10/10, the employees really try their best to give you exactly what you're asking for- regardless of the language barrier or not- I'm Spanish but don't speak Spanish - and every single time I come in the bartender always does their thing and makes THE BEST drinks. Surprises me with mezcal and some deliciousness in a cup. I love coming here after work on my way home for a pit stop drink, and I also love coming at night with my mans for a cute night out in our area. I loved this place!! The night we went there was a live mariachi... amazingg!! The menu may be a bit limited but the options they have on there they have definitely mastered. The drinks were delicious! I had a passion fruit margarita (my go to) and I definitely reordered more than once... yummyyy. Drinks were ok but the nachos were lame. They used melted velvetta for the cheese and were served lukewarm at best. Salsa tasted like it came out of the jar. Save your money and go to better Mexican when in Astoria. read more

I went there for happy hour. There was only one waitress just serving the food. We waited 25 minutes to get our drinks then when we got the appetizers, they taste like they came out of a Costco frozen box everything was cold when we got it I would not recommend this place to anyone and I live in the area . I was very excited to try this place. I went there twice and the two times I went. I was very disappointed. Oh yeah, we ordered chips and salsa. The salsa came out frozen. We literally went store to the supermarket and brought chips and salsa into the restaurant.. bad bad but these white people around here don't know really good Mexican food and that's not good. Last night I had the pleasure to visit this Rest. it seems a "New" administration just took over this day. We had to sit outside it was too crowded inside plus a big B-day party was taking place. The service and food were good. My only disappointment was the vey little amount of Guacamole they served as appetizer for $14.00 dollars. I suspect it was due for the crowd, but this little details Must not happen, it takes away any High impression from the business. I will go back again and see any improvement. read more

I don't usually like to write a negative review but I think it's important to let a business know so they can learn and make it better. 1st the restaurant is beautiful, decor and ambience was on point. The service was very nice and attentive. Waiter was great just felt a certain kind of way because it was 3 of us and the tip was $24. Now to why I paid $140 for mozzarella sticks, 2 not so good drinks and the food was not all that. We ordered the steak it was salty as hell and the chimichurri was very oily. We also ordered chicken wrapped in plantains and it was rubbery and not good at all. I think it has a lot of potential but the food kills it and a bill of $164 not somewhere I will recommend. read more

Il give it 3 stars based on the food..the food i just ok honestly there's nothing special .We had a large party and we ordered a few things . The wings and calamari were fine .We thought the pastas weren't too bad but again nothing special. THE Ceviche and quesadillas were terrible. The ceviche was mostly peppers and a very small amount of what tasted like frozen squid it was honestly very disappointing not worth ordering at all .The quesadillas also terrible they looked nice but once tasting them and looking inside it looked like they barely had ingredients to fill them and weren't able to even melt the cheese .The one dish i thought was actually better tasting that had good flavor were the steak fajitas, maybe they are better with steak because this dish was the only one we liked.. The food here was nothing special nothing that will make you come back because your craving one of their dishes it reminded me of frozen food my brother whips up when I come to visit. Not sure if they are actually mexican based on how the mexican items tasted . The drinks on the other hand we did enjoy ,we had Sangria, morir soñando, lyeche martinis and they were good. The ambience is nice also the decor inside is very nice i would come here just to have some drinks and maybe listen to some music . They have daily specials and the service was good too.. read more

The chicken quesadilla tasted like it came out of the microwave. The calamari tasted like it was out of a box from the freezer section of costco. The chicken wings tasted frozen as well. They will only honor the drinks for happy hour if you come close to 8pm(although I called and they said happy hour ended at 8:30pm). They will charge full price for the food after 7:30pm. Be sure to check the bill! because they will try to charge full price for the drinks, During happy hour. Cute place, bad food. Will not return. read more
