The place is pretty low key, nicely decorated inside with table seating and booth seating. and a few seats at the bar. I've read several online reviews of this place which are mixed both good and bad. However, I decided to stop in here for Saturday dinner recently. The place was not too busy as I could sit anywhere I wanted as I entered. The server arrived promptly with a menu and complementary chips and salsa and an ice water. I ordered the Beef Chimichanga ($12 plus tax) served with rice and refried beans. The chips were crunchy (not warmed) served with a mild tomato salsa. The Beef Chimichanga dinner arrived to my table in under 10 minutes nice and hot. The chimichanga was a 12" deep fried soft tortilla filled with ground beef, rice & melted cheese, topped with diced tomato and sour cream on the side. The Mexican rice was cooked very nicely and just right, not mushy like at other Mexican restaurants. The refried beans were soft and dense and not soupy, good job here. I finished my dinner and chips, but I did not save room for dessert (fried ice cream, churros, flan). Overall, the chimichanga dinner was pretty good and very filling. The service was very prompt.
