This was a great place. Stepping in and seeing all the amazing decor and Latin music playing, it felt like I was in Spain again. We ordered so many tapas to share and 3 pitchers of red Sangria. The Sangria was delicious, bold and dry with just a hint of sweetness just how it should be. All the tapas were amazing. So tasty and all came out hot and fresh. We had a great time. I will definitely be back when I'm in town visiting, You definitely should come and try it here. Once you step inside, you're transported to Spain

Always a great spot for light bites that will leave you full, staff is friendly and ambience takes you back to España with live music in Thursday's.

    Paella very good.

The service was great. I love the ambiance. On Thursday night starting at 7:30 they have live music which includes Flamenco dancing and also guitar playing. The show was free to watch. The food was great we ordered the paella which was very good and we drank sangria which was great. I highly recommend this restaurant. I recommend making reservations.

Arrived with a reservation and they quickly sat us down. We ordered four tapas and a dessert. The food came out quick, hot, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was also authentic, not a modern twist on Spaniard food. The restaurant has an interesting decor and feels European as well. Highly enjoyed our night and would definitely come again!

Tried and true. We've been coming here for over a decade and every time the food is phenomenal. My favorite dish is the chicken with blue cheese sauce. The tostones with ropa vieja is always amazing. We've never had a bad meal here. The place is decorated so nicely with trinkets and sayings from Spain. The service is impeccable. Everyone is always so attentive whether it's the owner or her amazing staff. Andrea was so very sweet with us and provided wonderful service. Glad this little gem has continued to be part of the community.

We have been coming to this place since our friend Mylo established this business probably close to two decades ago. It has been under new ownership for some time. It is still a good place to come to for some Spanish tapas, a good time, great service and a wonderful atmosphere.

Exquisito, auténtico, evocativo...exquisite and authentic, evocative are some of the first words that come to my mind upon tasting the delicious dishes featured at El Pimiento. Wow! Es pequeño y el ambiente es íntimo. Loved the ambience and the intimate decor. El caldo gallego me trajo el recuerdo de mi padre que hubiese estado saboreando cada cucharada.

I came on a Thursday evening and there is live flamenco dancing with a gentleman playing guitar and singing . Thursdays are the only day that has performances and it is free. I recommend to make reservations before Thursday because this restaurant gets super busy. There is limited seating inside but there is seating outside. However, if you sit outside you will not be able to see the performance. I ordered a shrimp and mushrooms appetizer and it was delicious. For entree I ordered a Paella Negra and a Paella de Valencia and both were very good but La Paella tasted much better. I had the Santiago dessert and it was really good. The tip was automatically included in the bill which was 20%. The server Vouluncia was very sweet and attentive. The flamenco dancer came to our table and took photos with us. I really felt like I was back in Spain with the art work, the music and the food. I loved this experience and I will definitely come back.

Some friends and I decided to have a birthday celebration at this restaurant which came highly recommended. Our waiternamame was Able. He was very friendly and fun. The atmosphere was quaint and cozy. We decided on several items and we also ordered a picture of white sangria. The food was very good. See the pictures for our food items and the presentations. I would recommend this place

Friendly staff, nice service, small location. We got lucky there was an open table on a Sunday night. I will always crave some Spanish tapas (it's probably in the blood) and El Pimiento hit the spot. You can tell each dish is prepared by hands that have years and years of practice. We ordered several plates to share. The chistorra (not pictured) was devoured, the pulpo a la gallega was yummy but felt the ratio of octopus to potato could have been slightly better. The huevos rotos and the cheese cake were probably the stars of the night for me. DO NOT SKIP EITHER ONE! If I had to go without something it would probably be the sangria as it had no wow factor for me and the caldo gallego was a bit too runny for my liking. We will definitely be back to try more dishes and because I need that cheesecake in my life!

We had open table reservations so we were seated right away...the hostess was was very friendly as were our servers...we started with one guy but then we had another lady soon after. We ordered drinks to start...Pinot grigio for me and Corona for the hubby. We looked over the menu a bit and started off with 3 shareables..the eggplant with honey, shisito peppers and octopus gallega...The eggplant with honey was an interesting dish (in a good way) and very tasty...they peppers were good as well but my husband wasn't a fan of the octopus gallega. For the 2nd round, we ordered another round of drinks and then the pan con tumaca, manchego croquettes and octopus in garlic sauce. I loved the toast with tomato "jam" as well as the manchego croquettes...I would re-order both of these. My husband wasn't a fan of the octopus in garlic sauce as he felt it was a bit too salty. He also ordered another dish, the seafood salpicon and this dish he really loved! For dessert we opted for the crema catalana...similar to a creme brulee...it was good...I also had a latte which was a nice accomplishment to the dessert. After dinner we headed to their Hidden Speakeasy (behind the pantro door). In there we each had another drink to end the evening. They do have a food menu in there which was different from the restaurant. It would be fun to just come with a group of friends and chill for a while. All in all, a tasty meal and a fun date night!

There was one other table of patrons when we arrived, but we were the only people in the place until we left. The eatery offers lunch specials, but we went specifically for the half price paella (on Tuesdays and Wednesdays). We started with the pulpo ajillo appetizer, which is octopus in a red wine and garlic sauce. It was tender and delicious. For our paella we ordered the mixto version with chicken, shrimp, scallops, mussels, octopus, and squid. The squid melted in your mouth. The scallops were divine (even though they were the small bay scallops). Everything else in the paella was good, but I thought the rice was a bit too moist. Traditional paella should feature rice that is firm and not sticky. I even like the crispy crust that can form at the bottom. This paella did not feature either. We shared a creme brulee for dessert. It had thick caramelized sugar on top but the custard was very milky and not thick and creamy enough. Our meal for 1 appetizer, 1 paella at half price, 1 dessert, tax, a surcharge for using a credit card, and tip was $74. Service was impeccable.

After she explained the menu and made recommendations, she offered to course our plates out accordingly so it wouldn't arrive all at once. Five stars to Melody for taking great care of us. Now to the food... We started things off with the pan con tomate with Serrano Ham and manchego cheese. Although this is a staple of tapas dining in Spain I had never tried it and was impressed with the depth of flavor and the different notes that it offered. It was excellent and I highly recommend it. Next was the gambas al ajillo which are broiled shrimp in a garlicky pepper butter sauce. They just melt in your mouth and you end up ordering more, right? RIGHT. The same goes for the Spanish omelette. One of their signature dishes and one they do really well here. Now as far as the cochinillo hash, I had mixed feelings about it. Take the potatoes and poached egg out of the equation, the braised shredded pork was either overcooked or maybe even burned a little. It was super dry and if it weren't for the egg I think I would have not been able to eat even half of it. It had a bitter after taste. Maybe I should've said something but it was too hectic in there to say the least. Perhaps I should've give it another chance. Ended with their famous and arguably one of the most delicious churros in town and it was all washed down with their refreshing red sangria.
