There are also some sides available. I always got oxtail. It's good, but a bit pricey for the amount of meat you get. Others have ordered the pepper steak before and the portions for that are great. The rice is definitely on the salty side, but is good overall. I do appreciate that the lady working there is always generous with pouring extra sauce on our rice as well. We also tried the tres leches during our last visit and would get it again. It had the perfect texture and sweetness.

Whether it's the lunch special or a regular meal they give u two tiny pieces of chicken or very few pieces of meat. It is really a joke. Every Spanish place I know of gives you so much rice and a huge piece of chicken or meat. And the lady who is in there during lunch has an attitude and no personality. This place is not worth it and I won't be coming back again. I just paid $17 dollars and got a small platter with rice and beans and she was super cheap on the beans and the pepper steak I got was like three pieces in the tray. I paid for all rice. Do not come here. I would recommend against it unless you like wasting your money.

It's a very casual, cafeteria-style spot with a semi-open kitchen, but don't let the simplicity fool you -- the food is incredible and the staff here is friendly and patient. The highlight of the experience is the small buffet that features a variety of freshly-made Latin cuisine -- including pulled pork, chicken and beef stews, and other traditional Latin entrees and sides. You can build your own plate by selecting one or more entrees and sides - which are priced accordingly. As a 'gringo' who wasn't entirely sure what everything was, I really appreciated them taking the extra time to explain all the different options and give me their honest recommendations. The counterstaff is bilingual and were pretty patient with my elementary school level Spanish vocabulary and grammar. I ended up going with the pulled pork platter with two sides ($7) and it was terrific -- the perfectly seasoned and tender pork, black beans and rice, and macaroni salad were delicious and very filling. You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and the portions are very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic, home-style Latino food in a laid-back setting, this is the spot! PRO TIP #1: Bring a bottle of wine or beer from home to enjoy with your meal. Sazon Latino is a BYOB establishment and does not serve alcohol. PRO TIP #2: Sazon Latino offers free off-street parking in a small lot behind the restaurant and there's plenty of free on-street parking on Main Street.

It's our go to restaurant for lobster which is prepared perfectly & reasonably priced. Dined here last Friday & had a wonderful meal & service. My husband always orders surf & turf & I the lobster tails. Food was delicious & plentiful with generous portions of Spanish potatoes, vegetables & yellow rice. Don't agree with the bad reviews since we dine here frequently & always have a great meal.

Segovia Tavern may be 5 years old but impressed me as a long established fine eatery! I also had no issues finding food for my diabetic needs, a definite plus! We shared the Caesar salad which was hands down the best I've ever had- crisp romaine, delicious shaved Parmesan, home made croutons, and an excellent anchovy based dressing as it should be. My wife and I shared so we filled our table with the delicious Segovia platter special with lobster, scallops, shrimp, clams and mussels and a filet mignon, a seafood stuffed mushroom tapas plate and a side of spinach and another side of green beans all were amazingly prepared! Our son had these amazing lobster ravioli with shrimp piled on top and an amazing lobster cream sauce, he loved everything and his tiramisu! It was definitely worth the trip for us and we will absolutely return for the excellent food, service and cozy yet elegant interior ambiance!
