Large portions and good prices. Service was good and the inside look like it got a remodel. Thursday was 15$ fajitas. Great deal.

Ahhh I am so torn on this review. On one hand, the restaurant is clean, service is prompt, and *some* of the food is really good. On the flip side of that, some of the items were too pricey for what we got, and there was absolutely no heat whatsoever. It's Mexican food, and there absolutely must be spice, but there was no pica in the salsa, Chile Verde, and many other items that should have it. The absence of heat in very basic items left me without words. Please take from this review what you need. If you like Mexican food without spice (it's not Mexican food) then this place is for you.

Another great meal at La Cocina! So much good food! This time I had the veggie tamale and chili relleno! So great. The rice and beans were terrific. I love it when I can get a great chili relleno. My daughter had steak fajitas and loved them and *BONUS* there was plenty left over for another meal. My SIL had the shrimp fajitas. They were sizzling good. Our server was a delight. And it was cool and cozy inside. Nothing to complain about. See you soon!

The service is always friendly and attentive! I enjoyed my Shrimp Cocktail! It has just a little kick to it and is served with plenty of saltine crackers. The place is always clean and not too loud like other restaurants. I walked out full and content but not uncomfortable from too heavy food!

Best food ever! Let me start with the chips and salsa! Salsa has just the right amount of kick and flavor that makes your taste buds say "ariba"! The menu is filled with so many mouth watering choices, it's difficult to choose one... but guess what?! They're all customizable! The spinach enchiladas? You can add chicken to them. Or not. Want chilies? Add em'! This place is the greatest. The beans are amazing (so far I've only had the back beans) and the rice is scrumptious! I rarely endorse rice, but there you have it - It's delicious! We had the deep fried ice cream for dessert and it was a little bowl of heaven. If you're looking for good food, good service, in a nice atmosphere, this is the place.

First time to La Cocina Grill and was ok. The service and atmosphere were good, and reasonable priced meals. I got the Chicken Quesadillas which was very good, and my wife got the Fish Taco Combo with rice and black beans. It was tasty but deep fried and fishy smell. Both presentations were very good. We would probably give it another try but get taco without fish next time.

First time here at this new restaurant in town. Coming from the restaurant industry, I can appreciate the instant genuine welcome from everyone as you walk in. Betty was our server and was super friendly. Food was also delicious and very well priced so you definitely get your money's worth. The restaurant is super clean so it's definitely a plus. I can also appreciate the fact that even though they close at 8pm people were walking in like 750pm to place orders to go and they were accommodated regardless while being seated with chips and Salsa while they waited for their To Go Order. Customer Service goes a long way for a new business, and you guys are definitely doing it right!

It's quite small, but feels cozy, welcoming, and authentic. The service was great and I LOVE that I didn't have to ask for the extras, like the salsas, cebollitas, etc. A small act that goes a long way. The cebollitas and jalapeños added on top added flavor to my burrito. It was thoughtful of them to add it on top because it didn't melt the to go plate considering our food was cooked fresh. I'd be lying if I didn't say that was one of my concern; but I was so stoked to know my food stayed warm and tasted so delicious when I made it home. Don't get me started on the salsas! The sazón and variety of spice level is everything for me; so I loved that I had options. From the mildest to the spiciest level salsa, I can say they were all made with some love. My favorite was the most spicy, it was so spicy, but I couldn't stop eating it! Heheh Loved the agua fresca options & that you can also get micheladas there. Lastly, it was well proportioned, I got full with some leftovers, which is always a WIN WIN for me Giving it five stars based on my first experience, will most definitely go back for more in the near future!

When we arrived, the place felt small and intimate, which gave it a cozy vibe. I ordered the chile verde burrito, and my partner had a torta. The burrito, in my opinion, needed a bit more salt it came across a little bland. The torta was okay as well, but nothing really stood out. Overall, the food was decent, just not particularly memorable, especially considering it was slightly pricier than expected. What really stood out, though, was the service. Our server was incredibly kind and friendly. She even offered to bring our food to the table, which didn't seem to be their usual process. It appeared that guests typically order at the counter and pick up their food themselves, but she went out of her way to take our order tableside and deliver it to us. That level of attentiveness was definitely appreciated. Parking is pretty limited since the location sits on the corner of a main street, so you're probably better off finding street parking nearby.
