Paella very good.
Jane S.

The service was great. I love the ambiance. On Thursday night starting at 7:30 they have live music which includes Flamenco dancing and also guitar playing. The show was free to watch. The food was great we ordered the paella which was very good and we drank sangria which was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. I recommend making reservations.

Arrived with a reservation and they quickly sat us down. We ordered four tapas and a dessert. The food came out quick, hot, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was also authentic, not a modern twist on Spaniard food. The restaurant has an interesting decor and feels European as well. Highly enjoyed our night and would definitely come again!

Tried and true. We've been coming here for over a decade and every time the food is phenomenal. My favorite dish is the chicken with blue cheese sauce. The tostones with ropa vieja is always amazing. We've never had a bad meal here. The place is decorated so nicely with trinkets and sayings from Spain. The service is impeccable. Everyone is always so attentive whether it's the owner or her amazing staff. Andrea was so very sweet with us and provided wonderful service. Glad this little gem has continued to be part of the community.

We have been coming to this place since our friend Mylo established this business probably close to two decades ago. It has been under new ownership for some time. It is still a good place to come to for some Spanish tapas, a good time, great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

Excelente atención, comida excelente, en especial los garbanzos fritos! El amigo Roberto, es toda una personalidad y todo el personal, igual de atento.

I came on a Thursday evening and there is live flamenco dancing with a gentleman playing guitar and singing . Thursdays are the only day that has performances and it is free. I recommend to make reservations before Thursday because this restaurant gets super busy. There is limited seating inside but there is seating outside. However, if you sit outside you will not be able to see the performance. I ordered a shrimp and mushrooms appetizer and it was delicious. For entree I ordered a Paella Negra and a Paella de Valencia and both were very good but La Paella tasted much better. I had the Santiago dessert and it was really good. The tip was automatically included in the bill which was 20%. The server Vouluncia was very sweet and attentive. The flamenco dancer came to our table and took photos with us. I really felt like I was back in Spain with the art work, the music and the food. I loved this experience and I will definitely come back.

Exquisito, auténtico, evocativo...exquisite and authentic, evocative are some of the first words that come to my mind upon tasting the delicious dishes featured at El Pimiento. Wow! Es pequeño y el ambiente es íntimo. Loved the ambience and the intimate decor. El caldo gallego me trajo el recuerdo de mi padre que hubiese estado saboreando cada cucharada.

Some friends and I decided to have a birthday celebration at this restaurant which came highly recommended. Our waiternamame was Able. He was very friendly and fun. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. We decided on several items and we also ordered a picture of white sangria. The food was very good. See the pictures for our food items and the presentations. I would recommend this place

Friendly staff, nice service, small location. We got lucky there was an open table on a Sunday night. I will always crave some Spanish tapas (it's probably in the blood) and El Pimiento hit the spot. You can tell each dish is prepared by hands that have years and years of practice. We ordered several plates to share. The chistorra (not pictured) was devoured, the pulpo a la gallega was yummy but felt the ratio of octopus to potato could have been slightly better. The huevos rotos and the cheese cake were probably the stars of the night for me. DO NOT SKIP EITHER ONE! If I had to go without something it would probably be the sangria as it had no wow factor for me and the caldo gallego was a bit too runny for my liking. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and because I need that cheesecake in my life!

We had open table reservations so we were seated right away...the hostess was was very friendly as were our servers...we started with one guy but then we had another lady soon after. We ordered drinks to start...Pinot grigio for me and Corona for the hubby. We looked over the menu a bit and started off with 3 shareables..the eggplant with honey, shisito peppers and octopus gallega...The eggplant with honey was an interesting dish (in a good way) and very tasty...they peppers were good as well but my husband wasn't a fan of the octopus gallega. For the 2nd round, we ordered another round of drinks and then the pan con tumaca, manchego croquettes and octopus in garlic sauce. I loved the toast with tomato "jam" as well as the manchego croquettes...I would re-order both of these. My husband wasn't a fan of the octopus in garlic sauce as he felt it was a bit too salty. He also ordered another dish, the seafood salpicon and this dish he really loved! For dessert we opted for the crema catalana...similar to a creme brulee...it was good...I also had a latte which was a nice accomplishment to the dessert. After dinner we headed to their Hidden Speakeasy (behind the pantro door). In there we each had another drink to end the evening. They do have a food menu in there which was different from the restaurant. It would be fun to just come with a group of friends and chill for a while. All in all, a tasty meal and a fun date night!

All dishes are fresh and made to order. Inside is charming and you feel like your in the owners dining room. Live music and flamenco dancing nightly starting at 6 after happy hour. There's a Speakeasy too that opens at 6. Serving traditional Spanish tapas we enjoyed our dishes. Salpicon de Marisco - Calamari, scallops, shrimps, octopus, fresh peppers in a nice light red sauce. Pulpo a la Gallega - Paprika seasoned octopus served over potatoes. It was tender and delicious. They have nightly specials and Wednesday is half price Paella, so I know I need to try this. Also, can't wait to check out the speakeasy, our server told us it's behind the door marked Pantry and they serve some great craft cocktails and lite bites.

This place has great drinks! Crafted by great mixologists. I got the peachy lychee from the seasonal menu. Sweet but not too sweet. Hunger struck randomly so I decided to browse the menu. I wish the dish would've had a different veggie. The broccoli was very small. There was a lot of potatoes. Wish it was a little more portioned but it was good.

Both had cilantro aioli but that did little make either of them tasty. While the short rib meat was tender, it was boring and flavorless. The Churassco was super fatty and chewy, if there was onion jam on the sliders, well I couldn't tell. The atmosphere is chill and the outdoor seating does have greenery that provides a bit of privacy for the patio seating, but I was underwhelmed. Service was nonexistent and food was bland.

I agreed that sounded like an excellent idea. Patio Tapas and Beer was supposed to have a good happy hour 5pm-7pm so we went with that. Its located in a tough spot to get a parking spot in South Mizner area, but we got lucky and landed a spot right by the front door. They had just moved to this new location from nearby a few months ago. It still felt kinda new inside in a good way. There wasn't many people there when we arrived. We were able to easily get a couple spots at their nice oaken bar. There were a handful of friendly staff there that were quick with some wine and some of their happy hour Montaditos. We tried the sangria as well which they had a large container of on the bar. We tried the potatoes, duck breast, shrimp, and Jamon iberico and manchego. Everything was darn good, the iberico possibly the best. Oh, and the Spanish omelet was a nice bite as well. It was a nice happy hour; much better than going to the gym. I think they're all pretty good but our favorites are the piquillo relleno--a small, whole stuffed red pepper with goat cheese, the classic pan con tomate, churrasco, and cordero estofado. I would say those are the most flavorful ones and on our regular rotation. They also have an almond cake we always order that is imported from Spain. Served warm and à la mode, it has a little crusty edge and a very moist, dense crumb. Not too sweet. Sometimes they serve it drizzled with chocolate and I prefer it without.

But when my partner asked me what I really felt like I said Casa Playa or Chimney house. So we raced to get there at 9:30ish starving. Good thing we asked the kind manager first if they would still serve us food since they closed at 10.. He was kind enough to tell us they would serve us no problem. Glad we asked as the male server who who wasn't even serving us) was quick to walk by when he saw us, not to greet us but to tell us the kitchen was closed. Then seemed annoyed when the manager confirmed we were ok. Thanks buddy. Thankfully we were being served by the kind male bartender with the female server being sweet enough to bring us menus We made sure to have our order in as soon as asked. The male bartender was great. Friendly and made us feel welcome. I have been to this restaurant many times because I love Chimney house and these are the same owners. So I was truly grateful that the bartender, female server and manager were so kind. The owners do a great job as hiring such great team members. Because of the managers hospitality we asked about future events and have already planned to stay at an air bnb across the street for the upcoming soccer games. Small acts of kindness go a long way for keeping locals happy with your business. The food is always consistently amazing. The ambience is just right with the perfect lighting, set up and views.
