Paella was definitely the highlight Super tasty and worth ordering. But the staff wasn't friendly at all, which really killed the vibe. And finding a bug in our cocktail? Yeah... that was the moment the night officially went downhill.

I'm giving Españolita three out of three stars. Overall, it was a decent experience, though a little on the pricey side. The service was good, maybe a little too good at times, like you could tell they were eager for something in return, which made it feel a bit over the top. The staff was attentive and friendly, but it didn't quite feel completely relaxed because of that energy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was relatively packed, and you could feel the buzz of people moving around, trying to get through, which added to the lively atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Despite the chaos, the vibes are solid and give the place character, making it worth a visit if you enjoy a busy, energetic environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Everything comes together well enough to earn the three-star rating, even if it is not the most laid-back or budget-friendly option. The food is honestly something that I'm not remembering too well.

Feels a bit touristy with the aggressive hosts outside, but on the plus side it does have prime real estate on the busy restaurant row. The paella seems like the specialty here, taking a prime spot on the menu and appearing on many tables. It's a bit slow for the paella to be made, so hopefully your date is a conversationalist! Paella del Mar: An impressive date night dish to share. The two halves of lobster are especially eye catching and they're easy to eat since it's cut down the middle with the claw partially cracked. Lots of clams, mussels, shrimp and calamari in the mix to ensure you get your seafood fix. The rice was very flavorful from the lobster broth and saffron. Only downside was that there was no socarrat on the bottom, which is disappointing since I love that crispy rice.

The servers were all very kind and helpful. The food was good -- especially the branzino and seafood paella together. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibes on this street are always great because there's so many other restaurants and people walking around![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Had a great birthday dinner here. Our server was amazing she made our experience so much fun with complementary shots and getting all the other servers to sing us happy birthday. We sat outside and watched the people walk by. I will definitely would come back.

They're definitely very aggressive with recruiting guests, both in-person and virtually. I got calls and texts about cancellations and was even accused of not canceling--until I provided screenshots. It was more funny than annoying, but still odd. When we walked by, they were also clearly trying to make eye contact and draw people in (not physically, but you can tell). We were still curious, so we went in. Besides the pushy recruiting, the staff was friendly and, objectively, very attractive. The food itself was just okay. We tried the seafood tower, and it was underwhelming. You can usually tell it's going to be mid when the oysters aren't identified. The tower also included cooked and seasoned clams and mussels, but I personally prefer them fresh and unseasoned--the flavors felt like they were masking a lack of freshness. What I really wish we knew upfront was that the tower was charged per person. The menu only said MP, so getting a double charge on the bill was confusing. They explained that the portion served was for two people, which was... odd but fine. Seafood paella was okay, salty, but the pulpo was good. Overall, an okay experience. I'd probably rate it a 2, but giving it a 4 so this review doesn't mysteriously disappear. I have a theory they might be deleting Yelp reviews to maintain their 4-star average, because it doesn't make sense that they only have a couple hundred reviews here while their Google profile shows a 5-star average with 15,000 reviews. Honestly, that huge gap is what convinced us to try the place. Definitely an odd experience. Staff was nice and a great spot for people watching.

The skirt steak was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. My friend had octopus appetizer that he said was amazing. Fun atmosphere an Español Way. Definitely worth checking it out.

Española Way has such a charming, vibrant atmosphere, and our experience at Espanolita was cozy and enjoyable from start to finish. We had a few drinks, started with the grilled octopus, and ordered the paella del mar. The seafood tasted fresh and was really good. The paella could have been even better with a bit more of that toasted crust, but overall everything was delicious. The service was great as well . [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's also a perfect spot for people-watching.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Would definitely come back when we're back in Miami!

the food is very good and well priced but the place itself is very overwhelming. The tables are extremely close together, the waiters can barely walk through, and the bathroom is rundown.

Restaurant so expense. If your guy doesn't have more than $200 don't ever come here. Look at my bill . Only me my wife and my kids. Bill total cost more than $500.00 Im Never back again. Tourist trap at here This bill with out lobster and special food

My friends and I had just returned from a cruise and had one evening to enjoy in Miami. As…read morecarnivores, we thought this restaurant would be an appropriate choice for dinner. We were so surprised and impressed by the service, quality, value, and execution of food. Alberto was our main waiter who was supported by additional staff who were friendly and attentive- simply professional and hospitable. We tried the ham croquettes, melted cheese with chorizo, and fried calamari for starters; and the tomahawk, rib eye, and picana steaks as our mains. The croquettes were so delicious with two dipping sauces- the green herbal one was a perfect pairing. The melted cheese was excellent, prepared and presented in a cast iron skillet with crisp edges. The fried calamari was delightful as well with large fresh pieces and accompanied by fried zucchini chips amidst the calamari. The stars of the show were the meats that were prepared just the way we wanted and like. Each person in our group ranked the meats in different order but we loved the taste with the sides- sweet potato fries, regular fries, grilled corn, and the salt and sauces. The meal was better than expected and just what we needed. We left very happy, very satisfied, and very grateful for the experience. Thanks to Alberto and team!

To start, I was trying to eat at Tapelia and when we asked to be seated we were put in Ole Ole…read morerestaurant which was confusing but we went with it as we didn't want to sit outside. A short recap of the restaurant is the food is not worth the wait at all! We placed our order of drinks, appetizers and main dishes at 2:57. The restaurant was at maybe 60-70% capacity. Our drinks came relatively fast. When we noticed our patrons next to us had already almost finished their appetizers despite being seated AFTER we placed our order we started getting annoyed that our guacamole appetizer hadn't even appeared despite it now being 3:20! When Henry, the manager, asked if we were ok, we asked where our appetizers were in a respectful way and our waitress, Adriana, came by immediately saying, "you only ordered 5 min ago" with such atrocious attitude that wouldn't even be suited for an off Highway Diner. Henry did a great job trying to lighten the experience, and our guacamole did arrive shortly after. Then at 3:45 when we hadn't seen our waitress once since the previous encounter, and our main dishes hadn't arrived we went straight for Henry and he said, "oh you're food is done, are you ready for them?" As if we had to ask versus them arriving when done. They came immediately after. Henry offered to remove one of our appetizers for the trouble but did not. Which is fine, we hadn't expected it, though it was more just annoying as he said he would. I love to tip good service, though this is a prime example of why it is not ok for 20% to be automatically included in a check. The patrons next to us had a different server and their food came out with great time and they seemed to have the experience we were hoping for when we arrived. So I would have happily tipped their server 20%, however Adriana did not deserve hers and by automatically getting it there is no way for her to be motivated to improve. Onto food, three of us ordered a salad with steak, I forget the name but the steak was so hard to cut and even harder to chew. The other in our group ordered the Chiro Burger? And there was chorizo in it, and lacked flavor per him. The guacamole was delicious as were the fries but the melted cheese with chorizo was not good. Miami has such amazing food, so I'd skip this place.

CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!…read more Dined on a Wednesday night with reservations, place was full by 8 PM. From the moment you walk in the staff are nothing but welcoming and kind. The small space has such a cozy charm that makes you feel like you're dining in the heart of Italy. Our server Mirko gave us time to review the menu and made sure to answer any questions we had. He was very friendly and attentive without overly hovering, and made sure everything arrived while it was still hot from the kitchen. The food was SPECTACULAR! A meal I will certainly never forget. The "Fiocchetti Pere & Parmigiano" was sweet but had a bite from the black sesame; I've never had anything like it. And the tiramisu was delectable without being too overly sweet. Even the wine was delicious! Can't wait to visit again.

All the staff was amazing and helpful, but our waited Pedro truly made the experience. We started off with the Bruschetta Crostini, which was amazing as someone who loves truffle, and the Mozzarella Fritta. Both were amazing but what really blew us away was the Tonnarelli alla Ruota, which was served table side in a parmesan wheel, and the Agnolotti Piemontesi. They even brought out a Tiramisu for my birthday which I thought was insanely thoughtful. As long as this restaurant remains open they will ALWAYS have us as a customer!

After looking at the reviews I presented Mareva 1939 as my top choice. I contacted them and made a reservation for 10 people, and after the first reservation time I had to adjust with Mareva for people arriving in late because of flights. No problem for Mareva and they didn't need a deposit for the restaurant. It is in the National Hotel, next to where we are staying box 1 check. The place was beautifully decorated and staff all attentive throughout the night. That was my criteria not my boss' since the lack of good service can destroy a great meal. The food choices all were excellent but centered on tapas and Spanish cuisine which checked the second box. Served family style we all chose a number of different tapas and shared. Then large patella dishes, they were plentiful and all delicious. Lastly the price, which may seem high for those outside the area but not for those who know Miami Beach. The bill for the 10 of us that included several drinks person and enough food and desserts to leave us full came to $1,002 including tip and taxes.
