I've received flowers from La Belle Bloom twice now. Both arrangements were so beautiful upon arrival, but especially this last one was a total disappointment just two days afterwards. It was all shriveled up just 48 hours after delivery (see photo), and what made it worse was the that it cost $80 for a supposed 30-32 stems in the premium designer's choice arrangement, but there was only 17. Two of the flowers were quite large, but that doesn't really make up for the fact that it's still substantially less than what was promised. I love shopping local, and getting flowers locally, but I'm not sure I can recommend La Belle Bloom to anyone again. The price for the quality and quantity is just not there. read more

After a brief explanation of the style I wanted and Mom's approval on the price, we placed our order and it was ready for pick-up two days later! I arrived to the absolutely ADORABLE cart in Little Italy on a rainy day to a friendly, smiling face asking if I needed help with anything. I told her I had placed an order and she immediately knew who I was and what I was there for. When she presented the completed arrangements I was in AWE! First off, they were absolutely stunning and perfect in every way, and second, it was like they had crawled in my head and grabbed the images I was imagining and mimicked them exactly! How could she possibly know EXACTLY what I wanted from such a brief, uneducated description?! I was amazed. I'm so bummed I don't remember the woman's name that helped me, but she was so nice and walked the arrangements to my car with me and even gave me a box to put them in for stability and to avoid spillage. Much appreciated! When I brought the arrangements to the restaurant the next day I got SO many compliments on them! Not just from my guests, but also from other patrons in the dining room! They commented on how amazing they smelled and how beautiful they were. I proudly announced that they were from La Belle Bloom (as if I had known all along that Claudia and her team were as wonderful as they are) many people made note of it on their napkins! This is the most adorable flower kiosk in Little Italy, located next to one coffee shop, and with a more than adorable seller. I know, there are many stands during the Little Italy mercato of Saturdays, but it is just not the same as the wow factor a well designed kiosk offers. I like the way she wrapped my flower, with simple brown paper and a cotton thread in silver color. The whole ensemble looks like from a movie shot at a Parisian street. Lovely. I just paid $200 for an arrangement of flowers for my wife that isn't significantly better than I could have gotten from wholefoods and realistically, even with this being San Diego, should have cost about $65. I appreciate local small business, but will not be returning and will recommend to my friends to avoid this place. My husband and I received a series of bad news two hours before he had to fly out to San Diego for five days and it was hard knowing we'd have to lift one-another up from afar. In search of something to make him smile, I began perusing Yelp for a locally-owned flower shop that could send peonies, our wedding flowers, to his hotel. I quickly stumbled across La Belle Bloom and I'm so glad I did! While peonies weren't doable since they weren't in season yet (it is February... I knew it was a long shot), Claudia suggested some of the other spring-like flowers she currently had in stock. What struck me about her selection, is the uniqueness of the flowers she carries! Flowers like anemone and parrot tulips, are certainly a unique break from the mold and I appreciate that she strives to put together a bouquet that really stands out. Plus, I truly appreciate that Claudia was willing to work with my limited budget. The flowers were delivered to my husband's room before he checked in. And, despite being a guy who's not as into cut flowers as this girl, he's enjoying having them in his hotel room all week. Thank you Claudia, for bringing some happiness to the day. Ordering a bouquet from a local-to-San-Diego-shop, while in Iowa, to be delivered to a hotel in San Diego... seemed highly complicated. I can't believe I just found this place, but I LOVE it! Claudia was very helpful in finding me a nice bouquet for a birthday dinner that didn't break the bank. All of her flowers were very pretty and I like the details she adds with twine and paper wrapping instead of the the cheap grocery store plastic. Amazing experience at La Bella Bloom.. I was scrolling through my pictures and just realized that I haven't yet posted a review for this floral shop and how couldn't I! I was coming from the airport and needed a quick stop shop for flowers but didn't want to settle for any basic bouquet, yelped for any local floral shops and found this cute little joint. I walked in and was greeted by Natasha? I believe that was her name and she asked me what I had in mind and what my price range was. I really didn't have much in mind but I told her what my price limit was and she quickly just put things together like smooth magic. There were not many floral options as I'm probably guessing they were waiting on shipment but Natalie threw some things together and I was and am still so obsessed! I asked if she had any vases and she showed me the options and I stuck with a cute little mason jar for an additional $5. This spectacular bouquet cost me a total of $25 which I think is reasonable for how great and alive it looked.
