This place is so beautiful, once you walk in you can see the decor all around. The food is delicious and so are the drinks ! It was a birthday and we had the place to ourselves just us two . The music was great as well , the waiter messed up our bill and at the end fixed it with no problem . Happy hour was great and 9$ sushi on Monday was excellent

Wife and I were very excited to try out this spot after reading about it in Boro magazine. We went there on a late winter Friday night and were able to get seated around 7 pm pretty easily. After we got seated we got menus soon thereafter. The vibes at the place are really good. Bumping music, great decor, and comfortable seating. They also have hookah available. Definitely feels like a fun place. But the fun ended when the service began. The water cups weren't filled when we got in. When our server came to take our orders, it was very difficult to hear her because it was so loud. After she took our orders, the beers came right away but the water cups weren't filled. It wasn't until the food came a whole 45 minutes later that the water cups were filled. The tacos and sushi dishes are really amazing! The textures and flavors are very creative. Once all was set and done, they brought the check and had one price for credit cards and another for cash. Also to note is that the place charges you an 18% gratuity fee no matter how good or bad the service is. The food is great, but the service has a long way to go.

After hearing so much about this place from family and friends, I finally got to try it and it absolutely delivered. We kicked things off with the tiger ceviche, which was delicious and one of the best we've had, though I wish it came with more tostones instead of just three. For the main course, we ordered the 4 combo sushi special and cleared the entire plate. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance had a great vibe. they also offer hookah. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I'll definitely be back!"

Their tacos are the best tacos I've had in NYC. Los Tacos #1 was my favorite. I had a chorizo and…read moreal pastor taco. Although the al pastor is not cut fresh off the spit, it was still moist and crisp. They put slices of radish and cilantro on top. Chorizo is hard to mess up but with the cilantro and onions, it was perfect! But what really makes their tacos special are the corn tortillas. They must dip them in the meat drippings and then throw them on the grill because they are extra delicious. Their sauces are excellent too. Warning, it's just a food cart and there's no place to sit.

As a longtime resident and foodie of the world's borough, I can tell you that Tacos 3 Hermanos will NOT disappoint and will leave your taste buds completely satisfied. I've passed by this food truck almost daily during my commute to work on the busy Jamaica ave and finally decided to stop by today for some grub. I usually get tacos from a taco truck (duh) but settled for a torta de bistec today and boy oh boy was it worth it. The bread was fluffy and crisp, toppings were fresh, and the steak was packed full of flavor. They have a selection of additional sauces to choose from if you so desire, verde, rojo, and some chilis. And what better drink to wash down this mouth-watering meal than a Jarritos of course. If you're in the mood for some good tasting, decently priced Mexican street food, then look nowhere else and check out Tacos 3 Hermanos, you will not regret it!

I love a good taco stand. This is one of the best. Unfortunately, the days of $1-1.50 tacos from my…read moreyouth has disappeared. Even though this vendor sells tacos pequeño (small tacos, 2-3 bites), they are $3-4 each, which is not cheap. For that reason, I can't give them 5 stars. It's quite pricey considering that most full size tacos are selling for about $4.50-5.50 nowadays on the streets, but double in size. With that said, I appreciate the smaller size for me to enjoy more variety every time I stop by. My favorites change from visit to visit, but generally I always get Suadero (roast meat), Campechano (roast meat & sausage), Buche (pork stomach), Cabeza (beef head), and Lengua (beef tongue). I also like the extra weird parts like Cesos (beef brain) and Ojos (beef eye). However, the texture is very mushy and definitely not for everyone. As accompaniments, for every two tacos you order, they also give you a long stem onion that is quite tender and delicious. On the down side, instead of the traditional lime and radish that most places give, Tacos El Borrego offers lemon and cucumbers. I'm not sure why, except maybe they are cheaper options than the normal garnishes. Also, don't forget the flavorful green and red sauces on the table if you are eating there. Otherwise, ask for some to go. I miss the days when our group of friends would get a few tacos late at night after a party or night out drinking. The prices are no longer the same, but the food is still perfect for sobering up while having some laughs on the streets during the warm months. I think back to those days fondly whenever I'm at a taco stand nowadays, and Tacos El Botrego is one of my favorites in NYC.
