No thank you I don't even want my money back because I'm just so disappointed in them doing me like that in the first place. I wish I could give 0 stars. Let me start with LA Crawfish normally is worth every penny I also get at least 5 lbs of crawfish and its normally worth it. Just moved here a month ago from Austin. One good thing I will say about this place is the crawfish are covered with tinfoil. So if, like us, you drive 40 minutes for crawfish and take it home they will still be hot so that's great. I drove in from Harlingen closest one to us, called 15 minutes before we got there, was on hold the whole time. Got there and the place is dead with only one table being used inside. No reason for that long of a wait on the phone, especially when there was literally 4 employees just standing at the register talking it up. Third time here, third time with a problem. First visit they got the amount right, 5 lbs, but the flavor was wrong and the crawfish was bad and turned green, after a 45 minute drive with my mouth watering it was just disappointing. Second visit weight and flavor was wrong, 3lbs not 5lbs. The last visit flavor and amount were right on the money but was on hold for 15 minutes and some of the crawfish was green from being bad again. I like to order 15 minutes ahead so I can get it and go. We get there and the staff is just standing at the register talking, I stood there for a solid 30 seconds before she even acknowledged my presence. Even then she was rude like I was messing up her conversation by ordering food. Never used the restroom but the main area was always clean, tables and floor looked great. I will take his word for it as I not personally a fan of the little mud bugs. Thankfully they have plenty of other options: blue, snow and king crab; boiled or fried shrimp, chicken bites or wings, po-boys or baskets, gumbo, various kinds of pho, and more. They take your order at the counter. My wife told the young lady who took our order she wanted shrimp but not any that included a head. The fried butterfly shrimp was suggested and my wife was pleased with her choice. My girls ordered chicken and I got the snow crab. All very good. We recommend the wings over the "chicken bites". The service was over the top: friendly and attentive from start to finish. Three different people came by our table more than once to offer refills or whatever we needed. At one point we decided to order another basket and they took the order from the table rather than requiring us to get back in line. The crab was served with scissors and a tool to crack the shells. There are also bibs and gloves so you can eat without wearing your food. It's very casual and tables are covered with a thin plastic tablecloth which when you're through everything is gathered up easily to throw away. The crawfish and crab boils are served in plastic bags along with any potatoes, corn on the cob or andouille sausage. There are plastic utensils and plenty of paper towels. I had tried the beignets at the other location and was disappointed as they didn't seem anything like the large square ones I had enjoyed at Cafe Dumond in New Orleans. These are shaped like French fries and served on some icing before they're dusted with powdered sugar. So I did not order any this time. Others like them. The atmosphere is loud and like a sports bar with large screen TVs on every wall. Most played sports. One was playing a movie inappropriate for small children. I hope that's not always the case. The restrooms were clean. The parking lot is a bit crowded at peak times. So you may have to park around back. Overall we enjoyed our meal. If you like crawfish, my son insists they're the best and biggest. Their crab is certainly excellent and better than any I have had in the Valley. read more

Let me tell you something i was excited to eat some crawfish, shrimp, crab legs & potatoes and corn it's been a year since I've had it until today Sunday evening March 10.. As I was eating almost everything I looked over at a weird looking black figure inside my dish and to come to my surprise it was a SPIDER!!! Not a small tiny one but a BIG SPIDER!! Gross. Went to eat here for dinner. We had the special which was crawfish. These were the WORST crawfish I've ever eaten. I LOVE crawfish, i love cooking crawfish. I'm from Mississippi and Louisiana, and i know crawfish. These were tough and tasted HORRIBLE! We couldn't even eat them. They had to be boiled and frozen as the meat was tough and rubbery. Maybe they are better during season but they are horrible out of season!! Do not recommend out of season FOR SURE!! Also, they serve Tilapia!! Nastiest fish to ever grace a menu. We found a 6-8" HAIR in the food, and when we explained the situation to the "owners son" he was very rude and just kept denying they had anything to do with the hair INSIDE the bag of boiled crawfish... instead trying to blame my 14yo son. This location has its standards noticeably lower than San Antonio. The restroom only have 1 working sink, no paper towels in the dispenser every time I've gone. They instead have a paper towel holder like the ones on the table which is wrong & is always wet, dirty, gross & even worse always falling over. So inconvenient & unsanitary. This location has a $1 deposit if you want a crawfish tool. In this location you have to wait for the server to come get you refills instead like San Antonio where you can get up & get as much refills as you want buut they are also cashiers so you are going to be waiting for a while. The menu could use some work. I'd rather not come back, too much hassle for everything. read more

I love this place. Food is great. I love the garlic noodles, crawfish cheesy rolls and pretty much everything! Totally recommend.

Had a wonderful meal here. Don't forget to add some potatoes and corn to your meal--that definitely threw it over the edge. 10/10
