Lugana Superior. Nice crisp local white.

Right next to our hotel. Unassuming seats a few meters away from the restaurant. Service was perfect. Not over-bearing and staff was happy to answer questions. Had an amazing bottle of '23 Lugana Superior recommended by the staff. Started with spaghetti with olive oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Perfectly balanced with a nice heat. Had green peppercorn filet and monk fish with capers, olives, and perfect tomatoes. Could not have asked for a better meal. Well done!!!!

This was one of the spots our hotel recommended & we ended up visiting twice. We had a short walk through a maze of buildings to get here on Monday for a late lunch around 2. We started with a couple of Draft Morrettis-a view of the canal with my favorite Italian beer-doesn't get any better! Ordered the Caprese-fresh mozzarella and tomatoes were tasty. Garlic Spinach was delicious with just the right amount of garlic flavor and a must try dish as I didn't see this one anywhere else. For main we shared the Milanese Cutlet (Veal.) not greasy and lightly breaded -we enjoyed it. Second visit was for dinner. Started with an Aperol Spritz and side salad. Lasagna was excellent with very light cheese and sauce. Mixed fried fish was lightly breaded and tasty. We sat inside on our second visit as it was supposed to rain and they have a good amount of space. Service was attentive and friendly on both of our visits. Would highly recommend!

The food and service were incredible. I started with a lemoncella spritzer that was fabulous. The seafood platter was shared between my husband and I. The fish was unbelievably fresh. Each bite was delicious. We ordered the Sea Bass that was caught fresh from the Adriatic Sea and presented with fresh vegetables and drizzled with olive oil. The fish was so tasty and moist it melted in our mouths. I recommend this restaurant for their wonderful wait staff, and the menu was extensive. They had everything.

This restaurant was right by the water, a little farther than most restaurants but I promise you it's not a tourist trap. Staff were super friendly. Prices were fair. Food were solid. I highly recommend this place!

A combination of a thunderstorm and an early dinner meant the place was empty, but Marco and other staff welcomed us warmly all the same. We had the antipasti Parmigiana Di Melanzane (fried eggplant with cheese) and enjoyed the mains Pasta Al Forno (baked pasta with beef and peas), Pasta Con Le Polpette E Salsa Di Pomodoro (spaghetti with meatballs - not pictured), and Turbante Di Pesce Spada "A Beccafico" (baked swordfish). These were also with the Casa Rosso wine and Birra Siciliana beer both blonde and red. All food was superb. The fried eggplant was flavorful and fresh, and the bread was crispy and savory. The baked pasta was rich, the spaghetti and meatballs were nostalgic, and the swordfish was delectable. Safe to say we all cleared our plates easily. We wish nothing but the very best for Marco and his restaurant. This food was some of the best we had on our two week stay throughout Italy. The atmosphere, staff, and of course the amazing food made for a great experience that we would recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced homestyle Sicilian meal.

The waiter is very friendly and invite us to have lunch, and menu price look reasonable so let's go for it. We ordered clam and mussels. So amazing and yummy, especially the soup! I really want to finish all of it. The scallop spaghetti is also very yummy. I love this place. Good vibe, friendly service, and most important is the food quality. 5 stars for sure. For dinner in peak season, try to make a reservation as the restaurant is very small. We arrived before our reservation time and were seated immediately inside and greeted warmly by the restaurant owner. We ordered a bottle of wine to start (most under 20 Euros for a 75 ML bottle). For appetizers we ordered the cheese with honey for 13 Euros, absolutely amazing! We also combined this with the local olive oil and fresh bread brought to the table to start as well. For our second course we chose two pastas, the Penne Alla Amatriciana (I think it was around 12 Euros), and the Spaghetti Alla Carbonara (I think it was around 12 Euros as well). Both had extremely fresh homemade ingredients and were out of this world and extreme attention to care in the preparation. For our entree we split the breaded pork chop (I think it was around 20 Euros), including a side of potatoes (similar to the steak fries that you would see in the U.S.) The service was absolutely amazing and we loved dining alongside the owner and his family and meeting the cat that also lives at the restaurant and comes by to greet you during the meal as well. It truly was like you were dining at the home of the owner and is a must try if you are in Venice!
