This is a very basic and simple bakery but the stuff here is amazing. I have a few reservations regarding the sweets and desserts, but everything else makes up for it. The empanadas come out constantly, the pasteles too, the pan de bono are unique in taste, and the pan de queso is very tasty. All the other fried stuff is good and the sauces are outstanding. I really have no complains and truly recommend it for unique flavors.

I have to ask a few questions when I go but the food has been good the two times I have gone. Chorizo is excellent. Get the small round rolls and you have a nice snack. The bread filled with ham, cheese and pineapple has a tasty sweet flavor. I like the beef empenada better than the chicken. Try them with the different sauces.

Update: I returned again and I have come to the realization that this restaurant doesn't deserve a 5; the pan de bono empanada filled with guava is great but not that great. Customer service is no good, they are not nice and they got my order wrong ( I really don't know how). I got a pan de bono roll, a pan de bono empanada filled with guava and a quesito. I came earlier in the morning hoping something would still be warm but I guess I did not come early enough; but the server warmed it up for me and it was fine. The quesito was ok and the pan de bono roll was great. The only reason I am giving this place a 5 is because the pan de bono empanada filled with guava was completely unreal; indescribable. The serve could have been worse, so I can't complain. Please get the pan de bono empanada filled with guava, it is such a treat.

This was our first stop as soon as we landed in Orlando, the bread was nice, fresh, and tasty but compared to other bakeries their pandebonos were on the small scale, the empanada de carne was very meaty but it lacked flavor on its own.

Scramble eggs with ham. And tasteless arepa and cheese

4 stars based on the Pan Bono and the chicharrón ONLY 1 star on the arepa .... no taste, and expensive... (I don't mind paying for it, but only for has good taste)... coffee absolutely sucks, breakfast is only serve until noon, as a relates to service, much improvement is needed. Nonetheless I will continue to come for the bread.

Roach on the chair. Normally I don't mind company but this was unexpected

This is prob one of the worst experiences I've had at a Colombia bakery. I'm originally from Maryland and they even have better places. I got to the restaurant prob around 10am and didn't look busy. Customer service was horrible, they forgot my food so after waiting around for 30 mins I asked what was going on and they had forgotten my food. Finally they brought my food it was cold and didn't even look appetizing(I ordered calentado with eggs and arepa). Also got the pineapple ham and cheese bread and it was hard and felt like it was old. As I was sitting waiting for my food, I saw at least three roaches, one by the cashier, and two around where I was sitting. I brought up my concern to one of the girls there about the roaches, and she seemed very nonchalant, so I guess they are used to that? Idk. The only thing I liked were the empanadas, they were ok but I've had better in Maryland. Over all, this was a disappointed experience nonetheless expensive as well, but hopefully they resolved the roach situation bc that was disgusting.

Pineapple cake, cheese quesito, caramel roll & M&M cookie all for $5!

Empanadas are real good. Súper stuffed. Chicharron is wayyyy over priced here. $6 for a small piece with lots of fat. Hope they fix that.

We ordered Pork chunks with fries and rice, mofongo with pork belly, and pernil with salad and tostones. The pork chunks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned, fries also came out hot. The pernil was tender and flavorful, the Mayo ketchup was a perfect complement to the tostones. The mofongo balls and pork belly were well seasoned with the juices from ceviche and was a unique idea. Once again food, service, and ambiance a 10/10, one thing about Grillers is that they are always consistent.

Total lunch with flan $58... lunch ! It would not have been such a shock if the food was good. I brought 1/3 home to doctor up .. that was a lost cause. My flan was semi dry no juice to it or cream in taste. I do not know if I would go again and order something else. My two friends split a paella $85.00 and and two sangrias ...when they got their $ 118 .00 bill for the lunch with tip they almost passed out. They said it was good but not that price good for a lunch menu. But the presentation of the paella in a grilled fish was surprising.

The lady at the register was patient with me as I stumbled through my broken Spanish. She didn't suggest switching to English, so I must have been speaking reasonably well. So I ordered the carne frita (fried pork) with a side of tostones. When I go to any Latin restaurant, I have to try the tostones. Ever since Rice & Beans closed I've been on the quest for some good tostones. Piñones' tostones (no rhyme intended) were decent, but not quite what I hoped for. The star of the meal was the carne frita. It was hot, juicy and flavorful. I'll likely try it again in a mofongo.

The fried chicken wasn't bad, it had flavor and the tostones were nice and crispy. We didn't care for the rest though. The arroz con gandules was the driest I have ever had! The carne frita/maditas de cerdo had NO seasoning. I was so shocked! They tasted like unseasoned pork and oil! I was so disappointed because I wanted those so bad. The alcapurria de carne was ok, but nothing I would crave or come back for. There was no ac and it was like 90 degrees outside. If I lived local I would've taken the food to go but unfortunately, I had to sit there and suffer to eat one of the sorriest excuses for puerto rican food I've had so far. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately for us it was a big miss. The ladies working there didn't look happy to be there but neither would I if I had to work in those conditions! It was like a sauna!

They were using chemical wipes on the silverware that ARE NOT made for human consumption. Extremely dangerous to do that. Worked in restaurants and I would NEVER allow someone to use chemical wipes on silverware. not just a little bit, all of the silverware. They weren't rinsing afterwards either. They wiped down the silverware, then threw it into a basket while the other girl wrapped it. What the ... are you all thinking doing this to your customers? Bleach and or toxic chemicals. If it's bad enough for you to wear gloves, then it shouldn't be consumed by us, even residual. Hard to see the warning but it's on the very top of the wipes. And no where on the label or on the companies website does it say you can use this on silverware, and their list is extensive on what you can use it on. And to the service itself, the girls looked miserable. The other location that you have, the girls were happy and smiling. These girls played on their phone the whole time, and it was hard to get any service. Even the bartender stepped outside the glass door to play on her phone for quite a while while people were waiting for drinks.
