On my first visit, I tried their Chicken and Waffle. Whoa, a large pile of crispy chicken tenders atop a Belgian waffle. It was too much for me, but I powered through the chicken. It came with two metal containers of syrup. One was very spicy, the other was "normal" maple syrup. I enjoyed this meal, $38.11 with coffee, including tax and 20% tip. Rating: 4. On my second visit, I ordered the Veggie Breakfast. Two eggs, a grilled Portobello mushroom cap, sliced avocado, six grilled cherry tomatoes, sauteed spinach, a piece of sourdough toast, a block of feta, and containers of butter and catsup. With coffee, this cost $39.47, including tax and 20% tip. This breakfast caused me distress ... Whether it was too much oil, the butter, or the feta ... I was ill for 2 hours afterward. Note to self: Do not order this breakfast again. Rating: 2. Service was very good. Rating: 4.

I enjoyed the Pasta Al Pomodoro along with a glass of wine. The name of the wine escapes me more, but it was good. Like most of the time when I'm in dtla, I've parked in pay lots, so parking is not an issue.

We ordered a four-wine flight from the menu. Our server said he wasn't sure he had enough bottles open but would see what he could put together. We trusted that, as a wine bar, they would serve wines that were in good condition. Of the four wines we received, three tasted strongly of vinegar and were essentially undrinkable. We understand that natural wines can have unconventional or funky flavors, but these appeared spoiled and should not have been served. Our server never returned to ask how the wines were or why we had barely touched them. Instead, we were simply directed to pay through the QR code. The setting has real appeal, but serving clearly spoiled wine and then failing to check on customers made this a frustrating experience, especially given the high ratings & personal recommendation.

It's conveniently located to the LA Convention Center, Crytpo.com arena, and LA Live which makes it a must visit before or after an event! I am obsessed with their happy hour, which offers healthy items at discounted prices with generous portions! I have been here so many times throughout the years but most recently found myself here during a busy World Cup match! Regardless, the service and quality of food was not sacrificed! I was greeted as soon as I got there and the bartenders were overwhelmed but still friendly and helpful. I was so tempted to get a margarita, since theirs are amazing, but decided to keep it dry and just get their vegan nachos. I was able to score a table outside on their lovely patio, which felt secluded enough from the main street. My food was brought out quicker than I thought and I was delighted, as I was famished! The vegan nachos here are fantastic and the happy price is only $10, which is a steal for what you get! They are costed in the most magical concoction of a bean puree, cashew cheese sauce, and guacamole which all have the most creamy, luscious and savory flavors. It's so hearty and well seasoned and not only filling, but you feel great after. Parking is pretty easy, as there are usually ample meters available nearby. I cannot wait to return again soon the next time I'm in Downtown LA! I am hoping to try more of their vegan options and next time I will for sure get a drink to go along with their delicious food!

I ordered the Espresso Martini, and it tasted pretty watered down and lacked the bold coffee flavor I was hoping for. On the bright side, the food was definitely the highlight. The mussels were flavorful, the calamari was crispy and cooked well, and the fries were delicious. Those dishes really saved the experience . Overall, I'd come back for the food, but I'd probably steer clear from cocktails and order a real drink. Prank is a convenient place for dtla residents in surrounding apartments to come get some quick bites and drinks and catch a live game
