Delicious place!! A must stop when traveling between mexicali and Tijuana. Anything u orden you cant go wrong. I had burritos de machaca sonorense which are typical of the north of Mexico. They make them with fresh tortillas. But the other table ordered caldo de res and looks fantastic. I'll get that next time. :)

Food is bomb!!! Try the orange juice or lemonade. Loved the atmosphere of my grandpa's cabin in the woods.

I know most people talk about the food, so you can catch up on that in the other reviews but damn the wines they had on offer and the mezcal was damn amazing. I had the eclipse wine and for those wanting something fruit forward, this is it! I can't remember the mescal I had, but they offered it with fried crickets and orange slices!

The setting alone is worth the visit wide open views, rustic-modern design, and so many photo worthy spots you'll find yourself snapping pictures all throughout your visit. Whether it's the hillside views, the outdoor seating, or the golden hour lighting, this place is made for unforgettable moments. Now the food... incredible. Th ecachete is packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the pulpo is hands down one of the best I've had tender, smoky, and seasoned just right. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared and elevated without losing that Baja charm. The drinks also deserve a shoutout great mixed drinks that are refreshing, well-balanced, and perfect to sip while taking in the views. Overall, Finca Altozano delivers on all fronts: amazing food, killer drinks, and a beautiful atmosphere with plenty of photo ops. Definitely a 5-star experience and a spot I'll keep coming back to

It's been a year since we were last in Ensenada, and I've honestly been thinking about this…read morerestaurant ever since. We've already done all the touristy things, so this time, coming back here was pretty much the one thing I really wanted to do. I tried to make a reservation 10 days in advance, but no one answered the phone. I eventually DMed them on Instagram, and they gave me another number to try. Of course, life got in the way, I forgot, and suddenly it was the day of our Ensenada stop. We walked past the restaurant around 11:30 and saw people already working inside, so we poked our heads in and asked if they could fit us in at 2:00 for two people. No problem! They told us we had 90 minutes, which was perfect. We did see a few people get turned away because they didn't have reservations, so I'd definitely recommend making one in advance. I would hate to make the trip all the way there and get turned away! We came back a little before 2, were seated immediately, and went straight for the two dishes I remembered loving: the half-order ceviche and the fish risotto. We also wanted the seafood pasta, but our waiter wisely warned us that the ceviche was enough for 2-3 people and the risotto for 3-4. For two people, adding the pasta would be way too much. He was absolutely right! The ceviche was fantastic, and I was already getting full, but the fish risotto? I loved it so much that somehow we finished the whole thing. Do we have free food on the cruise? Absolutely. But would I get off the ship and come back here again if I were in Ensenada? Absolutely yes. Add a michelada for me, a beer for my husband, and a roughly $60 bill for two, and that's pretty much my definition of a perfect afternoon in Ensenada. One of the best meals of the trip and totally worth coming back for.

While walking on the Malecon, we checked if Muelle3 has room for 4 hungry guests and fortunately,…read moreonly one table was occupied. The last time my friends attempted to eat here, the restaurant was full and it will take at least a 30 minute wait to get seated. Today, the 21st of November was our lucky day as we were craving the freshest ceviche Ensenada has to offer and experiencce the five star rating Muelle 3 was known for. Our party of 4 chose to sit outside to eat lunch on this cool, cloudy Friday afternoon and be exposed to the sights and sounds of this busy commercial and fishing port. Within minutes of getting settled, our free appetizer - Tortilla Espanola and a plate full of lemon & lime slices with an oyster shell-full of sea salt and chili powder occupied the center of our table. Then came the Ceviche de la casa. A winner in my book of ceviches! Plus a coaster-sized, fresh off the pan tortilla chips gave it a unique serving style. We had to order another bowl of tortillas because eating ceviche without it just won't be the same. The Calamar frito were perefectly breaded, without excess flour and grease in every bite. Another winner! Last but not the least is the Pasta de Mar with the clams of different sizes and pre-cut scallops in the their shell. Muy Delicioso! More hungry patrons started arriving and we still got prompt service. I will make it a point to grab a satisfying seafood dish or two here the next time I visit Ensenada whether by car or by cruise ship.
