3.5 stars and it's on us, not them so we rounded it up. Excellent service! We arrived around 630 and there was only one other table occupied. Within a few minutes, the place was packed! The food was only ok for us. We're used to an option in spice level and there wasn't really an option here and only one of us enjoys spicy heat. Still we ordered chicken fajitas (without the pico and guac because we were told they were both spicy) and they were flavorful but the chicken is thigh and I don't like thigh. We ordered a couple of tacos - also delicious but the chicken taco was wicked spicy and the Al pastor more mellow. My husband loves cheese enchiladas and they don't have them on the menu here but very graciously agreed to make them for him. He didn't enjoy them - they were dry. We shared the churro dessert - YUMMY! I don't think we will go back but you should check them out if you can handle spicy heat and chicken thigh. The service was phenomenal! We had servers checking on us all night long and the initial server we had talked me through the spice levels - she was very patient and helpful. read more

The food here is average. The service tonight was awful! When I arrived, the young woman at the counter practically shouted at me, "to go or for here"? Then she asked, almost with an eye roll, "what do you want"? She acted put out with each new item I ordered, and treated me with a condescending attitude the entire time. She was rude and abrupt. No word of thanks when I picked up my order at the counter. People like her don't belong in customer service. She needs to learn some manners!! I hope the owners realise she is not a good fit in their business. read more

We wanted to try out this new Mexican restaurant in town. I loved the simple decor. Wooden tables are absolutely beautiful. They were able to accommodate our group of nine. The variety of food options was just right and not overwhelming. Several of our group had coffee in their beautiful Mexican coffee mugs. Coffee was served in hand painted Mexican coffee mugs. Some of the ladies had Mimosas with fresh squeezed orange juice and I had the fresh squeezed orange juice which was so delicious. I wish I would have taken pictures of everyone's plates. Food was absolutely delicious and there was no complaints. Authentic Mexican Food! We went during breakfast some had Machaca, some had eggs with nopales (cactus) and French Toast with fresh berries. Overall we had a very nice pleasant first time experience. Staff was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning to try other options of their menu. read more

We tried this place for the first time today and it will not be the last time! I got a veggie taco salad, fresh lettuce and cabbage, yummy rice and beans with a super fresh shell. My husband tried a quesadilla and steak taco both of which he loved and would order again. Big portions, fresh ingredients and friendly service. Did I mention the churros with ice cream for dessert we may go back again tonight just for another round of churros this place is worth checking out. read more

This is the best Mexican food I've had anywhere ever (and I was born and raised in New Mexico). I had the chilaquiles with mole and it was insanely good. The breakfast potatoes were the best breakfast potatoes I've ever eaten. The refried beans were perfect. The best part was the delicious coffee they served in really pretty mugs. It tasted like coffee with horchata. So good! Can't recommend more!!!! Also, really excellent service to top it all off. read more

We went on a Thursday evening, and the place was packed. We waited a few minutes for a seat - and were seated. They were busy - but that is no excuse for how long it took for them to come and take our order. We both ordered horchatas which were very good. We would have ordered another round, but not ONCE did a waitstaff person stop by to see how things were, to refill our water or ask if we'd like another horchata. I ordered the chimichanga, and my husband ordered the fajita platter. Both were tasteless and bland, with no salsa or condiments on the table. They weren't bad, but they certainly weren't worth going back for. Waitstaff was very nice, and they were trying, but they keep up with the large groups and smaller tables. Amazes me that this place gets such high ratings or food, but to each his own. We won't be back. read more

Service has not improved since last being here in January. the owners and management must not care how the waiters service , their attitudes are horrible and spend more time on their phones then attending to the crowd . If you simply ask for a straw they roll eyes.. talk about customer service !! I heard about this place barely opening up so I decided to visit with my girlfriend and sister. We were introduced by friendly staff and were seated. They were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. I would highly recommend to anyone fans of authentic Mexican food or anybody looking for a beer and chips and salsa. I really hate to give a bad review, but...it was a waste of $30. I started with a lime margarita which tasted like it had mango or something in it. The chips came with watery salsa and the over-processed guacamole like you buy in the store that tastes sour. The salsa and guac come in those itty bitty plastic containers that hold about 2 tablespoons. It was taco Tuesday so I ordered 2 tacos al pastor, which were ok but flavorless, and taquitos. I should've read the description more closely as they were actually mini potato tacos, and as we all know, potato has no flavor. When the bill came, I was surprised to find that I was charged $3.50 per taco instead of the taco Tuesday price of $1.50. The waiter said that the taco Tuesday price is for street tacos. Hmmm. if it's taco Tuesday, shouldn't they ask if I wanted the large taco or the taco Tuesday tacos?? The service was great and the presentation was fancy, but the food was disappointing. Won't go back and wouldn't recommend. read more

Flavor is right, however, service is not good, and it might be because of the staffing needs, 2 servers seemed to struggle preparing bar drinks, serving, buzzing and cashiering. No organization as to who has which tables, partial to none cleanliness. They seemed overwhelmed, but they were not gracious about it, resulting in a rude attitude and a bad experience for the clients. I used to really enjoy going to this restaurant but now with the new servers I hate it. The food is good but if I could give zero stars I would, some of the worst customer service in ukiah, the new waitresses were so rude and blew us off once we got there. They were more worried about checking there phone and having conversations with one another than being attentive to there customers. Also thought it was extremely inappropriate that they were drinking on the job especially because I know they are not of age!!! read more

Ordered take out. Fish taco plate and chili relleno burrito. The burrito had two small (1 inch cap and seed and 1 1/2 inch piece of flavorless, what I can guess was once a poblano, rice and cheese. Two bites of the chili, boring rice, a bit of cheese and of the big tortilla. Fish taco only okay. Not crispy. Didn't eat the rice or beans. Salsa strange color and sweet. I do not think that the two young women working cared if I was there or not. Wasted $30. read more
