Do they have brunch on the weekend? Where can I find the menu?

No, no brunch. You can find the menu in the photos. They just recently updated their menu but it is relatively the same.

The grilled octopus originally came out overcooked and tasted like dry rubber chicken. The oysters were even more disappointing--the first batch was slimy and tasted off. You know when an oyster is not fresh, and these definitely did not taste fresh. To the server's credit, he insisted the kitchen remake both dishes. However, we had already finished eating by the time the replacements came out, so it was too little, too late. In my opinion, both dishes should have been removed from the bill given the quality issues. Service was extremely slow from the beginning. We waited almost 20 minutes before the server even came by to check on us. I had read other reviews mentioning poor service here, and unfortunately, it seems there is some truth to that. Interestingly, the server became much more attentive and apologetic only after I told him how disappointed we were with the octopus and oysters. We also witnessed another family leave visibly upset, with someone throwing their receipt at the greeter. I have no idea what happened, but it certainly didn't add much confidence to the experience. Then came the final surprise: a mandatory 20% gratuity was added to the bill, along with a resort fee that had not been disclosed to us upfront. I asked the server why the resort fee wasn't mentioned, and his response was essentially, "Sorry, that's just how it is here." I didn't even know this was part of a resort?! That is poor business practice. If additional fees are going to be added to the bill, they should be clearly disclosed before the customer orders. The grilled branzino was honestly the highlight of the meal and the one dish I would happily order again. Unfortunately, one great dish wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing oysters, octopus, sangria, slow service, and surprise fees. Overall, this was not the dining experience we expected, and I wouldn't rush back.

La Tasca G is such a great little restaurant…read more It is actually a Local's Gem. The owner ... Guisella, a Cuban with Spanish roots, actually just came back after living in Spain for many years and wanted to bring to Miami a little of what she loves from her time there... her love for the food and tapas, bar, etc. This humble restaurant is located in an unassuming area in the west Hialeah area... but packing a ton of flavor into their dishes. Croquettes, Paella, chorizo, octopus... and so on... everything was delicious. You must come here if you want to have a good time and a great meal. Prices are on the cheaper side compared to other local restaurants that do not compare on food quality. (LA Tasca G is it!) Pro tip... ask for items of the menu like matrimonio pincho (a bread toast with tomatoes, onion, anchovies with an olive oil vinaigrette) and many more. The ceviche is also great and only $9.00 This restaurant was a great surprise for which I hope I can enjoy many more times. 2 thumbs up

The service is very good as they offer an outside window for coffee, shakes, and small order pick ups. I feel obligated to write a review for this cafeteria/ restaurant based on my own experience…read more I have read some reviews that say service here is bad. In my experience is actually the opposite. Maybe it is due to the fact that this restaurant changed ownership or management a few years ago and things seem to have improved since. Service is fast, friendly and attentive. Other reviews said that they pay no attention to detail as far as food presentation..... "it is a cafeteria" not a Michelin rated restaurant. Having said that, quality of food here is good, it is plentiful and inexpensive. Most clients here are from warehouses around the area and it only opens from early morning until like 6 pm. They bake their own Cuban bread on premises and have lots of daily specials ranging from like 6.50 to 9.00 dollars. Their Ajiaco, a Cuban soup, is delicious. Also very good here is Rabo encendido (oxtail stew) among others. But almost everything is good here... rice, beans, sandwiches and batidos. Having a coffee after lunch? Mary's cortadito is very good.... and it doesn't lack presentation either. Cold beers are always available. Thumbs up.

Service was above average when I went with a small group. They do offer music on Friday's and Saturday's starting at 8pm, some people have warned that they charge cover, I can't verify this. They came to fill up waters, were very nice, just that they were a little slow. The place is nice and they must have live music because there is a small stage at the corner setup for a musician, maybe a band of 2 people. Now the food. Overall expensive for what you get, except for a couple of things. The appetizers were actually good. We had croquetas de bacalao (cod fish croquettes) and croquetas de Chistorra. The chistorra croquettes were quite good. Each order brought 6 small croquettes for $12 each. So each bite was $2. Fried calamari were ok but way too pricey at $14 for the quality. Maybe acceptable if it was from Dominos pizza at half the price. The grilled octopus was good but at $24 for one 8-inch tentacle, it's a bit much. Overall, appetizers were good. For entrees we ordered Sardinas fritas at ajillo. These were good and for $14 I think the price was fair. Fabada Asturiana for $13 was not good. It felt as it was made a day ago. The fabes were overcooked and mushy. The morcilla was not of great quality. It had a piece of pork belly fat that was not very appealing and it didn't have neither the taste or traces of lacón (ham hock). The Callos à la madrileña were also a letdown. Not enough broth. It was made with garbanzo (chickpeas) which is not traditional. It has chistorra instead of chorizo. And the tripe did not taste great and at $18 it was even worse. Lastly we also got the grilled chicken with potatoes. $24 was a bit much. This was probably worth no more than $14. The chicken was cooked ok, but they left a lot of the nerves, fat, and cartilage so it was not a great experience eating it. We are of spanish descent and eaten great Spanish food. This restaurant unfortunately was not a great experience in the food quality. Some things were good, some just bad, and overall was way to expensive for what it is. I probably won't be coming back.
