I love this place! A traditional cenaduria that creates food prepared in a very traditional Mexican style. The puerco encacahuatada was amazing. Living in Los Angeles and having an awesome cunada cook, I thought I had eaten or tried just about everything Mexican. But this dish blew me away. A chile and peanut sauce in which pork cubes are simmered is a fixture of my dreams now.
Give thus place a shot. Great hospitality, off the main tourist drag, and a great value. Dinner and tip for two were less than $15 US.
