If I could give this place -10 stars I would, I came here to treat my GIRLFRIEND out because she wanted her toes done. We came in waited 20 mins that's not a problem because when we came in it was busy and we didn't have an appointment. My GIRLFRIEND finally came and sat on the chair, didn't quite get the lady name but here's a picture of her , my girlfriend got on the chair about 5 minutes after this other customer but some how she finished WAAYY before the other customer, how does that work? There's always suppose to have a time limit for a pedicure, IK THIS BECAUSE MY PARENTS OWN A COUPLE OF NAIL SHOP IN SAC !! anyways I let that slide but then this part I could NOT let slide....so the lady she was like "friend, you guys friends?" I said "no that's my girlfriend" later on when my girlfriend was finished with her pedicure the lady started talking shit about me saying "it's like a man" in Vietnamese mind you they DO NOT know I was viet so I kept quiet until I knew for sure what they was talking about... later on she kept saying "she's like a man I asked her if they were friend she said that's my girlfriend like wtf" the OWNER basically said "you shoulda said these motherfuckers in front of there face" and she continued to say "it's like a man" so I confronted her saying you know I understand what you said right ? And she goes huh all confused , and the owner chimes in saying oh she's saying she understand so she tried covering it up saying oh no I was just saying she's your friend I look at her like bitch wtf I'm fucking Vietnamese I can go off on you in Vietnamese too, she kept making up stories like I'm dumb but my nationality is Vietnamese, I'm fluent in Vietnamese and I'm fluent in English I can translate what she said but they seemed to have a problem translating to English, I got very angry but luckily my girlfriend was there to calm me down because all hell would of break loose, I'm not the type to cause a scene but that was just UNACCEPTABLE! These nail places will talk shit about you ! They will smile all in your face and talk shit in there language ! How are you the owner of this shop but also discriminating ? It's 2019 YOU GUYS SHOULD GROW UP!!, we were a paying customer ! After we paid and we walked out and one of the customer inside came out and talked to my girlfriend and I saying that what they did was unacceptable and that was just sick she even started crying because she knows how that feels she said she's getting her nails done only and NEVER returning to this place! I usually never leave reviews but this unfortunately called for it. I think the appointment lasted 35 min, I did a manicure with gel nails, and the worker was nice at first but started getting very frustrated after I told her to cut a little more of the cuticle, hang nails, and dry skin. Fair enough I warned her about my sensitive blood vessels around the nails but this stuff was nowhere near the edges. Extremely sloppy job, with the manicure, and with the gel. The gel leaked practically on every nail, going over and around the nail. She kept blaming my short nails, but this has NEVER happened with any other nail technicians I've been to. I asked her to be careful and to cut the gel off at least around the nail and it was as if she didn't see it in the first place? HOW CAN ONE SAY THIS IS PROFESSIONAL WORK? Very careless and no attention to detail. She unfortunately got very frustrated with me as I tried to still be nice and kind but after I left the salon I had realized that it was not ok to treat clients that way, and to blame my nails for being short to justify her EXTREMELY careless job. read more

I had to go in twice because the first time I came in and got them done with in a couple hours I already had more than half of them come off, they funny thing is she missed the most important step which was to buff them out so the polish would stick. I got a jell mani. I had to come in again and luckily they were nice enough to fix them, but then again in a couple of days they are coming off. I went with my best friend. I will NOT go back. The lady hurt my toe pretty bad, I started to bleed. She tried to cover it up, so I didn't see it. I didn't need to see it, I felt it. It hurt. I got no apology or explanation. Not even a response when I asked her. After the pedicure they didn't want to put my sandals on my feet so they had me walk barefoot on the dirty floor to dry my toes. Never provided the pedicure slippers but they sure provided them to the other people who got pedicures. Again when I asked why I didn't get slipper, I got no response. My toes hold nail polish very well. Unfortunately my polish chipped off on 4 different toes within 2 days. Clearly the polish was old. While we were there, a lady (later found it was the manager) was nagging the workers over and over. She yelled at one of them in front of everyone. Another lady said that it happens often. Not sure why that lady kept coming back. I will not go back because I felt I was treated poorly for the amount I paid for. I refused to leave a tip because of the injury, walking on dirty floors, chipping polish and not answering any of my inquiries. read more

Walked in at 6pm for a full set and a pedicure. Lina was very nice and attentive. I didn't realize that they closed at 7pm so I could tell they were ready to go by the time I walked in however I did not feel rushed at all! Lina waited until my nails were fully dry and offered to give me a discount on the powder color next time I come in for a fill. I requested coffin shaped nails which came out nice but I feel like she could've done a better job with the shaping. I just can't believe the worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop. I walk in and was told NOT to sign in ON SIGN ON SHEET. A woman approches and questions if I have an appointment. I ask do I need an appointment? Do you take walk-ins I replied she says yes if we have time have a seat in the second chair number two I sit in chair. Off the top I felt judged as if I did not belong. Once I sat down she of course asked what I would like? I replied I would like a fill and 1 fix of a broken nail. She Asked what kind of paint I would like and just started discussing prices and decided on Gel and agreed to the price. I tried to explain to her that I was open to her artistic impression with my nails I like my nails sometimes to be individually different. She seemed extremely confused at what I was asking of her and really all I wanted her to do was be an artist and which in her position she should be. She continued to talk about the cost of my nails I told her that cost was not in a problem. She continued about the cost. Now I felt offened. As if I could not pay for the services. I decided to leave feeling completely unwanted. I will never return here and suggest that you do not go here I can't wait to see the friend that referred me here so I can let her know about my experience I'm sure she will be completely disappointed that her favorite shop treated me this way. Funny how I keep getting responses to this review in defense of this nail shop one even said I made the girl cry not sure when she was crying when she was talking crap with her other employees very loudly in their own language or when she told me to get out of her store because I felt unwanted. Try to make an appointment, because they do get busy but they do have walk-in availability too. I just like to know when my toes and fingers are going to be beautiful again, so I make appointments. I have been to quite a few of the girls here but Tammy is my manicurist of choice. Annie is the best she always greets you when you walk in and never forgets to tell you to have a nice day/weekend/etc. They do a great job with nails, pedis and waxing! if you haven't gone yet you definitely should, TONS of powder colors to choose from, more than i have seen at any other place! A little pricey but you get what you pay for! My acrylics always stay on, i am very hard on my nails and they never budge!! PS no mater what salon you go to they will always talk in Vietnamese, doesn't mean they are talking about their clients, i have talked to every one of the manicurists and they are lovely ladies, don't always assume the worst just because you cant understand them when they talk to one another. read more

The place is clean and staffed well. I paid $35 for a 45 minute spa pedicure. It was worth it. My sister's technician was very nice and thorough while mine was rude and even answered her cell phone and talked on it for a while all in the midst of trying to do my pedicure. Not very nice. They also do not allow you to add a tip on to a credit card or debit, at least that is what the sign says, but then when I went to pay for mine and my sisters, she asked it I had a tip and asked if I wanted to add it on. I said my sister was paying the tips, she thing started speaking in her own language all I caught was tip. I get they make a lot of money off their tips, but imo my technician did not deserve one. read more

Since this occurrence, the owner has tried to rectify this situation by offering a free pedicure to my father, which was very kind. We have talked back and forth and it would seem to me that she is making a sincere effort to work on the treatment of her staff and customers. I love this place because they are affordable but really try to give that high end experience. There's a place just around the corner around the same price but doesn't have the service like la belle. La belle definitely gives you that high end experience. It's not super big or fancy, but they deliver on service and experience. It's relaxing and anyone who gets there nails done knows every place is very different. Kim does my nails and always does a great job. I never leave disappointed. Some places feel rushed, but La belle is all about relaxation. They will bring you a drink and make sure the water is the right temp for a pedi. The pedicures are the best. I love that they have a menu with several different choices for your pedi. Best of all, they have the paraffin wax! Not all places offer it. They have there pedis down to science too. I had gone here for probably 6+ years up until the beginning of 2020. I have always been a good customer, showing up on time and when scheduled. Rosie had done my nails for years but decided to stop getting acrylic nails due to the roughness and rudeness of Rosie. I have arthritis in my hands, but they are not crippled. Rosie would grab my hands and slam them on the table because he didn't like that my finger would not go that direction. Honestly I was paying attention and it just became unbearable how rough she was on my fingers. I explained I had arthritis but I don't think she really cared. Then I started having just a manicure done by Lina who had always done my pedicures and she was the straw that broke the camels back! Yelling at me in front of all clients in the shop to PAY ATTENTION!! She slammed my hand down making it hit the nail dryer and messing up the polish and then proceeded to make a scene that now I've messed up the polish!!! As she hastily grabs my hand to fix it. It took all I had to not unleash on her for her rudeness and she knew I was not happy about the way she had just treated me. Soooo Rude! I will never go back and never refer anyone there. They actually messed up my appointment time but I was able to get them done the same day just an hour later. I was really upset by this at first until they did my nails. They are AMAZING.
