The food is just as tasty as i remember. Beaumont and Banning locals love to visit for good eats and a baseball game! The signature beans at this restaurant are delicious! There's a learning curve happening at Dora's, new staff are joining the party and they're adjusting to their new surroundings. As a result, don't be surprised if they slightly mess up an order. Dinner was fabulous! Sorry, I usually have a picture to share, but we were so hungry we forgot that part. We've been here a number of times, but today was especially good. The chips and salsa tasted yummy and fresh. We just had to have second basket! Me and the boyfriend shared the mixed fajitas. The flour tortillas were so light and perfect with it. Food critic here, I usually go to restaurants and try there food never letting on I'm a critic. I would say I see the vision in this place, I do see the potential for growth. When I came in here in order the seafood boil, it was a bitter and salty towards the bottom, as expected the crab legs small barely any meat, no proper supplies were offered to crack the shells other than the sheller. Other than that id rank the food at 6 out of 10. However I would like to offer some suggestions, as someone familiar with the pastry and culinary world. Banning and Beaumont don't offer a seafood boil spot other than this restaurant. If Dora's would focus on seafood and some appetizers like wings, egg rolls, other particular appetizers that most seafood boil spots offer I can see them being extremely successful. But intermingling seafood boil with Mexican food I do see it being a fluke, on that street alone they already have tons of Mexican food options and tons of street food vendors, to much to compete with. If Dora's would become the main seafood boil restaurant in banning offered variety of shrimp, and crab such king crab etc, I firmly believe they would be very successful.
