7 of us went in the summer time and there was al pastor and picnic tables outside but we ate inside where the music was great and the decor was lovely. Everyone in the party absolutely loved their food. There are a TON of vegetarian options. Quesadilla, carnitas, taco salad, enchiladas michoacanas, chimichanga, pobambo, chips, spicy salsa, bean dip. All mega delicious. Each person commented on the decor and there were several seating options for a party of 7. We didn't even have to ask for anything to be moved. Went for dinner and it was fantastic. We usually go about once a week or so because their shrimp tacos, and homemade salsa are my faves. Had the Quesadills de Piccadillo which was big, juicy, with seasoned ground beef, potatoes, onions, carrots, cheese, topped with fresh lettuce, crema, queso fresco, and salsa. Divine 4.5 out of 5 the only way to improve it would be to add avocado to the top. Shrimp taco, shrimp, cabbage, Chipotle sauce, queso fresco, and avocado. I had them leave off the cilantro and pico because I like their salsa on it better. I love their shrimp here, always fresh, never overcooked. Chicken tostada, beans grilled chicken, lettuce, crema, queso fresco, pico, and salsa. Yum, chicken is flavorful and tender. Rice - they make the best Mexican rice I have ever had. Not over seasoned, fluffy, and perfectly cooked. To die for. Carne Asada tacos, seasoned beef, grilled onions, queso fresco, cilantro, green salsa. These were bomb too. Their homemade salsa is one of my favorites, and their bean dip with chips. Tonight the salsa had an extra kick, musta got a really hot jalepeno in there, but I LOVED it. My mouth was seriously on fire, in the best way, but it was nothing a Horchata couldn't handle. I love this place. Friendly service, clean environment, great food 5 stars again! read more

We came as a party of 11 and had a great experience. Service was prompt and friendly and the food was SO delicious! Everyone ordered something different and everyone absolutely loved it. Value of amount of food you get for your money was excellent. The ambiance and vibe were on point. The little mini golf area outside was an extra fun bonus for the kids too! We had this place recommended by some friends and I can't understand why. First, they wouldn't let us split a check once for a table of 11. Ok no problem. We split our table up. Actively moved into two groups and they told us that was ok. They could do 2 separate checks then. No longer one group is 11, we were a group of 9 and a group of 2. Then the food came, very staggered. One or two plates every 5min. So some of us just sat there with no food. And when it came it wasn't great. Only one person at the table actually liked their food. The tortillas were rubbery, the salsas were bland. Like straight tomato sauce. Then the check came, which we sat around waiting for it to come for at least 15min after everyone had finished. 2 checks for 2 tables. The check for 9 had gratuity added, understandable although I didn't see it on the menu anywhere that they added it. No biggie. That's common. Well the table of 2 had it added as well! Absolutely not ok. You all made us split up into 2 separate tables. Treated us like 2 different tables. Gave us 2 different checks, and then added gratuity like the small table was a big party. That's shady and not ok. The food was awful and this sketchy behavior is totally not worth coming back again. There's also no changing tables in the bathroom and that always makes me angry. read more

We had lunch here today. I was hoping to be able to leave a 5 star review but needless to say things went south. First off the place is super cute and dining area was clean and they were pretty busy. There were 4 of us meeting for lunch. We ordered drinks and sat and waited for probably 15 minutes for those to come. We ordered our food, and guacamole but the guacamole never showed up. I eventually had to ask for that again. Chips weren't salted, but the salsas were decent. We waited probably 30 minutes for our food. One plate came out at a time instead of it all being served at once. The first thing I noticed was my food was luke warm. I ordered fajitas and the Vegis and rice were actually cold. When the waitress came back I let her know and she said she would get me a new one. When she brought it back to me it was clearly my same plate that just got microwaved, we could tell because my finger dents were still in the rice from touching it. The Beans were now hot but vegis still cold. Mind u this plate had a side of guacamole on it that was just microwaved as well!! I sent it back. The 3rd one came back and it was fine temp wise, but lacked any flavor. I actually had to put salt on it for flavor. Steak tasted like bland beef. My friend had the pasole. Hers was also flavorless. Tortillas were good, my michelada was good, food was not great. this lunch took 1hr 45 min and by the end we were literally the only ones there. All the other tables seemed to be getting service from the other waitresses, plates cleared, checked on etc. we had a pile of plates on the table that would have been nice if cleared along the way. I have heard similar reviews from others about this restaurant. The molacate is something I would like to try so I will go back for a 3rd try. I hope they can make some changes that the community have let them know about because id like to see them succeed. 3 stars for cleanliness and presentation of the food and drinks. 2 stars for the food #update. Went back the other day and had taquitos. They were really really good and really hot!! So good we decided to go for lunch Saturday. Also try their house-made masa specialties like the Gordita, sopes, and masa quesadilla. They are near impossible to find house-made at any of the NorCal Mexican spots. Salsa is a little weak and watered down which is why I took away a star. I'd stay away from the burritos unless you are vegetarian. A lot of rice and beans, which is healthier in a way, but if I want a burrito with asada...give me the asada! read more

We have been here many times since my last review. I'm sorry to say we are not coming back to this restaurant any longer. The service was slow and horrendous by the owner. We waited 15 minutes for water, we waited 30 minutes for our meal, you waited 25 minutes for a flatware. I ordered a chili relleno like I normally do, however it was just an egg omelet with a chili in the middle covered in sauce. I've never had anything quite like it. My grandson had a burrito which was just slopped together. My wife had shrimp tacos that were good. As soon as we walked in one lady brought us normal chips /salsa, we asked for some more chips and without notice got a bill for $3.50 for the chips we never ordered in the first place. I have never been charged for chips there before. The owner appeared annoyed anytime we asked for drinks or anything. This is the third time we've been treated this way out of the many times we've been there. We're done. We can tolerate a bad day here and there, but we were clearly not welcomed at this restaurant. read more

We've eaten here a few times. The food is always good. Every single time the service is the same, it needs work. Not terrible, but lots of sitting around and talking during down time. Everyone is friendly. The food usually comes out pretty fast. The hot sauce and other condiments on ALL of the tables are always almost empty and half of them don't even have lids on them. My avocado was brown and tasted very old. I was not happy but I let it go bc I figured they were still new and trying to figure things out. Although that doesn't explain why you would serve your customer brown avocado.. Second time we went I ordered enchiladas. The sauce tasted like it came from a can. Very disappointing but it had good flavor. Months went by and we decided to try them one last time. Their food was good. This time I ordered carne asada fries. The portion was enough to feed 4 people! (Not complaining ) but I only ate part of it. The meat and fries tasted dry but seasoned good.
