This place has been the Medford Lakes/Medford Pizza go to for anyone who lives around there. You can tell people have been coming here for ages. Whether it's the kids who ride their bikes and meet up with their friends for a slice and soda or the family who needs a good fast meal for the evening. I've had a few trips to this location and it's a good one in my opinion. The staff are friendly and acknowledge you when you arrive. I've also eaten at a dining room table and ordered pasta before. It's just a good place to get a decent meal. This review is about their large cheese pizza. It's a traditional crispy crust,salty melted cheese and Italian homemade sauce kind of pie. It's very good! I do like a sweeter sauce but I'm not going to complain at all because it's really damn good. You may have driven past The Rob numerous times but never stopped to eat. It is not just a take out Pizza restaurant it has a seated side too. The food and service here are awesome. From first walking in through constant water top ups and delivery of food the servers are extremely attentive. And, it's a BYOB. We love coming here, you should try it soon. read more

We ordered a pizza from this place and it never came. I called to place the order and the guy on the phone from the restaurant said it had to be placed through the Slice app. I placed the order on the Slice app and it never arrived. I called customer service and they said the restaurant was now closed. What a mess and disaster. We ended up ordering from Angelos Pizza and it was amazing! The Pizza here is the best! This place has a long tradition in the hearts of Lakers here in Medford. The service has always been excellent and the prices are in line with other pizza shops in town. The down side is that this is NOT a Hoagie shop! I had a hoagie here the other day on par with WAWA. It was filled with tomatoes, lettuce, hot peppers...everything but lunchmeat. I swear it had two slices of meat and a slice of cheese for about $10. Sorry, I love the Riv and will always come back for pizza but skip the hoagie. read more

The best comfort food in town! Not only do (most) of the staff truly care about their customers, the food here is amazing!! I grew up in Medford Lakes so Riv has always been a staple. Started biking here after ML middle school camp to grab slices with my friends. This is a classic spot for "I don't feel like cooking" in my family. Also perfect for a date! I've actually never tried anything but Riv's pizza. Sounds crazy but that's what they represent to me! I'd love to have the opportunity in the future to sit in the side room and try some pasta! I've tried many pizzas (and some sides) here, so I'll rate them below. I also have a few pictures! PS- love that you can get pizza by the slice! Nothing beats coming up to the counter and seeing what's fresh! Plain slice- 5/5. Classic Taco slice- 5/5. So good!! Never tried this until I saw it here! Sicilian slice- 5/5. GREAT crust. Delicious Cheese fries- 4/5. Classic cheese fries. Ask for cheese on the side because they sometimes lack with the pour on! Chicken bacon ranch slice- 6/5. Wow!! Never had something like this until I tried it here! It's one of my classic go to's Buffalo chicken slice 10/5. I could probably talk about this slice all day. Literally no other place I've been to (and there's a lot) compares to this buffalo chicken slice. The most delicious sauce mixture ever with an amazing amount of chicken!!! I love that it's not breaded chicken and I love that there's nothing BUT chicken. Some other places include onions etc and I think it ruins it!! I could eat this everyday of my life (and I get it every single time so go!) No exaggeration. Riv- if you're reading this, please never ever change that recipe Lastly, they just released a new vodka pizza that I got to try. 5/5!! It was so delicious I ate 1/2 the pie without even noticing! So glad they added this because I've always wanted to try!! Overall, if I had to sum up Riv, it would be the place I run to first the day I got home from being at college. Tried their cheesesteak today. Not at all impressed. Very salty, soggy, and the meat quality was so-so. Their pizza is ok, nothing impressive and thin crusted. Their food is expensive; over $45 for 2 large pizzas and cheesesteak. Their pizzas shouldn't cost more than $14. Cheesesteaks should be $6 at most. read more

Riviera Pizza is one of my go-to places in the local area for pizza, salads, sandwiches, and more. They do make a great Eggplant Parm Sandwich (ask for extra eggplant), which is the best I have found in the area. Still looking for its competition. Their ingredients are fresh, and I always find their food is consistent in the way its made, which is important. What makes this location even better is that they are open late, especially on Sundays until 11pm. I have utilized this option numerous time and hope that they keep their hours later as well. This also keeps them competitive as others have already closed by 9pm or 10pm. If you should choose to dine in the restaurant area, it's BYOB. Parking is shared with the 711 Store adjacent to the restaurant. read more

This place has the nicest staff working the counter. Always happy, fast and helpful. Riv has a great burger. If you love a pizza place burger this is definitely the spot for you. Try the pizza burger if you really are feeling gluttonous. I know this sounds picky, but I think their soda selection needs some refreshing. Some gourmet sodas would be key here. As for the pizza - it's pretty good - although we tend to stick to the burgers. I ordered a margarita pizza and was surprised they used sliced mozzarella (instead of fresh mozzarella balls). It was a little off-putting at first sight, but the flavor was awesome. The sauce was so flavorful it definitely made you forget about the weird looking cheese. read more

I must say before covid 19 I only ever got the prime rib sandwich. The pizza was never my favorite. However during covid the owner upgraded the kitchen and honestly the pizza is better then I ever remember before. The crust is nice and crunchy and you can tell they use good quality cheese. The staff and service is lightning fast. You are in and out of there with your food in no time. If you have never been to Medford this place is a family staple. read more

My memory from Riv's before this weekend was more about the delinquents from high school hanging out there versus the food. This weekend changed my mind. Riviera doesn't deliver, however they went out of their way to help me out and deliver for a party I was having. We got a selection of pizza's and sandwiches and the hot sandwiches were gone in seconds. A favorite of our crew was definitely the sausage and peppers. Everyone was super friendly and helpful while placing my catering order as well. I would definitely order again. read more
