I never thought I'd be writing this after being a loyal customer for over four years, but my experience today completely changed how I view La Belle Nail Bar. From the moment my service began, it was clear that the technician, Erik, was inexperienced and not ready to perform nail services safely. While filing off my existing set (which had been done at this same location just two weeks prior--something I clearly communicated), the drill repeatedly rolled onto my skin, causing pain multiple times. This wasn't a one-time accident; it continued throughout the process. I provided a photo reference and calmly tried several times to confirm nail sizing, but my requests were ignored. When I pointed out that the nails did not resemble the photo and asked for them to be shorter, Erik said he would cut them--yet instead proceeded to apply the wrong nail color altogether. This made no sense, especially considering this was a Gel-X almond set. By the time I firmly got his attention, the service felt too far gone to correct. What was most disappointing was that no solution or resolution was ever offered. Despite being unhappy, I still offered to pay for the removal and mentioned I would return to see the original nail technician who had previously done a set I loved. However, that decision ended immediately when that same technician made it clear he would not help me and instead chose to compliment another client's nails while I was visibly dissatisfied. This experience was incredibly unprofessional and disheartening. I truly loved this location, but respect for a client's comfort, safety, and requests should be the bare minimum--especially when services aren't free. Sadly, I won't be returning.
I got a gel manicure and pedicure. My pedicure was perfectly adequate but my manicure was something else. I just wish that if the nail tech is unable to produce the results of a design they should just say so instead of giving clients sloppy work. I'm including a picture of what i asked for and what I ended up with. Now I have to go on a week long trip with nails that I don't like.
I had an awful experience at this nail salon. I went in on a Friday to get both my nails and feet done, and just a few days later, the gel polish started to chip and mess up. I called them to let them know, and the man on the phone told me to come back in. Since I couldn't make it until the following Friday, I explained the situation and planned to return then. Fast forward to today, when I arrive, and the same man tells me that no one wants to fix my nails because I couldn't remember who did them. I was shocked, so I asked if it's their policy not to fix mistakes they've made, and the woman there responded by saying my toenail was broken and that she could "glue" it. Seriously? This was after my nails had chipped in only three days of having gel, which is supposed to last longer than that. They said they can file them instead of redoing the nails. The lady tried to argue me down about my nail being broken & it wasn't broke. The man told me it would be 5 min to fix, I ended up waiting 20 min. The man sat the whole time and didn't help a customer. As a Yelp Elite member, I strive to be honest and authentic in my reviews, and the fact that they refused to take responsibility for their work was beyond frustrating. I absolutely do not recommend this nail bar. Save your time and money and go somewhere that values their customers.
Amazing service! My 5 year old and I had a great experience. The staff were very nice and welcoming, and most definitely very attentive! The vibe was calming and relaxing, which is great after a hectic day!
I tried this place after work on Friday , I got a gel builder with extension. By Sunday morning I had two of my nails polish peel off so I went back Sunday evening to fix them. Now it's Monday and another 2 nails have peeled, and one of the extension nails fell off. I paid $80 for a set that barely has lasted me 4 days. Unfortunately I won't be back and it's disappointing that I paid that price for something that I thought would last me until valentines day.
Horrible. Paid $170 for mani/ pedi combo for 2 ppl. Instead of accommodating due to them using a non drying polish (that is still not dry after 2 1/2hours), they are telling me to come back in to pay $10 extra dollars for gel. Then told me regular polish never dries. Not true. I would not recommend going there unless you are ok with being upcharged. Total waste of time and money on nye. Smh

This was my go to pedicure spot since it's close to my house. They usually do a good job, but lately they somehow alwayyyys end up cutting my skin. The woman doing my pedicure was really nice and made conversation with me, and even took out my ingrown. But both of my pinky toes and one big toe have cuts, my pinky toe has the worst one from her trying to remove too much cuticle to the point where she broke my skin. I still tipped my usual $10 because I get the signature pedicure. It was an okay service, but it was hard to enjoy it with the cuts on my toes burning throughout the entire service. I'm sad to write this review because I really like this place, it just feels like they have been so careless lately and always end up cutting me.

Rude. - She finished a spa pedicure in 25 mins - The pedicure was sloppy! She doesn't know how to paint nails properly. - She left so many cuticles and painted over them - The pedicure was terrible! I won't be back. - Not worth $26... did not tip - Parking taken up by jiu-jitsu business next door

These were my Halloween nails a few years back. This salon is very clean, they're friendly and there's hardly ever a wait. I usually only get my toes done now and they always do an amazing job. I'm glad to have found a luxurious, well priced, and consistent salon near my house!
I went there in March and got a gel manicure. I didn't realize I had a nail infection, and it lasted for about two more months. It was my first time getting a nail infection from a nail salon, so I didn't even notice the green infection until the gel was almost grown out. The salon is clean, the vibe is welcoming, and you can tell they really care about their work. I've been coming here for 5 years now and can't get better nail salon service in South Bay. I come here with my bestie every month for our favorite Signature Spa pedicures. The staff is welcoming and the facility is clean. They have plenty of massage chairs to sit in and lots of nail polish colors to choose from. The signature spa pedi ($45) includes an exfoliating scrub, an oil massage, a callus remover, and a refreshing leg mask with hot towels. The techs are friendly and they have interesting YouTube videos playing on their TVs. They even offer mini water bottles during your service. I've always left a satisfied customer, which keeps me coming back time and time again. Would recommend! read more

Never a disappointment! I asked for natural acrylic set and that's what I got The service is great, everyone is so nice and the boss is the best! Prices are fair. Definitely got my money's worth. read more
Modern, clean and hygienic. I found them by accident while going to the acupuncturist in the area. The wait for service was less than 3 minutes and the equipment is very modern. The prices for a pedicure are a bit on the higher end, but I can honestly say it may be worth it for the level of service and care. I really liked how the tools they used to work on me where clean and hygienic. I used to visit another place that charged around $35 but tried to use the same clippers with all customers without sanitizing them. Would definitely come again but maybe just once a month. read more

I got a acrylic pedi done here a month ago with healthy toe nail and now i lost my toenail because a lousy job was done. I was charged separately for everything so my total came out to $70 for just a pedi. I am really upset and now will need to wait months for health nail to grow back. read more

First timer ! .... okay I'm not going to lie as I waited in the waiting area to get a gel pedicure I was thinking I was cheating on my original nail salon but girlll let me tell you ! I think I've now made the decision to return for my services here instead of my old place ... I only waited about 10 minutes to be called up to a chair, I hate having to wait but I would wait again for this . The woman who took care of me was so kind I believe her name was Jean because her supplies had "Jean" on everything haha . Love it , I originally come in for a full white pedicure but this time I got Frenchies :) ! And they came out soooo beautiful I feel like she made me like my feet now haha . She was great ! This place is overall very welcoming and very clean, I would most definitely recommend coming here ! read more

This has been my to go spot, but honestly, I've never felt like a welcome vibe or even get asked if I want to use the massage chair/ turn it on for me lol or am I even allowed to use it. Anyway, I got a pedicure with Callus Remover $34. Gel Mani w/ Fairy Dust $45...plus $10 tip.. I did notice the lady doing my toes used a big buffer that was shared with others looked dusty white & then used a small disposable one... honestly, i dont think they sanitize the tools they use and somehow my toes were hurting, and once I was home & few days later still swollen & blisters :/ ... obviously something happened. But with that being said. I won't be back luckily it hasnt gotten worse yet to a major infection so beware. :( read more

I hate writing bad reviews for small businesses, but I can't even begin to say how bad this place was... I came in Friday, April 9th with my little sister to get a pedicure to celebrate for the start of spring break. I am a licensed nail tech with my own place, so I know how nail salons operate. My sister never got a pedicure in her life, so I thought it would be a nice small treat for her. I do have to mention that we're both fluent in Vietnamese, but pretended we only spoke English. We walked in at around 2pm, and was greeted by a shouting lady from the back of the salon. They told us to wait 30 minutes, so we told them we'd go get a drink and come back. 30 minutes later, we came back and got seated on the pedi chairs. They filled up the tub, made sure we were comfortable, and left us hanging. About 15 minutes later and a lady came over to start on my sisters pedicure. I was confused why they did her pedicure first when I was getting gel (which takes longer), but I just didn't say anything. Right as soon as they started to polish my sisters toes was when the lady came over to start on my pedicure. I believe she was the owner, because that's what it seemed like by the way she was talking to the employees. She was working on her clients pedicure and came over to start mine. She did NOT wash her hands, or grab new implements... seriously??? During Covid?! I was beyond shocked, because at this point my feet have been soaking in the water which turned cold by then and she came straight over without washing her hands or wearing gloves at all. Disgusting. Throughout the service, it was very rushed. I understand that they were busy, but she was rushing so bad that she was hurting me. She barely trimmed my cuticles yet managed to nick me. The massage part was just cruel... she used all her force to massage me to the point that it hurt so bad. She said "wow you're very strong that you can handle my hands". Ummmm ok.. I was about to switch to regular polish because at this point I was so done. She went to grab me a hot towel and dropped it on the floor right next to me, then said in Vietnamese out loud "oh it would be so funny if I just used this for her". Yeah, it would probably be really funny seeing her reaction if state board walks in. Luckily for me, she grabbed a new hot towel. As she was painting my toes, she shouted out loud in Vietnamese "oh my god this girls toes are so hard to paint". My toenails are quite small and I understand it's hard for inexperienced nail techs to paint, but was it necessary for her to shout it out? Yikes. When we finally got up to pay, I said thank you to her in Vietnamese. The look on her face was priceless, because she probably didn't expect us to be Vietnamese. I wish I got her name, because someone like her shouldn't even have the privilege to work on people. There was no Covid safety precautions beside the plexiglass, which she did NOT use for me. I tipped her $10 for a $32 pedicure, which she did not deserve at all. Back to my sister; she got cut by her nail tech, and it's been almost a week and her cuticle has not healed yet. It got infected with pus coming out. I'm beyond disappointed how this place treated us, considering they have 4.5 stars. My poor sister had a terrible experience for her first pedicure ever. There were so many more things wrong about this place that I could write an entire book about our experience. We will never be returning, and I will definitely never go to a cheap chop shop ever again. read more
