I wanted the shrimp with cucumber appetizer. Priority I suppose
    Gloria V.

I ordered an appetizer that was supposed to come with shrimp and cucumber, but I was told they didn't have it available. Later on, I noticed they were making dishes that clearly had shrimp and cucumber in them. It was confusing and a bit frustrating to be told something wasn't available when I could see the same ingredients being used for other orders. Better communication and consistency would have made the experience much better.

The homemade tacos were worth a trip and for two dollars each I will be coming back for this Tuesday special. I was saddened the area with pool tables etc. was closed off (maybe due to it being slow?). Anyways, dope place to come grab drinks and try out a meal (or tacos). Delish. 8/10 for food... 4/10 for service. When I asked the food server if she could get me a glass of water, she told me to ask the bartender who took my order so I did & then the bartender told me there's only bottled water available (for sale).. because I brought my own bottle I decided I'll just drink out of my own. Honestly I was just trying to get some ice water to wash down the spicy salsa that came with the tacos...(bomb) and not be drinking out of a bottle when I could be drinking out of a glass

Breanna is the best!!! The tacos are fantastical. The service is the best near campus. Definitely coming back the next time in town. 10 out of 10!

The Miche Spot is hands down one of my favorite places to kick back with good food and great drinks! From the start, our waitress Martha was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. We had tacos, tortas, wings, and the Chuper Queso Fundido (a must-try) that had the perfect crunch and spice. And of course...the drinks! The mango michelada was refreshing, the spiked horchata was like dessert with a kick, and the cucumber mint and strawberry margaritas were perfect. Between the welcoming vibe, top-notch service, and food + drinks that always deliver, The Miche Spot is definitely the go-to hangout with family and friends. Can't wait for the next round!

This place is relaxed, cool, and my server Itzel is attentive and she helped recommend drinks when I was indecisive. I had the guacamole, it's a good appetizer to have as you're drinking. I really like the lotería decor, the music doesn't miss but there's also a jukebox incase. Another cool addition is that there's a pool table in the back if you like to drink and play pool. I would recommend. CHEERS!! APROVECHO

Food is great here and the drinks I ordered were all very tasty and not over powering. Good spot to hang before a game. Bre was really attentive and helpful.

Chill but great atmosphere, drinks are good and staff is just as great shoutout to who tended us !Marcos!

Bar area! They have so many TVs, a pool table, darts, and a pinball machine!

Me and my partner live super close and are so lucky to have la Chuperia!! The food is amazing, specifically the street tacos and the wings! We love coming to watch games, and are so excited for the World Cup because we will be here all the time. The staff is incredibly nice and take such good care of you. Very clean and lively atmosphere. The drinks are extremely well priced and they always have deals. The raspberry mint margarita is my fav

Great micheladas! Full bar now! Love how you can play music on the e-jukebox. They sell food. Marcos is great!

I think I'm in LOVE, but I could just be full of tacos and margaritas. Initial Impression: This place is very low-key from the outside. But this is CLEARLY a party on the inside. I want to come here on a Friday/Saturday and get some Latin Vibes. The staff is extremely kind and has great energy (shout out to Stephanie). Service: We were greeted immediately upon arrival, which I love. It was pretty quiet for a sunny Tuesday afternoon, honestly there should be far more people in there for a $2 Taco Tuesday! We were able to seat immediately and the place was spotless. I only had about an hour for lunch and we were able to get in and out within that time. I had the Baja-style fish tacos and my God yes. I need an entire basket of those. I could eat them regularly. Perfectly battered and crispy, the sauce was tasty and the salsas made it pop. I also want to drown myself in the Mango Margaritas with the Chamoy rim. Overall: I'm already plotting my next excursion to La Chuperia. Perfect lunch break! Excellent service, great music, and delicious food. La Chuperia hit all the boxes and I'm hoping to be back very soon!

There is a parking structure right by down the street.

    Is it kid friendly?

I would say no. When I went there was no kids and the ambiance was not for kids. Ive only been there once though so I might be wrong. But from my personal view, I say no.

[Parking]: The coffee shop has a free designated parking lot which I actually appreciate since parking is not easy to come by in this part of the neighborhood. [Amenities & atmosphere]: The restroom is located just outside the entrance and no code is needed. The cafe has a modern and sleek interior which makes this spot an ideal 1st date spot. There is a section where the cafe has various albums hanging on the wall. [Menu]: Some of the highlighted items to order here are Mason Latte, Hojicha Latte, and Brisket Burrito. Kitchen items are served from 8:30 AM to 4 PM. *** Steak Breakfast Burrito (24-hour marinated steak, crispy tots, cheddar, pico de gallo, scrambled eggs, avocado, homemade aioli, served with housemade green aji or red salsa - $21.00): I was given a buzzer only to realize it was for the food order and not the drink. The green sauce was very vinegary with a slightly spicy kick. The burrito itself was not bad as it had all the right ingredients. It took about 10 minutes for the kitchen to prepare this order. Mason Latte (Double shot Espresso, whole milk, homemade brown butter caramel, sea salt - iced $7.75): This drink had to be mixed and shaken first. A solid latte and not too sweet. The flavor was a tad light, but not bad. *** While no food or drink in particular made this place stand out among all other amazing coffee shops in Los Angeles, this is still a solid all-around coffee shop in my book. A big thumbs up on good interior vibe and easy parking.

High ceilings, Natural lighting, classy decor, comfy couches... Yeah, take your time with that room, we'll wait! When I arrived, there were only about 15-20 people ahead of me in line. As the afternoon progressed, the line stretched down the street, yet no staff member came outside to communicate capacity limits, seating availability, or where the line should reasonably end. Even more concerning, patrons were not admitted until after the match had already started. The situation quickly became chaotic. People who had waited for hours were understandably frustrated, and many were openly voicing their concerns. Groups were admitted one at a time, creating further delays. When it was finally my turn to enter, I was informed that all tables had been taken and that only standing room remained. I was allowed to look inside before deciding whether to stay. What I observed was particularly disappointing: many individuals who had not been ahead of me in line were already seated at tables. I have no idea how they got in but I suspect they were allowed in through some other entrance. After waiting more than two hours based on the information provided by the establishment, this felt unfair and misleading. Most disappointing was having invited friends to join me for the match, only to have the experience ruined by what appeared to be poor planning and inadequate crowd management. The demand for a major World Cup match should not have come as a surprise. If the venue anticipated significant attendance, additional seating, staffing, and clear communication should have been put in place. This was one of the most poorly managed event experiences I have encountered. At a minimum, I believe the ownership should publicly acknowledge what occurred and apologize to the many customers who invested hours of their time only to be left without the accommodations they were promised. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

My friend and I split the love bug and it was disappointing. It tasted fruity, but watered down and it felt like there was barely an alcohol in it. I also tasted my other friends' drinks which were also not good. The raspberry beret and the peach paloma were both bitter and not pleasant tasting.   For food, the only decent thing was the buldak. It was cheesy and I liked how they infused the corn cheese into it. The chicken was good and juicy. The tteokkbokki was weird. Firstly, they didn't include the parmesan crisps as they mentioned in the menu. Secondly, the sauce was different compared to other tteokkbokki sauces I'm used to. It was dark red in color, soupy, and oily which I did not like. Thirdly, the rice and fish cakes themselves were very unique in shape. The cakes and sausages weren't that bad and the textures were good, but the sauce was just not it.  Lastly, the ramen was such a scam. For $15, it was just regular shin ramyeon with some mussels, jalapenos and peppers added. For all the food dishes, the portions were all small relative to the price and were not great for sharing in big groups.   The interior was spacious and vibes were decent. The music from the DJ booth was good. The photobooth wasn't working when we visited which was a minus because my friends and I like the photobooths. There's a free and private parking lot next to the pocha which can get filled.   Overall, not the greatest experience at this pocha mostly because of the food and drinks and I would probably not visit again.
