The ambiance of the juice shop is refreshing and beachy! A pleasant entrance as you separate from the hustle and bustle of cherokee street. The menu has great sounding smoothie and juice options, the owner is polite and she fresh presses your juice to order! I tried the Golden Glow Smoothie and it was DELICIOUS. Blended well and balanced fruit flavor. Looking forward to bringing my family here for refreshing drinks.

La Casa de Los Lugos is the cutest juice spot on Cherokee, and if you're not supporting local, what are you even doing with your life? Are you really out here funneling your paycheck into some chain juice factory where the vibe is as dead as their over-processed pulp? Couldn't be me. These juices? They're delicious. I rolled up post-yoga, sweaty and feeling like a twisted pretzel, and one sip had me back to feeling like I could conquer the world. I'm kidding but it sounded good. They've got fresh flavors packed with vitamins and make you wonder why you ever tolerated bland bottled nonsense in the first place. Also, you get a nice note on your cup to spread the love. Yeah, you can eat here too, but we stuck to juice this time because hydration is self-care. So listen, I'm gonna be in your face about this: Support. Local. Businesses.

LOVEEEE this place. She juices right in front of you & it doesn't get any fresher than that! Wow. Amazing. I don't have any more words of how great this is. Small area but you can still find seating for a small group. 1-4 people max as a group or you'll need to be standing. She offers juices, smoothies, açaí bowls, & hot foods as well like paninis! Super convenient, plenty of street parking. You have to come in & support this local business. Stopped by after yoga at Brick City & it was just the refresher I needed!

Hawaiian panini, salad and mango sweet juice

This places is a true gem with a perfect balance of flavors. After trying over 8 different items on their menu it's evident that they put their best efforts in providing healthy nutritious food options in every way. Delicious, healthy, and refreshing are the words that would describe La Casa de los Jugos.

    Açaí bowl

I got the açaí bowl. This is the only pic I got before it was gone! It was so good! And the service was great. I will definitely be coming back to get this and see what else is good.

    Grilled chicken sandwich

The grilled chicken sandwich and strawberry salad it came with was the perfect lunch! It was all so fresh and tasty, excited to come back and try the juices.

My friends ordered Lumpia's and shared one with me. It was crispy and very similar to a spring roll. It only had veggies and sprouts, but it still had good flavor. They also got themselves, a couple of Kalua Sandwiches. One had pork and the other had chicken. They both were not totally impressed, but said they were just average. I wanted the Cheese Fries with their Cheese Sauce and fresh diced jalapeños. I'm a jalapeño addict and was looking forward to trying them. When I ordered, the young lady cashier informed me they were out of cheese sauce. I was disappointed that I had to go with just plain ole fries, but they paired well with my, Teriyaki Beef Sticks. My fries were crispy and had a hot soft meaty inside. They were seasoned well and I did not use any ketchup on them. The Beef Sticks were extremely tender and the Teriyaki flavor was on point. I'll be back to try the Cheese ones. Gotta have my jalapeños. The service was fast. You can order at their counter or from a QR menu at your table in Tick Tock Tavern. Once your food is ready, they have runners who will bring it to your table in the dive bar. Overall, Buzz's is decent for what it is and that is a restaurant attached to a popular dive bar. They're an excellent pairing, making a win-win atmosphere for a fun night.

I was greeted warmly by the young attendant and then headed straight for some samples. I tried the cookie dough which slapped and decided to get the piccolo cookie dough with salted caramel. She ended up having to put it in two cups because I requested a lid, but trust I wasn't complaining. In addition to the gelato, I got an order of the Brazilian cheese bread. While waiting for my cheese bread, I decided to help myself to my gelato. Each bite was better than the next and I couldn't decide which one I liked the best out of the two. The caramel paired excellent with the salt and the balance was just what I was looking for. The cookie dough bites were an additional treat and tasted delicious when all mixed together. After a short wait for my bread, I was on my way. The bread was cheesy, fresh, and had a good stretch. It reminded me of the pull-apart bread but nice savory and cheesy. I was hooked after one bite and although my intention was to save them for later, I only had two pieces left. I've had this a few times at a couple different places, but this tasted the most authentic by far. I can't wait to come back for more!
