This place is outstanding. From the incredible service to the amazing food, it is my new favorite place in PV. We actually ended up here after the first place in our list only took cash (lame). The second was still not open at 7pm. So we went to out third choice and so glad we did. First of all, I have eaten at some pretty nice places, you could say I get paid to do it, and so I know good food. I rarely rave about any restaurant-trust me. We had the tuna tower which was excellent. Probably one of the best I have ever experienced. That was followed by the giant shrimp which were outstanding. Note that these are a finger food and can be messy. I chased that with a few baja style fish tacos-amazing! We enjoyed a homemade flan for dessert which was delicious-not too sugary like typical flan can often be. Almost didn't find this place cause the google maps was giving me the wrong directions. Good thing we kept on walking and found a tourist info desk at the marina who pointed the way. Food was good. We enjoyed the grilled shrimp, octopus and steak combo platter. I would say price point is a little pricey but not too bad compared to other restaurants in the area. Inside of the place was casual, clean and most importantly, cool! It was so humid out when we visited PV end of July so the AC was a welcome break! Service and ambiance was nice, efficient and fast! The food here is really delicious! The service was top-notch, and the ambience is very nice. The shrimp I had is some of the best shrimp I have had ever! The head was on, as well as things were very well seasoned. The prices are good and very reasonable. In fact, it is hard to find a non-alcoholic piña colada also known as a piñata and they had them! FAVORITE PLACE TO DINE IN PV! This is a must place for lunch or dinner. We came here twice because it was thatttttt good Must order the Zarandeado !! This is what they're know for. First night, we got all shrimp and second night we got the mix plate with shrimp, steak and octopus. You can't go wrong with either. Both are finger licking good!! The zarandeado sea bass is huge (could feed 3-5 people). Personally I didn't like it as much as the shrimp/meat. The guacamole and salsa is bombbbb (not complimentary). This place is dynamite. However, the location on the map seems to be wrong by quite a bit. We planned on going here but stumbled onto it by heading to Starbucks. The shrimp are AMAZING. We stopped here for lunch after reading the great reviews and we were not disappointed. Although the website said they opened at noon, they didn't actually open until about 12:20, but there was outdoor seating available, so we were fine with that. They had menus in both English and Spanish which was helpful. I had the grilled fish tacos which were very delicious. Two tacos for only 150 pesos. Everyone was very happy with the food as well as the service. Parking can be a little difficult to find in this location, but as far as a great place to eat, it can't be beat. read more

This place came recommended to me by a local and it did not disappoint. What better way to enjoy a good meal and two for one drinks . Shocking but I normally don't prefer barbecue sauce on my grilled shrimp but I went with the flow. Food Poisoning- Avoid this place My husband and I had the tuna ceviche for dinner and were violently ill for three of our 7 day trip. We thought the taste was a bit off, but didn't think too much of it. Only had one bite and was sick from both ends all night and the next day. A fantastic dinner tonight. Located right off the Marina with great outdoor seating this is a casual place to hang out with good seafood and Arrichera. We started out with the mixed seafood ceviche and instead of the usual chopped up fish in a glass serving cup, you get a huge plate of shrimp both cooked and raw, scallops, and octopus served with a slight amount of course sea salt which really put the dish over the top for me. All tender pieces with great flavor. For the main course I had the mixed seafood grill which was full of large grilled prawns, huge octopus tentacles that melted in your mouth ( I think all of Mexico has great octopus) and Arrichera steak served medium rare. The steak was very flavorful and very tender. One thing I love is that when you ask for water with lime, they bring you a glass with ice and it's filled 25% with fresh squeezed lime juice. Awesome. La Cevicheria is AMAZING! We found the place thanks to helpers and we were so happy that we ate here twice back to back. The seafood was fresh and delicious! Suggestions: try the ceviches! It's big enough for two people. The local ceviche has a tomato base with olives. It's cooked seafood so if you're just getting started with ceviche it's a good version to try. In the ceviche peruano is the seafood is the star! It's a bit more spicy but you can ask for the habanero on the side. Our other favorite dish was a traditional shrimp cocktail. It's cold and you can have them switch the juice. It can be tomato based with ketchup (which is sweet) or you can ask for a cold shrimp broth. They can also add octopus if you like octupus. We also had their fish and shrimp tacos. Both were so good that we forgot to take pictures. Both days we are for $420 pesos with each person having a dish and a beer each. read more

Had the shrimp ceviche and breaded fish and shrimp tacos. Fairly decent spot next to the marina. Had the aquas frescas melon which was okay, could have used more azucar. We also tried the fried sweet banana for dessert, which was okay. Very small scoop of ice cream and with the hot and humid weather, it disappeared quickly. The only drawback here was the humidity, and they only had 3 fans for the whole place. Good thing it wasn't too busy when we came, but I can only imagine when it is busy. This restaurant was recommended to me by motel concierge as a top seafood restaurant in the PVR marina. My favorite sea food in PVR is octopus because fresh octopus is readily available there in many restaurants. I ordered a whole baby octopus which they said they had. I was delivered under cooked (partly raw) octopus portions of not a baby octopus. I don't mine the portions, but there is no excuse for under cooked (raw portions - slimy tissue). I never ate there again to try their fish and cannot recommend the restaurant generally because of this failed dinner. The staff and service were great and the place has a nice busy atmosphere. Think twice before eating here. I ordered the Sea Bass. Waiter went to ask and make sure they had some. He came back and said yes they have the Sea Bass. When I got my order I took a few bites and clearly it was not Sea Bass. They had switched it for Red Snapper. When I complained they said they never had the Sea Bass and I ordered Red Snapper, they took my barely eaten meal and charged me half price for a meal I didn't order. Wasn't used to a big plate of raw shrimp literally sliced in half and seeing the gray scales (amateur ceviche eater I guess, or used to mixed ceviche of different seafood?). Absolutely one of our trip highlights. The food is simply fantastic! Fantastic is an understatement. Also the service and vibe of the place just feels right. Their ceviche was, as it should be, excellent and we also had a Caesar salad that was superb, too. Even though we had plenty to eat between those items and chips and salsa, we each got full meals, a shrimp and a fish meal that were absolutely on point. Good drinks, also! Food was good but had an incident on 4th of July here. I forgot my cell phone at the restaurant and it took me a while to figure this out. Well, when I went back to ask, it turns out that one of the waitresses (yes, you Paola) had taken my cell phone home, erased some of my apps and taken out my SD card. She returned it to me (after waiting for her to bring it to the restaurant when one the waiters called her on her cell. She was probably using mine at that point). Instead of handing it over to me herself, the coward gave it to a coworker to give it to me. I waited for her to pass by me (I was at the entrance) and she never once turned to look at me. I hope her manager reads this post. She could have answered my daughters WhatsApp message when she messaged me (my daughter knew they had been read) but instead she deleted the app. Moral of the story: don't leave your cell phone behind or Paola will keep it for herself! read more
