The homemade tacos were worth a trip and for two dollars each I will be coming back for this Tuesday special. I was saddened the area with pool tables etc. was closed off (maybe due to it being slow?). Anyways, dope place to come grab drinks and try out a meal (or tacos). Delish. 8/10 for food... 4/10 for service. When I asked the food server if she could get me a glass of water, she told me to ask the bartender who took my order so I did & then the bartender told me there's only bottled water available (for sale).. because I brought my own bottle I decided I'll just drink out of my own. My wife has been here a couple times. Usually the service is amazing. But today was terrible. We went here after the LAFC game which they won so it's pretty busy but they are used to being that busy so this is nothing new. We waited 20 minutes in line to order drinks and then the bartender said we couldn't order food because the kitchen was slam and she told us to go away back in line which is longer so 20 to 30 minutes longer just to order food and then wait another hour probably for the food to come out. So we just got our beer and then went somewhere else to spend our money. read more

The Miche Spot is hands down one of my favorite places to kick back with good food and great drinks! From the start, our waitress Martha was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel completely taken care of. We had tacos, tortas, wings, and the Chuper Queso Fundido (a must-try) that had the perfect crunch and spice. And of course...the drinks! The mango michelada was refreshing, the spiked horchata was like dessert with a kick, and the cucumber mint and strawberry margaritas were perfect. This place is relaxed, cool, and my server Itzel is attentive and she helped recommend drinks when I was indecisive. I had the guacamole, it's a good appetizer to have as you're drinking. Let me just say there was alot of disappointment. Everything on the menu that I wanted had no meat. Burrito, no meat, nachos no meat and taquitos no meat. Where is the damn meat? Then you cant make any modifications to anything They had a 3 taco lunch special which I thought was great but only for lunch. So I was there and they only would sell you 2 tacos and that would have just pissed me off cuz I needed at least 3. All of this frustrated me so I had a few drinks and kept it moving. Me and my partner live super close and are so lucky to have la Chuperia!! The food is amazing, specifically the street tacos and the wings! We love coming to watch games, and are so excited for the World Cup because we will be here all the time. The staff is incredibly nice and take such good care of you. Highly disappointed, my friend and I were looking for somewhere to have lunch and drinks while in the area. Found them on yelp and thought they might be a good place to go. Parking was horrible but that's to be expected in LA. This was nothing like we expected customer service was trash, the girl I ask for help had a bad attitude.The menu was limited and we were told that has been since January. I think I'm in LOVE, but I could just be full of tacos and margaritas. Initial Impression: This place is very low-key from the outside. But this is CLEARLY a party on the inside. Came in for a Michelada had to wait for that beautiful LA traffic to die down. This place did not disappoint. We started off with four drinks because why not and they were all strong and flavorful. We tried the agua de piña margarita , Cucumber margarita, piña colada and Jamaica Margarita. This spot is actually super cute. They have an antique car at the front with skeletons as drivers which is different than most places. Food was alright. The beef was definitely better than the chicken, chicken reminds me a bit of pollo loco chicken. Prices were a bit higher than usual for tacos, but the drinks were actually pretty good here. The micheladas were really flavorful and reasonably priced. (Thursdays they have a michelada special $7.50 I think) service was excellent no complain, the server constantly kept checking in on us even when the restaurant started to get busy. read more

We got in late to LA and it was perfect place for fast Mexican food. Great Margs! We were just grateful they were will serving dinner at 11 pm and they still served us dinner. Sometimes a movie location might just be all hype but Mirate delivers flavor and again is one of the most picturesque locales. The service is phenomenal. The bartenders were super friendly which isn't always the case. Servers were warm and made suggestions which helped!

In a lovely walkable neighborhood. You can walk up to the Greek or Uber 10 minutes up the hill. Super friendly staff. I have had to walk over to get answers to my questions and I'm usually met with attitude. Bummer because I really wanted this place to be a Los Feliz gem and it's just not.

The building is an original piece of the City's history, boasting a menu that features their famous burritos that vary in size from a regular to a huge party size beast that can feed several. I tried the Hollenbeck and the Okie burritos on two separate occasions via pick up, as aforementioned, the service was quick, convenient and the pick up window is seamless, parking is located next to the structure and I haven't had problems getting there. Hollenbeck was good but I definitely enjoyed the Okie burrito more, I ordered the "original" size once and didn't seem to learn my lesson the second time, these burritos can feed two in Original size. They offer a "Mini" version which would be satisfactory for one person. My favorite thing about these burritos is how "home-made" they are, the salsas and meats are fresh and taste like they came out of an abuelitas kitchen. I still need to try the crunchy tacos and nachos which look great, I recommend trying this classic establishment at least once if you're in the area.

I have tried a lot of the ceviche and the roasted fish. If you like churros, please get them... I tried them for the first time after a friend told me they were the best they had, and he was not wrong. It was not overly sweet and the chocolate was semi-sweet which was perfect.
