Ever since then if there's a Drury Inn during our road trip, you bet we going to be staying there! I love that they have a 5:30 kickback hour with hot hors d'oeuvres with refreshing cold alcoholic drinks and soft drinks! We got here a bit late so we totally missed out, bummer! We were able to have some freshly popped popcorn! Staff are beyond chill and super welcoming! They gave us the full rundown on all the perks. Check in was quick easy and delightful! We went to our room and it was so clean and comfortable! Just what we needed after a long road trip! If only we could stay a bit longer but sadly our road trip is about to end! Boo! I totally recommend everyone to stay here! It's a 10 out of 10! Run don't walk and book your room! You're welcome!

One of the biggest issues was the lack of consistent air conditioning throughout the building, which made common areas feel uncomfortable at times. I also found the terrace layout inconvenient since there are no stairs providing direct access, making it less practical than expected. Unfortunately, the room had a funky odor when I arrived that never completely went away during my stay. While the staff was courteous and the location was convenient, the overall experience didn't match the quality I expected. With some renovations and improved upkeep, this hotel could be a much better place to stay.

For a seven year old hotel, the place shows remarkably well. Common areas are nice. I never had breakfast but each morning many others were. The bar was a great touch and well attended and stocked. Cheryl was great behind the bar. Front desk was good as well. Friendly and always smiling. Christian was excellent. My room was large, clean and comfortable. The partitioned workspace/living area was nice. Shower had good pressure and temperature. Finally, there are 6-7 restaurants in the parking lot or adjacent and safe to walk to. I'll stay here again. Don't hesitate.

We stayed at this hotel twice during our vacation -- once on our way to California in June and…read moreagain a week later on our way back home. After long days on the road, my focus upon arrival was simply to get checked in, find dinner if needed, and settle in before another full day of travel. Because of that, it didn't immediately register -- not until we had been home for a while -- that during both stays, there was no acknowledgement whatsoever of my Platinum Elite status with Marriott. No "thank you for being a member," no recognition, none of the hospitality I've consistently experienced with Marriott over the years. Additionally, I was never asked the standard Elite benefit question regarding my preference for points or an amenity. During our first stay, I had to go to the front desk because our TV remote wasn't working. The staff member told me she had no batteries, then asked me to wait while she looked for a solution. She eventually brought me another remote that worked, but it was clear that my request was an interruption to her evening. I typically request extra towels, knowing it isn't guaranteed, but this hotel provided exactly two towels -- and that was true during both stays. With a reservation for two people, I expect at least two towels per person. After the remote interaction, I chose not to return to the desk to ask for more; I simply didn't want another uncomfortable exchange. When we arrived, more than half of the parking lot was closed off for resurfacing, which made unloading luggage across the lot difficult. We understand maintenance has to happen, but the check in staff showed no concern for the inconvenience to travelers. The first time we checked in, the staff member was openly complaining to the guest ahead of us about her long hours and the amount of overtime she had worked -- something like 20+ hours on her previous check. She explained they had no help, so she was working excessive overtime. While I sympathize, this is not something guests should be hearing at check in. Breakfast was acceptable, though not at the level I've come to expect from Marriott. The staff member handling the food area was kind and accommodating, but there is only so much staff can do with the resources they're given. Some Marriott properties treat breakfast as a valued amenity; others clearly do not. There are several nice restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. A Longhorn Steakhouse sits just across the parking lot, which made it a convenient and enjoyable option.

When she did finally look up she didn't say I'm sorry for the delay, or apologize or anything. Just looked at us like we were just an annoyance in her life at that time. She had an attitude and was NOT friendly at all! She didn't smile and was very rude! My friend asked her what time would the bar open? Her response was NEVER, again friend asked will it ever open and her response was NOPE. I will never stay there again. Honestly, we went in and out a lot and not once did we see her smile in the 2 days of staying there. It would probably be in your best interest for your hotel by getting rid of her. I didn't catch her name because she didn't have a badge on. She was working the desk on Monday the 23rd of March at 4:00 in the afternoon. I could give a description of her but maybe you can figure out who she was by the date and time. Also, if you advertise a bar it should be open. Ridiculous!!!! I'm sure this will never make it to the right people because it looks like there are a lot of complaints about the check in process.

I spoke to the front desk about it, and she said that the hotel needs a remodel. That doesn't help me at all, so she would have to talk to the manager about how disappointed I am. I thought that I booked the nicest room, which is the two bedroom suite with a king bed, two queens in another room and a sofa bed. Upon arrival, I was happy with how nice it looked, that they had dishes and pots and dish soap. But the carpet is gross, the couches were really dirty, and even the lamp has stains. I didn't want my family to take off their shoes and we even used our own blankets. My son needed another blanket at night and when he went down and got one at around 11pm, the blanket has a huge hole in it. On top of everything else, the blanket wasn't even right. The next thing was the fire alarms going off every little bit around 6am. Apparently someone left the stove on and there was smoke on the third floor. I could forgive this if it was the only thing, but on top of everything-- this was a very upsetting time. The ONLY reason they got any stars at all is because I didn't see any bugs. Adding that even the bagel at breakfast was moldy.

Booked our stay because we are military traveling for a PCS and it's a pet friendly hotel (with deposit per pet). However, everything is dirty. Just walking around the hotel, there is stuff all over the carpets (lint, pieces of paper, crumbs, I don't even know), smears on the linoleum (probably from pets or small spills, but you would think a day later they would be cleaned up), and don't get me started on the pool. We took our kids for a swim and someone's yogurt parfait was sitting on the chair and it was oldddd. The hot tub isn't working and the water is stagnant and nasty. Dead bugs in it and looked super cloudy. One guy actually said he asked someone about it and they apparently said they would come "turn it on," but never showed up. Probably for the best. The bathrooms next to the pool are trashed. Toilet paper everywhere. Someone took a huge poop in the women's room and it either didn't go down, or they didn't bother to flush. The outside gazebo looks beautiful though. They have a very nice set up where you can grill and hang out. Maybe the lady at the front desk was having a rough day, but I went to ask for pool towels because, surprise, they weren't stocked, but her demeanor honestly made me feel like a burden for even asking. I didn't even bother mentioning the hot tub like I was going to. The fitness center is... lacking. The treadmill won't even turn on and I had to mess with the elliptical settings to find one that didn't say error. Not sure about the bike, I didn't try it after I got the elliptical to work. They have exactly 11 dumbbells, no water in the jug or wipes in the dispenser, and it's apparent that someone didn't clean up after themselves because there were paper towels and a wadded up regular towel just sitting around. They do offer guest laundry, but it's not free and you can't use your own detergent, it's preloaded. Each load costs $2.50 per washer and dryer. Our room is a decent size. We have a kitchen with a ton of empty cabinets, a handful of dishes, and almost a full sized fridge. I'm happy about those things! But the pull out couch was pretty awful and my poor husband ended up sleeping there with our daughter. There was food in the couch when we opened it up. Our sink had men's leftover beard trimmings and our shower had someone else's hair still. Our room has splatters all over the wall from God knows what abd the carpet is stained. I feel bad letting my toddler walk on it. Don't get me wrong, I've stayed in some sketchy places before, but for $300 for one night? No thank you, it's just not worth the price.

Got a room near the lobby, so we didn't have to walk very far. Upon entering, I noticed a slight musty smell, and the carpeting was dirty in some spots. Other than that, the room looked fine. I called the front desk and asked them to send a can of deodorizer to the room. A can was delivered within 5 minutes. I liberally sprayed the room with the deodorizer, and it helped a lot, so much that we couldn't smell that musty odor anymore. Extended Stay has a kitchenette stocked with pots, pans, silverware, etc., so that someone could temporarily set up a homestead and be able to cook "at home." Since we were going to continue our road trip to Los Angeles, we didn't have the need for the fully stocked kitchenette. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean and fully stocked, and the shower water pressure was perfect. The air conditioner worked well and it wasn't the source of the musty odor. If all you're going to do is sleep here overnight, I would recommend staying at Extended Stay America. It's OK.
