Ever since coming here I will forever come here until they go out of business. Once I walked in I noticed the setup and liked how organized it was. You walk in order your food from the visual menu they have, pay then seat yourself. The place was clean and the workers were on top of everything, they didn't let a question go unanswered. We liked that our food was served by a robot, reminded us that we are in the future now. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection and the portions were perfect. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone around!

Was feeling some Mexican food so tried out Rodeo Mexican Grill and I can't believe this is my first time! The staff were all super friendly, and there's even a serving robot--which was fun to see! But don't worry, the human servers come alongside the robot to place the food on your table and check if you need anything else. Their menu is huge, and you order at the register, so I recommend browsing the menu in advance to save some time when you get there. We ordered chicken fajita--super tender and juicy meat--and wet carne asada burrito which was so flavorful! From the food to the vibes, everything was excellent, and I'll definitely be back for more!

Extremely pleased with my experience at Rodeo Mexican Grill this past week! I arrived with a bunch of coworkers, and I was greeted by very friendly staff members at the counter and a huge menu with an array of drinks and food options. I ordered the burrito plate and a manzanita mule. Both the burrito plate and drink were excellent -- tons of flavor in the food, great balance on the mule without sacrificing the tequila. Restaurant vibe was casual and very welcoming. Very fast service, by the way! I want to give a special shoutout to all of the individuals working on Thursday night: ya'll were absolutely wonderful! Thank you for the kindness, careful service, and your humor. Can't wait to return!

Cute and very clean! Staff was very nice and attentive & their robot brings food to you. First time experiencing that... really great. Food is very good and the green sauce was my favorite. We visited twice for food it was that good. Price was decent too!

Usually I really like the food and have no issues but today I got it delivered from this location, they gave me little food and left the shell on some of my shrimp as well as poop. Someone decided to be lazy today and didn't bother to clean my shrimp at all.

A unforgettable experience is an understatement. The employees were especially excellent, being incredibly nice, and seeming like they enjoyed their position. The manager was very nice as well. I highly recommend everyone to try this place out. The food was delicious, and everything was neatly packed (basically, we got lots of stuff like extra forks, strawberry jam, and syrup to name a few). This grill deserves 6 stars, but unfortunately that's not possible. Would eat here again.

Rodeo Mexican Grill is near Downtown Los Angeles on Olympic. Parking is free in their lot and very easy. It is lighted at night. The exterior is so cute and very clean. Once you walk in you will find there are 3 areas in which to sit. You can dine inside, outside, or in the completely covered glass patio with doors open and a heater when needed. They also have take away and delivery. You order from their counter. Their menu is all photos, which my grandson loves, and there is a large menu. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have any questions about the photos the person(s) behind the counter are happy to help and they all speak English and Spanish. You just tell them the order number, written next to the photo and you get exactly that. You can add or take things off if you want. They will also guide you to the best price for what you want. They are just super nice. Once you order they give you a stand with a number and you just take that and sit where you want. The server will bring your food and check on you a few times to make sure you are happy. They serve beer, I am not sure about hard liquor. We did not partake. If you are vaccinated you are welcome to sit indoors, if not, there is the outside patio and the covered glass area that is considered outdoors because there is always at least one exterior door open. Your food is served hot and fresh. They make everything right there from scratch, except the tortillas. It is all great. We love their taco plate and their quesadillas. Their guacamole is great and it comes with chips. Their burritos are wonderful. All of it is traditional Mexican food. It is just the best. A vegetarian can get a good meal here. If you are vegan, eat elsewhere. The service is just great, even the security guard will help you out with whatever you need. We needed more napkins because we were sloppy. They also have bottled soft drinks from Mexico which are just the best. There is nothing better than bottled Mexican Coke, made with real cane sugar and not that fake stuff. Try one. Their prices are so very reasonable. For two people we were able to have a great dinner with sodas and chips and guacamole for 28$. All the staff is just great and I so appreciate kindness. Have a wonderful time.

Came here after work with some coworkers before heading over to a cafe nearby to study. I honestly wasn't expecting much because I was only given the descriptions "Mexican grill" and so my first thought was that it'd be similar to chipotle (I was so wrong). We got there around 6/7pm and there was no line. There's ample indoor/outdoor seating. We ordered and the food came out fairly quickly (approximately 10-15 minutes) and was delicious. I wasn't even hungry but ended up finishing my entire plate. My coworker subbed her beans for fries and I finished like half of them. I ordered the carne asada plate and made little tacos with the tortilla that comes with every plate. The meat was juicy and soft. SO GOOD. Staff is friendly/properly masked and restrooms are clean!!! They also have a decent sized parking lot. Didn't have any trouble parking. 10/10 will be coming back.

I enjoy this place. It's very very clean, service is better than expected, decoration is lovely and food is good. It's a good spot to enjoy some good food for that price. The only thing is that I would have the asada fries without mashed beans. It was a little odd.

The type of bar you choose is important. But sometimes, the Bar Chooses You! Bar Magnolia quietly enters the chat. It was October 11th, 2025 and my wife & I just checked into Hotel Figueroa in DTLA. (EPIC REVIEW Coming Soon!!!) While we were waiting for our room to be ready, we decided to check out the Hotel Bar Lounge... First thought, Color me Impressed! High ceilings, Natural lighting, classy decor, comfy couches... Yeah, take your time with that room, we'll wait! So we plopped down onto their sofa, waited for a cocktail menu, and let the "we left the kids at home with Grandma; let's enjoy being kid-free for the night begin". $18.00 cocktails....Lets Goooo!! Looking back at the Photos, I can't exactly recall what we ordered... Was it a whiskey sour? Was it a paper plane?? Honestly, Who cares! They tasted great. I was sitting across from a beautiful woman. And we were responsibly adulting. What more could a guy ask for?? I'm glad you asked! After a long car ride in, sipping on water, then the first few sips of my cocktail, I suddenly had to go... Luckily, the restrooms are located just adjacent to the bar area and DAMN are they clean!! Hey, if a bar restroom is well taken care of, you know the place has Class.... And Bar Magnolia has the Class to Match! Of course, there is bar stool seating at the bar... Middle Man (Aka waiting for your server to come check back in) In addition to the bar top stools, there are also low top tables, and a few couch-chairs with a low top table for more intimate conversations. Besides those $18 craft cocktails, a short, well Curated list of bubbles, vino and draft beers are all up for grabs. Unfortunately, we had stopped to eat before we arrived (bad move on our part), but next time, and THERE WILL BE A NEXT TIME, we will definitely partake in their food menu (cause damn, did it look GOOD!) So whether you are a guest of Hotel Figueroa, you are leaving the Crypto Arena after a concert and want to paint the town red, or you are simply just wanting to sit, relax and enjoy a nice cocktail at a classy, upscale, but not so pretentious Cocktail Lounge... Bar Magnolia is your place! Well, it's almost closing time, they are about to call for Last Call, so order us another round, bottoms up and Cheers to us!!!

I finally was able to check it off, thanks to a hotel offer with a dining credit. Dahlia is the gorgeous petite space behind the larger ground floor restaurant space now called Cabrillo (formerly Caldo Verde). Dahlia opened as a bespoke cocktail lounge, then began to offer tea. Now it's just tea. There are five 2-tops and two 4-top tables. All food and beverage venues at the Proper used to be under the auspices of famed chef Suzanne Goin and her business partner/sommelier Caroline Styne. They are no longer affiliated with the Proper, but many of their dishes/contributions remain. The last named vestige of them is on the tea menu, "Suzanne's Deviled-Egg Sandwich". The tea menu has several options: Classic, with a seasonal mocktail, or with different champagnes. I opted for the Classic experience, because the mocktail had mocha, not my fave. Server Lluvia was clearly a Dahlia veteran; she offered a tea-smelling of all the teas that interested me as well as crowd favourites. I ultimately chose one of these faves, Mad Hatter's Tea Party, which had passionfruit and vanilla. I declined milk/cream, but did get lemon. There were rock sugar sticks on the table. It seems the selection of tea sandwiches and sweet treats changes every so often, although the vanilla bean scone, dried currant scone, Devonshire cream and apricot orange jam seem like constants. The sandwich selection at my visit were: cucumber, crab/creme fraiche, beet hummus on pita, smoked salmon and Suzanne's deviled egg. All were delish, the beet, crab and deviled egg especially. The sweet treats were: orange fig butter cookie, spiced apple brown butter crumble, cranberry frangipane hand pie, chocolate mocha macaron, pumpkin madeleine, plus the 2 scones. All were excellent. There were no leftovers. A bit pricey, but a relaxing and lovely experience. The room was not crowded when I visited, adding to the calmness of my visit.
