    Awesome rock band Thursday night.

Overall good atmosphere. Typical bar food is ok. Don't trust your credit card there and would pay with cash. Credit card info stolen by someone who works there as it was evident when they ran the card manually the next day. Taco Tuesday seems the day to go.....

It's a dive bar not fine dining. Super friendly wait staff. Best beef quesadilla I've ever had and cold beer. I don't know why this place isn't higher rated. Taco Tuesday and it's slam packed!

It smells like urine. This is why maybe. I reported it and no one is doing anything about it. Toilet one and two.

Smells like sewage. Really bad. I would think they could have fixed this problem since it's been ongoing for years, but I guess not.

I arrived a little after 3pm and there were just a few people inside. I was waited on pretty quickly, I think the waiter was just waiting to see where I settled. My waiter Aaron was friendly and attentive, and *tried to suggest something. The problem was, there were too many things I wanted to try! I settled on the fried oysters with a side of cajun fries. The oysters had a delicious seasoning and were well cooked. My only complaint was I felt they had too much breading to appreciate the oyster inside. Again, the breading was delicious - just too much. You get about 10 oysters. The fries were well seasoned as well, and quite plentiful. For dessert I had the caramel banana pie. It looked delicious, but for me, it was just too over the top. For the expense, I certainly would not order again. Speaking of "expense", this place is more in the "medium" price range and not something I would go to on a regular basis for lunch. It was good, and definitely maybe more of a dinner spot. Nice change of pace kind of place!

We have tried a variety of menu items and they have all been great! Poor boy (fish or oysters), tacos, shrimp étouffée, and more. The wings are the best, especially with the special! The service is good, however there are very few wait staff, if you go on Tuesday or Wednesday, expect to wait a bit more.

No one to seat you, dark inside, had to setup chairs off of the table. We were about to walk out when someone finally came and told us that we have to order first at the counter. Person behind the counter was not much help in recommendations. Seems you pay for everything separately. Pieces of corn, pieces of potatoes, sausage halves, shellfish by the pound. Clams were on the overhead menu, was told they don't offer those. Got past that and had asked for sweet tea. Well it came out not sweet. Once the food appeared which I will say was. Way quick we started our finger food adventure. Ordered both shrimp and crawfish. Seems like a lot of work to have to tear heads off shrimp, shell and de-vain. Won't more you with the rest. Quality of the food was not what you would expect from a restaurant that specializes in Cajun Cuisine. Last but not least, wear and tear is very evident especially in the restrooms. For a restaurant that's has not been in this location that long it is evident that management does not pay much attention to appearances.

Food: The seafood was incredibly fresh, seasoned perfectly, and packed with bold flavor. Every bite tasted like it was prepared with care. The sauces were rich without overpowering the natural flavor of the seafood, and the portions were generous. You definitely leave satisfied. Pro tip: I highly recommend ordering bottled water with your meal -- it pairs perfectly with the seasoning and keeps everything balanced while you enjoy the full flavor experience. Service: Ruby was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Our server checked on us consistently without being intrusive, and everything came out quickly and hot. Great customer service. Thanks Ruby! Ambiance: The atmosphere is lively, clean, and comfortable. It has that fun seafood-boil energy while still being relaxed enough to enjoy good conversation. It's a great spot for family dinners, friends' night out, or even a casual date night. Overall, Krab Kings delivers on flavor, service, and vibe. We'll definitely be back!

Shrimp stuffed Jalapeño (2): they were huge and tasted really good. 2. Fried Mushrooms: they were nicely friend with grated Parmesan on top. 3. Popcorn shrimp: this is like any popcorn shrimp you have had at any restaurant. It was good. Then ordered a stuffed crab. (My mom had this and it's her favorite app. Finally we ordered oysters Rockefeller which are always great. For our main meals: Two of us (including myself) had the Red Snapper Rockefeller which was the best thing I've had in a while. There three cheese sauce is something out of this world. The other two individuals had the Kings Stuffed Flounder. They both very much enjoyed it and it came with the same three cheese sauce as well. The fried potatoes were nice and crispy and paired well with the three cheese sauce. The corn was perfectly seasoned. Can't wait to go back again.

First, let's talk about the fact that the air conditioning (or lack thereof) is a HUGE problem. It never works. It's always HOT. Last weekend I visited and they had 2 stand fans running... because once again, the AC was out. Think about that... the AC was out in the middle of Summer. Are we to believe that this restaurant doesn't make enough money to either fix or purchase a new unit? To add insult to injury, the wandering busboy didn't want to turn the ceiling fan on high. That is both unacceptable and ridiculous. Next, let's talk about the food. It's become so-so at best. The once delicious seafood stuffed jalapeño was soggy inside- a mush of tasteless filling that had a few pieces of hard, chopped up shrimp. The french fries had no salt... my question is are they skimping on basic seasonings or are the line cooks just lazy? Most likely both. Lastly, out of all the seafood restaurants in the RGV, Dirty Al's has the WORST cocktail and tartar sauce. In fact, it's the worst I've tasted anywhere. How can that be? Those two sauces are standard and not difficult to make. When Long John Silver has better sauces, you're in trouble. What a shame. What a waste of money. Dirty Al, do better. Bring back the days of delicious food in a comfortable setting. Perhaps it's time to sail off into the sunset.
