size of the pizza box, I was a little disappointed with the size (that's what she said!!111). I've read a few reviews on here and everyone was raving about the size of their individual slices, so I figured a large pie would be good. The pizza is probably a medium size anywhere else you go. But I gave it the benefit of the doubt. I've had really good small pizzas before, so I was hoping this would be good too. I was completely wrong. This pizza was awful. Everything is way to sweet and could have been left in the oven a little longer. This tasted like some kind of trash pizza you get out of state. Then I ordered a stromboli, which wasn't terrible..? Still too sweet. My problem is the amount of sauce they give you. What kind of psychopath can eat a large stromboli with a little cup of sauce? I always order extra sauce to avoid issues like this.. IT STILL WASN'T ENOUGH. I could eat one of those cups of sauce in one bite. This was a terrible experience. Oh by the way, they also didn't have any penne pasta. How in the world can an italian restaurant run out of penne? Never again.. Their pizza boxes say "New York Style Pizza".. I stopped in to try this place out for lunch. It was a small room in the back, but they have a decent sized patio in front of the store (great for warmer weather). As long as you aren't overly dramatic about a small dining area, eating in is fine and service was very friendly. I ordered the Chicken Italiano sandwich with fries. The entire roll was toasted just right. The spinach and red peppers were nicely sauteed. Chicken was perfectly seasoned and the sharp provolone was great quality. I've ordered this sandwich at many places and it oftentimes comes out very greasy and difficult to keep the sandwich intact while eating. Here, the sandwich was presented nicely, it wasn't dripping oil, and probably up there with one of the best Chicken Italiano sandwich I've had in this area. Hate to leave a bad review but for the love of god stop using Slice! Labella's is one of my favorite pizzas places, food is always good. When they delivered themselves we always got our food in about 20 mins. We live 5 mins up the road so pretty much as fast as you can imagine. Since they started using slice for delivery We cant get aa pizza delivered in under 1hr. Tonight it took 2hrs for a single pizza. Longest we waited was 3ish hrs. The drivers don't care, only response tonight was to hand me a cold pizza and say have a good night. Not even hi or sorry bout the wait. This isn't Labella's fault but guys, this reflects or you too. Oh my goodness, we stopped at WaWa next door just to get drinks and I smelled delicious cooking garlic coming from down the way. Wasn't even hungry but went into La Bella's and ordered a variety of slices for dinner later, first time there. Slices were HUGE and I wound up having to pull over on the long ride home to shovel some white pizza in my mouth. I could not resist. I've eaten food from here a few times. First time a co worker ordered pizza. It was meh. Average and nothing to write home about. Another time a coworker night back pepperoni garlic knots and buffalo chicken knots. They're fantastic. However, recently I went in for the first time and there's flies everywhere. Landing right on the pizza I was ordering. Had I known how dirty this place is I'd have not eaten anything previously or ordered anything this time. I gave them one more chance, because the food is good. Flies everywhere. I'm done with this place. Also, their prices are insane. End up spending over $12 bucks for not much food. A friend of mine ate here for lunch on Thursday, and she wouldn't shut up about it. "You should have come." "It was soooo good!" "That pizza was amazing!" "They gave us free zeppoli after our meal!" She loved it so much that she suggested it for lunch on Friday. I didn't walk back into the actual restaurant, as we sat outside on the lovely patio. Clean tables, umbrellas, and potted flowers all around made this a perfect spot for a sunny spring day. I ordered a slice of the chicken parm stuffed pizza. This giant slice came out actually STUFFED with diced chicken parm, and though it wasn't dry, the side of marinara was appreciated and did make it even better. Other friends at the table ordered the margarita slice and the buffalo chicken slice. Both seemed pleased with their plus sized pieces. The service at La Bella was great. Our waitress came out to inform us that our stuffed pizza was just being made, so it would be an extra 10 minutes. I really appreciate when servers check with a customer on timing issues, especially when I'm on a tight schedule. She came back often to check if our sodas needed refilling, and was pleasant even though it looked like she was doing a lot of back and forth. La Bella has a lunch special that includes any small hot sandwich and a side of fries for $4.99. I loved my pizza, but I think I'll try this out next time I go. this is the best delivery pizza in Medford and in my opinion better than Riviera. I'm in Medford lakes and the fascination with Riv is interesting. I guess it's a townie thing, like hard to admit it isn't great pizza. I've tried it a bunch of times and it is average at best. ok onto La Bella--very consistently good. cheesy, nice crust on it, medium in size, not thin, not thick. the stuffed chicken parm pizza is bangin. fantastic on the reheat. great to have some people over, cut this pie up into strips and dip in marinara. la bella is our regular Friday night delivery pizza. occasional issues with the delivery (like 1 hr wait, or box crushed down onto pizza) but these are probably less than 10% of the time. my favorite pizza in the area is Red Star, so if I'm willing to drive and pick up, that's the place. read more

My kids placed an order at 1:35pm for delivery while we (my husband and I) were out the order arrived over an hour and 15 mins after with a very over cooked burger and the garlic knots were burned as well as dry pasta.. contacted them via FB messenger they needed the number which the order was placed with great I provided that, saw the message was read yet they never responded, poor customer service. Ok! So I was having a party and this place was recommended as a restaurant that was usually used at the party place I booked for my daughter. I looked at the reviews and seen a 4.3/5 so I said ok why not. Yeah ok NEVER AGAIN. I spoke to someone on the phone and advised I would need the pizza delivered at 4:45 so the party can run according to plan. Well my food arrived and the previous party before mines was still going on. I called and let them know my party hadn't even started and my guests weren't going to eat cold pizza. The place assured me they would send out new pies. I called at 445 to see where my pizza was and I was told they probably couldn't send more pizza for another 45mins to an hour because they were backed up. That's not my problem i asked for a specific time. By the time new pies would have gotten sent out my party would have been over. Well $100 down the drain and my guests had to eat cold pizza. read more
