Today we came in and discovered that there is buffet with many choices ! Chile Relleno; calabacitas a la mexicana ; omelets ; carne de puerco con nopal and homemade corn tortillas

    Love it

The food was delicious and the service was very good. It's our first time here and we will come back. We had chile verde plate and chile relleno plate. The taste was on point. Here is a picture of ice cream and churro dessert.

New and improved Frijoles, under new ownership. Came a few times, food is fresh, delicious, and great plated appearance. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We came on a Friday and they had karaoke- fun family environment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very friendly and fast.

After a Sunday trip to the desert, we found ourselves craving carnitas on our way home. A quick search led us to Frijoles, and we decided to give it a try. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a talented singer in this charming little cantina.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were promptly seated and received menus along with some tasty chips and salsa. When we asked for a spicier salsa, they happily obliged. The menu features a variety of Mexican dishes, but we all opted for the carnitas plate, which was quite reasonably priced. The food was outstanding! In our experience, you can tell a good Mexican restaurant by the quality of their beans and rice, and Frijoles did not disappoint--both were delicious. They also served fresh tortillas, which added to the experience. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The singer had a wonderful voice, enhancing the cozy atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We absolutely loved our visit! Although it's a bit of a drive from home, it was definitely worth it.

Food was really good. Service was great! Would recommend. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And they have just redone the whole bar area. Looks nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Anyhow, all that talking got us hungry, and I had to be careful with what I could eat thanks to a temporary crown from a root canal. Yikes! As such, Dad suggested this restaurant in a shopping center in Beaumont that's easy to overlook because it's surrounded by healthcare offices. It was a Sunday evening, and we could watch sports, and unbeknownst to us, lots of karaoke (varying degrees of talent), while we dined. My soft food of choice was the lasagne. Our friend got the Mac and cheese, while Dad went for the spaghetti and sausage. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant was. Lots of families and groups were there, and the food arrived before too long, so props to the kitchen staff. Full marks for portions, appearance, and how warm the meals were upon arrival. I had to be careful, but with some enjoyment lost from eating slowly in one side of the mouth, I realized this was a very good lasagne. The Mac and cheese looked great, too, and Dad commented on how good the sausage was. I ate everything except for the garlic bread, due to my situation. A small nibble suggested full flavor, but it wasn't worth the risk since my dentist office was closed until Tuesday. All-in-all, I would come back if I found myself in the area.

This is located in a small shopping center tucked around a corner. You can dine in or take your meal to go. We dined in, and this nice, casual spot has elements of Italy all over. For appetizers, we ordered the Fried Pickles and Sautéed Whole Mushrooms. My mother ordered the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, and I ordered their Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken, minus the broccoli. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided great service. The appetizers arrived, and we shared both. The fried pickle spears were delicious! Covered in a nice batter that didn't disintegrate upon eating. The sautéed mushrooms were seasoned to perfection, and I enjoyed every bite. The Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was larger than expected. My mother enjoyed every bite, and she had plenty left over to eat later. My dish arrived, and I knew that I was going to need a to-go box as well. The helping was generous, and the dish was a delight to eat. The soft strips of chicken were tender, the pasta was just right, and the seasonings were on point. The table next to us inquired as to what I had ordered. One of them ordered the same dish that I had- it looked that good! She agreed that it was delicious! The Fettuccini Alfredo with Chicken was a winning dish for sure. We had plenty left over to enjoy later. Everything tasted just as good warmed up later that evening. We were in the mood for some Japanese food and this place popped up so we headed on over! The street looked completely abandoned so it was a little weird. We luckily found parking right up front and were greeted by the lady bartender. She was chatting with a few guys at the bar but otherwise the place was empty for a Saturday night, maybe because it was still during the holidays. The music was loud but played some great classic r&b and hip hop songs. We walked to sit at the high tables at the back and Leslie, the bartender, came over to bring us water and menus. We ordered some small stuff, house dumplings and their crunchy roll to share. I guess I didn't read it properly but didn't expect the roll to be soy paper which wasn't a big deal at all! The crunchy tempura bits on the top were yummy and overall a solid roll but could barely finish it. The gyoza were great though! They had some game shows playing on the tvs like ninja warrior and all that. Not a bad spot and probably better for drinks rather than food. Leslie was super sweet and made sure to keep checking in on us! IG: @ammysalamii

The options in the buffet were sweet potatoes, zucchini, asparagus, mashed potatoes, chicken fettuccine alfredo, bacon brussel sprouts and a cut of steak. All of the items except for the steak were delicious. Everything was well seasoned. My favorites were between the mashed potatoes, fettuccine alfredo or the bacon brussel sprouts. The steak was dry and needed a lot of sauce. It was tender but dry at the same time. I wouldn't recommend ordering that. Everything else was good. We were also served dessert. There were two options: creme brulee and cherry pie. Both were absolutely delicious and weren't too sweet either which is what I enjoyed! Service was excellent. Our servers were attentive and cleared plates out of our way. The restaurant has plenty of seating and has an old ranch vibe to it. A lot of wooden interior. To the establishment, I really recommend looking up how to properly treat people with legit service animals. What you're doing is not just distasteful, it is illegal.
